I'll be setting up the Lab in the next couple days, as long as work isn't too crazy. There's just one more critical test to pass before you get there, and I'll lay that out in Gameplay tonight. Each of you will need to make a choice before we go on.

GM Therenger |

Since we kicked things off two weeks ago only half the party has been involved. Are the rest of you still out there? Anyone else want to choose a uniform color other than White?

Honey rolled her eyes, an exceptionally common display considering this was their first time uncovered. Her face was honestly on the more unremarkable side despite its faded palor. Soft green irises accompanied by short unkept blonde hair, if one were to ignore the rather obviously metallic jawline she'd pass for a regular human.
Wait wut?
From your avatar, I just sort of assumed you were obviously a droid. And the pic you link to isn't really helpful, since it could be anyone (a guy or a girl) in heavy, heavy gear.
Are you saying you're very human? (and hot? =)

H0N33P0T |

Well, I wouldn't say she was very human, but underneath all that bulky equipment there's something more or less fleshy. Honestly, the picture I choose is rather intentionally androgynous in that sense.
I had art I used for her once upon a time, but I've lost track of it. As well, Honey is strictly described as being on the more unremarkable end. Maybe about 5 or 6/10 if you wanted simple numbers.

Apologies for the slow cadence of posts from me. I'm buried under a mountain of work. I will try to get the Lab setup before Monday.

I can't tell if he's making a joke, a science reference, or speaking metaphorically...

GM Therenger |

It's okay to be stumped. Also, and this is a departure from Star Wars cliche, not all my bad guys are bad guys.

H0N33P0T |

I may or may not have just searched it online.
Also, I dig that as a model. She wasn't very comfortable with those guards being killed for similar reasons.

H0N33P0T |

Alright... Just the "Mirror and Lens storage and Refining", as well as the "Beam Emitter". Mal? Tavin? Either of you care to try your hands? Just at a glance, Tavin might have more luck with the former while Mal could take a crack at the latter with his raw PER. Those are only suggestions, though.

Sorry for the delay, it was a busy week.
I'm still trying to learn the system, and I forgot most of what I had picked up earlier, lol. Won't I use my 4D in Knowledge for the roll? Although my 2D in Perception might limit my interactions so Mal may still have a better chance at success with the "Beam Emitter"
I'll roll under those assumptions to move things along and we can adjust if needed.

GM Therenger |

Thanks Tavin! With your action, the Lab has been properly sabotaged. You guys rolled absolutely lights-out, the Force was with you!
I will resolve everything next week - sorry for the delay but work is crazy and I still need to do my taxes. :(
Also, I will put this to a vote: Since we seem to have lost all the players that were good at killing things, do the four of you want to risk having to shoot your way out of the Tower, or use a more creative approach? I'll run combat if you want it.

APologies. April has approximately all of the birthdays.
Good job guys! Looks like you didn't even need me. Even had I lucked out and rolled a 15 on a talking check, that still would've been only HALF of what Khal got. I'd'a just been holding him back!

GM Therenger |

Sorry for not getting to this again this week. Work was crazier this week than last and I'm struggling with my creative spark. Star Wars is really built for combat, but this party is not. It doesn't help me much that you guys blew through the Lab like it was a walk in the park. ;P
My inclination is to hand wave the intervening floors of the Tower, which I expect you'll pass on anyway, and take the action to the roof and the ship. I would not inflict a dungeon-crawl on this group.
Is there anything else anyone wants to explore on Red Barren?

H0N33P0T |

Well, if you don't count those once in a lifetime thermo-nuclear grenades crafted out of nowhere. I feel like I should invest in explosives more.
Not this time around, we pretty much jumped straight into the whole "let's go do the job right now" sorta thing. Some of the Red Barron characters would be interesting to follow up with, but I'm curious about what the open galaxy has in store.

GM Therenger |

The first time I ran this, there was a lot more engagement with the locals, and it created intriguing forays away from the main plot. The way this has worked out is fine; I bit off more than I could chew between increasing work responsibilities and two young boys in the house. The idea of running a home brew campaign, in retrospect, is something I should have left unfinished.
Anyway, we're nearing the end of this little adventure, but I have several published modules we could continue with... if you survive.

GM Therenger |

Apologies again for radio silence. Work has been really intense the past several weeks. I have planned for how this is going to work out and just need to get my head and heart back to writing.
