Anyway, I survived the Florida heat, and managed to not even get a sunburn.

We figure that my recent radiation treatments lowered my immune response somewhat.

On the plus side, at least my AC is working! (The main AC breaker had fried. I replaced all the big double pole breakers in the box)

This stinks, because not only is tomorrow my daughters birthday (WAS planning on taking her out for dinner) But my father in law needs to go to a nursing home, (He's from New Orleans, currently in another Southern La town with my sister in law, who is a nurse, and hes driving her crazy so she driving US crazy) ANd I was HOPING to go see my mother and aunt at the beach this holiday weekend. SInce I havent seen them in a year cuz of the surgery,...

Hey all, apologies for my unannounced vanishing act this weekend.

My mom & aunt rented a condo for the holiday week, and I got the chance to go and visit them this weekend.

SInce I havent seen them (OR left the house except to go to work and grocery store) since my surgery a YEAR ago, I took the trip. :)

I'm having a ton of trouble updating Paizo, especially this particular pbp. I get the Dreaded Space Rat a lot. At least my last post stuck, even though The Rat visited.

Just FYI, I have a large, week-long rental on my stage this week. So my time is limited. (And my brain will be fried even if I DO find time)

I’m not sure how we could ask that without tipping our hand.

Just ask him if he's heard about how they plan to find and enter the old mine.
If he asks, we know about their plans of course, we just haven't found the main entrance,or how to get in since we heard it's collapsed, ourselves yet. :)

It's a one-shot device, but you can keep it for as long as you want. Of course, it won't work on magic items that need the form they're in.

So Sorry for radio silence. Been a busy Holiday.

On top of 'the usual' Holiday stuff, my wife had surgery (Nothing 'major', out-patient nasal surgery, but the recovery time is ridiculous!) AND so, of course for Christmas I got sick! ;P
SO I am trying to take care of her, and NOT share my cold (or whatever), because that would not be good. >_<

I'm about to be away for 10 days - but with the usual "post-trip" recovery time, I think it's safer to say I'm away 'til Jan 14th (so we can all be pleasantly surprised if I'm online sooner).

So, figure out if you're going to keep the deal or push into the cave. Lots of time to discuss. ;)

Also, based on the throwaway comment from the guy that the wolf ate about causing more problems for us in town while we're out here, it looks like the DM expects us to split the party for all of our expeditions now and leave some folks behind in town so that the orcs can't f+#% with us there while we are out here.

Oh the wolf was talking about Mr I-run-too-fast-to-see-Fae.

That was the GM giving us a message that we still need to deal with that 'little' issue.

Merlan now has access to the See Invis and Glitterbomb, (which was why he had them memorized for the Summoner, he was expecting another visit from the Quickling. THAT worked out for a change!) ;P

You know, all the bad stories I hear about are when people split the party into two groups. Maybe the issue isn't splitting the party, maybe it's not enough groups!!

So, I'm still confused, because we have the wolf going "go on in I won't even bother to try to eat you" and then a few posts later "okay you can sleep here [in order to go in in the morning...] but then you have to leave"?

I'm PRETTY sure the wolf meant leave the immediate area?
Whether we leave by entering the Cave-O-Doom, or leave by getting out of town, he doesn't care. (?!?)

I vote CAVE, it's closer. :)

He never wanted to let you go into the cave, he was just sick of arguing with you -- however, he did say that he'd protect you while you slept so long as you left.

That said, how everyone reacts to the grey areas and confusion can be very interesting indeed.
