Oorgatch crits and obliterates Magenta Mix.
Yan's smite works on the fiendish Zebub.
Not only does it work but the devil is especially vulnerable and goes down in a pile of ash and brimstone.
Without the Zebub commanding it the final Dreshkan stops attacking Yan and goes back to sorting objects in one of the cells.

These former prison cells hold barrels of pitch, jugs of lantern oil, fuse cord, flint and steel, and hundreds of arrows—sufficient supplies to destroy a small village.
The office door in the SE is locked but the Zebub has the key. In it is even more valuable destructive equipment.
One standard explosive arrow
Three 3rd-level spellstrike arrows
Three young red dragon’s breath potions
Ten moderate alchemist’s fires.
You can faintly hear the sound of pounding from the double doors to the north, but it's hard to make out anything in particular.
The Zebub also, on a cord infused with cold iron around its neck is a pendant that seems to be 1/5th of a pentagram.
Oorgatch |
”Let’s take what we can carry, and lock the rest in the office. At least we can hopefully prevent anyone else from using it. ”

"Do you think that they attack you due to that cursed book, Ruindelover?"

"Sounds good."
Sendoski takes the pendant.
"Perhaps we'll find the other pieces."
He considers Scarred One's question.
"Right, the book. I nearly forgot about it. How do they know I have it?"
From Sendoski's shoulder, Naught says, "If they want it, the book must be important. Do keep it safe."
"Of course," Sendsoksi says with renewed purpose.
Scarred One |
"Do we leave that creature living?" Scarred One asks looking at the last Dreshkan as he walks towards the doors at the end of the cells

Naught says, dryly, from atop Sendoski's shoulder, "I said keep it safe, not spill soup on it."
Oorgatch |
”I was wondering the same thing. But if it is harmless without leadership, I think we just leave it be.”
Yan Tovis |
Yan nods. I think so, let's leave it be. We can push on.
ONward thru the door at the end of that hall!
Pirate GM |
Despite Yan's attempt to ruin another of Sendoki's fine books the party pushes forward.
Heading north you find a chamber who's walls are charred black. Chains hang from the 20-foot-tall ceiling, suspending shelves holding tools and metal ingots. A forge fills an alcove in the north wall; its mouth yawns open, filled with jagged teeth like those of a great beast, and a blazing fire roars inside.
Between the beast-forge’s horns, a hole in the ceiling captures the smoke belching from its nostrils. An anvil rests near the forge. The west wall has a trough of sooty water pushed up against it, and weapon racks flank the double door you've just come through on the south wall.
A breastplate wearing fiend with a partial pentagram amulet and a red hot hammer looks up from the forge and stops pounding while a bearded devil leans on the eastern wall, one hand on a particularly vicious looking glaive that given it's perfect fit you could assume it was custom made.
"Ha, Barcumbuk thanks you for defeating that stupid fly. Barcumbuk will kill you swiftly and minimize your suffering." announces the forgemaster.
