    It's just that right now we have a Cleric, a Sorcerer, and an Alchemist.

    I'm not worried about us dealing damage or healing, but none of us could really tank.

    @Gruvok: To answer your question - I don't see clear guidance, but, whilst mounted, you count as being in each of your mount's four squares, and it is a 5' emanation centred on you...

    ...so it would (effectively) be four overlapping 5' emanations, essentially making it a 5' emanation centred on a large template... but with the crucial difference that it would *also* affect your mount.

    So, for non-damaging spells (say, Bless), it is purely beneficial, but for damaging spells, it has a down-side...

    They do, but it’s a feat and doesn’t even appear to be that good. I could see it be used to stay up, then the enemy just attacks again and takes you down anyway.

    We have to try to hit and retreat each round, to avoid they can get multiple attacks.

    Yes, well, they are (effectively) Int 6, and prefer to be in sewerage, so I felt it reasonably to assume that they would prefer to *stay* in it, as a first reaction...

    ...but now that one of them has asked the other to make space, I figure that is grounds to do so.

    Yay for monsters with sub-human intelligence; that way I don't have to play them with human-level squad tactics :-P

    I must admit, I do find it worrying that the scenario writer has good-aligned creatures force-attacking the party (with no way to talk them down), simply because you fail some skill checks, and (from their perspective) you are consequently basically being viewed as a destabilising organic virus, which needs to be eliminated for the greater good...
