Pfifferling ”PEPPER” Chanterelle and Beltza

Leshys are small plant creatures, roughly humanoid in form:
Guardians and emissaries of the environment, leshies are immortal spirits of nature temporarily granted a physical form.
“Pepper” was “born” when a master of primal magic conducted a ritual to create a suitable vessel, and then a spirit chose that vessel to be their temporary home. Leshies are self-sufficient from the moment the ritual ends, and so they do not depend upon these druidic masters for care, though.
Pepper’s goal on the Material Plane, is to encourage civilizations to cooperate with nature and build their cities in ecologically friendly ways.

Not all leshies have a strong enough spirit to strike off completely on their own, however. Weaker nature spirits can form only tenuous bonds that are just strong enough to animate Tiny bodies. These spirits become leshy familiars, and such is Beltza, acting as a companion to Pepper. Pepper is protective of Beltza, advocating for them to be treated with dignity and respect.

Religion is not particularly significant to most leshies. Pepper has a philosophical bend and leans towards the Green Faith.

Plant Nourishment:
You gain nourishment in the same way that the plants or fungi that match your body type normally do, through some combination of photosynthesis, absorbing minerals with your roots, or scavenging decaying matter. You typically do not need to pay for food. If you normally rely on photosynthesis and go without sunlight for 1 week, you begin to starve. You can derive nourishment from specially formulated bottles of sunlight instead of natural sunlight, but these bottles cost 10 times as much as standard rations (or 40 sp).

Falling Leaf:
Your body is made mostly from natural foliage, and like a leaf tumbling from a tree, you land from falls with particular grace. You take no damage from falling, regardless of the distance you fall.

Description:
Pfifferling ”PEPPER” Chanterelle and Beltza

Pfifferling Chanterelle, a.k.a. “Pepper”, is a leshy, meaning she looks like a small birch tree, with limbs covered in pale white bark, and her “hair” and “clothes” are branches covered in pale green leaves.
At about 3 feet (or 1 meter) tall, she is covered in small orange mushrooms.
On her shoulder, there is a bigger mushroom… that actually has eyes!
Yes, that is Beltza, Pepper’s leshy familiar.

To protect herself, she has wrapped straps of leather around her trunk and parts of her branch-limbs. Her left hand carries a big piece of oak-bark, that she uses to shield herself.
From her right hand, you some nice red and white berries. These are on the holly and mistletoe growing from that part of Pepper... that she can clasp to cast her Primal Druid spells.
She also has a ruby red apple dangling from her waist, ready to be picked... so its juice can heal comrades.
Oh, poking out of her trunk her and there, you see some wooden needles, twine, rolled up leaves filled with some salve...

Background:
Pepper has been a spirit of wild flowers forever, and now, just recently, a powerful fey druid (Progenitor), worried about industrialization, has brought this spirit to inhabit a body made of leaves and plants.
"Born" in a cavern in the Aspodell Mountains where they border the Chitterwood, Pepper is now a leshy-- and her good friend, Beltza, who was a spirit of wildgrass, is a slightly less powerful leshy familiar.
Very excited about her mission, that she wishes to proudly carry out, Pepper spent some time creating the gear she needs, and has now set off on a long trek, to discover the world-- and reach Almas, in Taldor. There, she is tasked with analyzing the impact of urbanization on Nature, and then reporting to her creator, giving him some ideas of how to make things better.
