I've lost internet, so windows to post will be scant for at least today (I certainly hope not much longer). Was supposed to be back last night but they keep moving the finish time forward by 3 hours every time it gets to the estimated time of repair.

holy crap, I'm out for a couple days and things happened! LOL. Sorry, I was way too sick for my own good. Nothing alarming, just sick.

Can we assume Sinan spent the rest of his healing to get us all full before we slept and he worked to help Simon learn much about his Lady. Any conversation that Simon starts regarding his past, Sinan shrugs off with the "we can talk later" in standard form.

I'll be traveling tomorrow and Sunday, so will have little time to post. Kunsheng is also going to switch his infused reagents loadout--2 lesser antidotes, 2 minor elixirs of life, 2 lesser alchemist's fire, and 2 lesser frost vials.

Oh it definitely will. But Sinan is somewhat sold on his ability to do just that so far- and is a little underknowledgable in tactics.

That being said, I like his straightforward approach, but he will probably suffer for it

I'm only able to access the game via phone, and can't edit the map. Put Kunsheng two squares to Simon's left.


Regarding the terrain here.

The green here in the yard —grass— is not difficult terrain. The bubbling pond in the middle is greater difficult terrain. The squares that make up the shore of said pond are regular difficult terrain.


Very good ideas so far. If Deerslicer sneaks in with the plant, that would give him a +1 circumstance to Sneak. If you decide to bring Simon in as a prisoner, please go ahead and execute it when ready.

The orcs haven't seen the iris opening, but the one by the sludge pool will notice it in about 6 to 12 seconds. The other creatures haven't noticed you. Yet. So if you're going to hit them, you'll need to either hit them fast or hide and let Deerslicer sneak in alone.

in 2e, Cleric spells are static like a wizard's, not fluid like a sorcerer's right? Just making sure because I used up my burning hands if so. I know I can change them to healing if needs be.

Yes. Clerics, druids, and wizards (so far) are prepared (static).

I don't usually do this, but this is certainly a fight you will not win in your current state unless luck is with you. So Gamble's suggestion is of note.

Also, not trying to sound rude, but have you thought of backup characters just in case?

I mean I have a former squire of lastwall that will likely be a fighter or champion, so.... I'd say you're dead on.

There will be no hard feelings if you want to leave Simon behind. His soul is secured, and maybe whatever character I make will have a background Detective and is hunting Simon down for his past crimes. :)
