Ulfrec and Geri in Jail:

Go to town, take a simple job... Frack! By Tree and Mountain!

Geri, attack!

I'll either pitch in or work on an exit, com'on boy!

Boris, hold on!

attack veggie, Geri: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
damage veggie: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

attack veggie, Ulfrec: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
damage veggie: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Evil GM

ulfrec and Geri:

Geri pounces and misses wide. Ulfrec then brings the homemade club down on the plant-like creature's body and hits it hard. It's woody body splinters under the weight of the club. It stops moving.

Ulfrec and Geri in Jail:

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Evil GM

Beorn

It is obvious that this was a precision strike, these guards were caught unaware and their deaths were fast. The guard stationed right outside of Mrs. Turner's room has two lung puncture wounds that silenced him. While the second guard was taken down with a single puncture wound at the base of his skull. A very professional hit. Ulfrec is fortunate he spent the night in jail, since this was his room too.

Dr. Tes

You recall seeing that second table of mercenary folk in the tavern and they did disappear once the bar fight started. Could be coincidence, but it could also be a clue.

Dr. Tes:
You notice Mrs' turner's wooden door has an oddness to it, it's not smooth like the others.

Beorn Local Knowledge

Captain Bloody Jack did issue a curse and you do hear Aggrah talking about the Creeping vines. It seems reasonable to link the two events. You also figure the Horsefly Swamp is somehow involved with this mystery.

Ulfrec and Geri:

You hear keys fumbling with the iron doorway that leads down to the jail cells. Sounds like it could be a guard or someone with access to the keys.

Male Dwarf Druid 5 (Wolf Shaman) HP 56/56, AC19/T12/F17, Saves F+8/R+3/W+6, Perc +10, Init +6

Ulfrec and Geri in Jail:

What's the interior door/walls situation, wooden with barred window? Or all floor to ceiling bars?

Ulfrec examines and tests the suspect stonework.

Male Goblin unchained rogue (knife master, scout) 5 Init 5 AC20/T17/F14, Perc +7, Stelth +21 Saves F+3/R+9/W+0, HP 47/47

Seeing Grumpy wipe his hands after touching the door nob thinks That's probably locked. untangling himself from the two half-orc he says "Poke Poke going to grab tools to unlock door. Be right back don't cause anymore problems pig faces." he runs back toward his room

gm:
Poke Poke is grabbing his tools and a blanket not from his or Dr Tes's bed. Let me know how long that will take

Evil GM

Poke Poke:

You can grab Beorn's blanket and your tools and be back in 3 rounds. One round to get there, one to retrieve, and one to get back.

Evil GM

Ulfrec and Geri:
The walls are stone and mortar, the floor is a thick river stone with is tightly packeted in mortar, the door is iron and there are iron rods to permit passage of fresh air and food. It's not prison its more of jail (or shorter term holding cells).

The sound of the door leading to the cells creaks as it opens. Heavy footsteps follow.

hurry up greenskin! frustrated at the delay in opening the door annoyed watching the greenskin run back to his room

Aggrah looks around
Can SOMEONE bust the door open? It's an interior door. The lock can't be that strong

Aggrah examines the door for Magic wondering why it's different than the others

Male Human Invulnerable Rager HP: 50/50 AC18/12/16, F6/R3/W2, Perception: +6, Survival +6, Init:+2; CMD:18; CMB+6

Calain, feeling a little wozy and working his fingers to shake the numbness from them simply states, Can hardly feel my hand at the moment. Knowing my luck there's probably another trap that'll spring if I kick it in.

Clad in a nightshirt, with only his boots on and Greatsword in hand, Calain felt a little vulnerable, but it would take some time to get properly Armored and there didn't seem to be a scuffle to be had here. He decided not to bother getting his armor yet and hoped whatever had killed the guards had already left.

Bloody Jack did issue a curse and the goblin talked about creeping vines. Horsefly Swamp has somethign to do with this as well. Beorn glances at the door. Axes would be best to knock that open, I wonder if we could squirt booze on it to stop any poison if you were poisoned.

spellcraft, what kind of magic on the door: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

Evil GM

Aggrah:
There are two schools of magic on the door: transmutation and abjuration.

Ulfrec and Geri:
You are fairly certain it the clippity cloppity of the sheriff's hooves approaching. The hooves take a few moments to get to your cell as he seems to be stopping at cells, opening those doors and then there's a chopping sound before he moves on to the next cell.

Tes... Be careful. The doors been magicked with transmutation and abjuration... But what effect that'll have I don't know

Evil GM

Dr. Tes try to pick the lock but loose control of the pick and it tumbles to the floor. Fortunately, you knew enough to avoid directly touching the door or the lock.

Geri and Ulfrec:
The sheriff appears at your door and shanks his head. 'Early release boys, don't know how this happened. But I suspect someone tainted the food to cause this. Glad you are alright.

He opens your door and you can see there are several other cell door open and hacketed up veggie people, their hosts all seem to be deceased. Boris emerges from him cell holding the wooden leg of his cot. "Four of those damn things popped out.

Ulfrec hugs the brawler. Thanks, Boris... Glad you made it.

I don't think it was the food, there was this mold or fungus creeping along the wall, splitting, branching off and spreading in different directions.

It got inside of'him.

Thanks for the hospitality, Sheriff. Now, where can we pick up our gear?

Geri whines, anxiously. Let's get out of this place...

What is that weapon make out of?

The sheriff directs you upstairs you and as you pass some of the cells you and Boris see a few shredded inmates. When you get to the front desk you also see the fungus attacked a few guards. It does not appear to be isolated to the cell blocks.

Calain backs down the hall a little, in case the goblin blows himself up in the process...

You strike the door nicking it and in response the wooden spike does a quarter of that amount of damage to your weapon.

roll your damage

Evil GM

Everyone but Ulfrec is in the hallway. What are you doing now?

Ulfrec and Geri:
As you leave the jail and head towards the inn you see the unimaginable...the entire inn appears to be encased in plant growth. It's going to take several rounds for you to get close enough to truly access the situation.

1/2O Bard2HP18/18,Init+2,Per+4,F3R6W4(6Fear),AC16T12FF14

Perhaps we can break off clubs and spare damage to our weapons?

Sorry I've been gone. Been busy the past few days

I don't mind damaging my weapon, If need I'll get a new one.

Break down the door: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Bron drives the point of his sword into the gap between the door and the wall and uses the handle as a lever to try and open it.

I tried

Beorn tries to find a chair or stool. We can use this to break it down. Breaking of a leg if needed, Beorn attempts to use it as a crude battering ram.CHARGE!

Bash,Bash,Bash the door CMB: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Evil GM

Beorn each of your rooms, including the one with the dead guard in the doorway, has a chair that can broken apart.

You hit the knotty door but there is no damage to either the wooden club or door.

What is everyone else doing?

Male Goblin unchained rogue (knife master, scout) 5 Init 5 AC20/T17/F14, Perc +7, Stelth +21 Saves F+3/R+9/W+0, HP 47/47

yay the sites back up

Poke Poke stands in amazement as the half-orc pounds on the door then starts laughing HaHaHaha, you big dummy whats a chair leg supposed to do?

perc for other traps beside the poison film: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Figuring the the half-orc probably aleady trip any remaining traps Poke Poke wipes away any remaining poison with the blanket and proceeds to work on the lock

lock picking: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Trying to keep an eye on the crazy bard while working the lock doesn't quite get the pick in the hole.

"Hey, Pig Face how abouts you stand over there. Your making Poke Poke a bit nervous with your chair leg and crazed look."

Evil GM

using the blanket the goblin wipes the lock clean.

Poke poke you completely miss the lock with your attempt. You, now, hear snickering coming from across the hall from one of the guests peeking out of her room.

1/2O Bard2HP18/18,Init+2,Per+4,F3R6W4(6Fear),AC16T12FF14

HP 39/39 AC 16/ T 12/ FF 14/ F+4/ R+4/ W+7/CMD 12, Init +2, Perc +7, Height 5'6, swim +2

Aggrah snickers softly at the little greenskin and lightly elbows Beorn let him do his thing. But if he keeps having trouble AND he asks nicely I MIGHT brew him up something for his performance anxiety

Evil GM

Is anyone else going to do anything or assist.

Male Goblin unchained rogue (knife master, scout) 5 Init 5 AC20/T17/F14, Perc +7, Stelth +21 Saves F+3/R+9/W+0, HP 47/47

With boarish bard backing away Poke Poke concentrates on the lock a little more.

pick lock: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24

He thinks Feels like its almost there. Need one more pick.

"Hey Doc, can you hold this pick while, Poke Poke jams this other one in."

Dr. Tes can you roll to assist, please?

M Elf Rogue (Discretion Specialist) 3

Do I get the benefits of the tools?

M Elf Rogue (Discretion Specialist) 3

Eh, I'm gonna assume no.

disable device: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
