I have a few questions regarding the house. Is the per-day home restoration cost only applicable to the Repair tasks? If we're going to prepare meals in the house do we need pots, pans, etc.? How much cleaning did the caravan crew manage? Per the task descriptions, the estate has to be cleaned before we can sleep there...with what's been done, can we stay there tonight?

Sorry, really busy today. I'll move the story forward and answer that question either later today or tonight. Sorry.

@John: Restoration costs only applies to repair tasks. The house is abandoned, but still has things. The furniture is in bad shape, as it hasn't seen use in 20 years, most of it rotted as it, but not all of it. You would find pots and pans, and thanks to Pepper, you can now wash them.

The caravan crew, and Valor and Pepper cleaned up about half the estate. I'd say it makes sense they're done with the living quarters. You can sleep there, and recover HP without penalties if you share rooms.

Fatigued is a real pain in 2E, so I'm fine out of character with waiting for Simon to rest up, even if Deerslicer grouses about it a bit. I can scout the Dead Willow house, in case Hallod leaves before everybody is ready to go. If we're at 2 pm, and wait 8 hours for rest, I assume that I'll be okay to start at 10 pm without a rest. Not sure if anybody else in the group (except Simon) is particularly Stealthy, so probably everyone else can just rest for that time.

Although I think I missed it if Kunsheng treated my dog bite.

Sorry about that...I've had some busy days, and working through 15-20 involved posts at the end of the day I've missed some things. (Currently slacking off during a telecon.)

In my headcancon, Pepper grows a small branch from like her shoulder, then plucks the berry from it and shoves it at whichever human needs it every time she casts Goodberry. It's both terrifying and sweet and maybe a little gross. But nothing anyone ever says will convince me otherwise.

At the very beginning this was actually discussed by Eric and me, but I nixed it, because I'm a bad person. But hey, at least I don't maim my allies!

My understanding of the Assurance skill feat is that your check result is 10 + your proficiency bonus (i.e., level plus 2 if you're Trained, etc.). So for Sinan you'd get an automatic result of 14, but Treat Wounds has a base DC of 15. Did I miss an erratum on that?

GM: As I was updating my tagline, I realized that I have had two mistakes listed there for the entirety of Level 1. One is that my Fortitude save has been listed at +4, when it should have been +3; the other is that my Initiative was listed as +9, when it should have been the same as my Perception (+7). Both of these were correct on my sheet (I moved 12 Con to 12 Str and took Toughness instead of Incredible Initiative to offset) but I guess I forgot to update my tagline. Let me know if there's an appropriate pennance that I should do.

Edit: Also, Simon has Assurance (Medicine) but is Expert in Medicine so his Assurance value is 16.

If it is Battle Medicine, you should only be immune to the person who performed it on you not from all sources (different people can do it to you, each 1/day).
If it is Treat Wounds, it should not be 1 day.

re. Expert in Skills, as said, all Rogues can up to Expert at level 2.

The problem is that, while communing with the Spirits, a lot of them entered Pepper's mind, and whisper to her all the time.
"Do this-- no, do that-- This is what that is!-- NO! That is what this is!"
Pepper cannot tell what is correct from what is wrong anymore... but at least she knows things all the time!

@Kunsheng, Quick Repair and Repair is for items. I wouldn't say it would help that much in repairing the walls.

@Simon, it's fine. Just have the corrected tagline, I imagine most mistakes are human error and I've been making and will be making them too, so don't fret.

I love that Simon is probably having an existential crisis of "Oh crap, what did I just do?"

Do you guys have any tips or go-to places to learn about doing maps and tokens on google drive? I haven't run anything on the boards before, but next week I want to start to prep to run the new 1-4 SFS adventure on the boards. Cincinnati is expected to stay closed for a couple more months at least, so I won't get to run my new adventure in meatspace when it releases next week.

But on the boards? Yeah that could be really fun and inspire some real roleplay in a mostly combat scenario.
