It appears that there is no longer a limit to slotting of regular boons. You are now limited to only two ally boons (like hireling) and one advanced boon. I could be missing something though, the players guide isn't always clear.
You can only have 1 Hireling, 1 Advanced and 1 Promotional, but any number of others.
And there are no more faction boons. You simply select a faction at the beginning of the adventure.

That's a pity that there are no faction boons anymore. But do they boons from fraction we have bought with fame be still in use? Dran'Thor has a good one very useful.

I haven’t found anything about the boon buying system and how or if it works. I’m not going to mess with it right now because I expect it isn’t finished... judging based upon how many times the play test boon system got changed and updated.

? I am not sure where you are coming from, Farryn - Fin-Thir *is* Wounded 1 (he stabilised due to critting his Recovery check), whilst Papa is currently Dying 2 (due to being dropped by a crit...?
I was posting that FYI for my allies, the GM had everything managed perfectly. I see now my post was worded poorly. My concern came from the fact that last round my allies didn’t heal anyone out of fear another Crit would put the player at dying 4, killing them. But in reality another Crit would have only put them at dying 3. All that said, it wasn’t a bad idea to skip a heal there but we are starting to drop like flies.

No I think the errors were due to cast spell and stride without paying attention to the AoO.
The one without border has its token turned on the other side to make it different.

@Ukh: Correct.
Thematically, it would be difficult to tell the trolls apart - they are the same size, and have the same equipment; the unbordered one is just... tougher... The lack of the border and the flipped token was supposed to be the subtle hint that it might be different.
That said, I doubt this will be a TPK (although you will almost certainly 'lose' the combat, at this point in time) - remember, this is part of a larger battle for the town, so the trolls are incredibly unlikely to stand around to (essentially) coup-de-grace you, when there are other townsfolk to chase after (or at least, the scenario certainly doesn't say they do, so I won't have them do it). If it was just you versus them in a dungeon/lair, it would be a different story, of course.
It doesn't even affect either the primary or secondary success conditions - you will just lose a couple of treasure bundles.
To be fair to you guys, though, this is the first combat you have had in PF2 thus far, where *all* the enemies had AoOs...

Losing initiative to allow them to set the battlefield was really bad. All having AoO’s is also very rough. Literally everything Farryn does provokes, so even if he Stepped his Heal or Bomb would provoke right after.
If we die, it happens. We have ACP or even usable Fame for Rezzes.

I read the pitch and I'm asking myself how it will work for the alchemists throwing bombs underwater. I'm asking this because with Farryn and Ukh in the party it won't be a fun experience if both can't throw any bomb.

Farryn will go regardless, I have no one else in level range. Will do check in later.

Alchemist Fire is useless, and Acid Flasks are of limited utility. Literally every other type of bomb is fine :-P
To summarise:
AQUATIC COMBAT:
• You’re flat-footed unless you have a swim Speed.
• You gain resistance 5 to acid and fire.
• You take a –2 circumstance penalty to melee slashing or bludgeoning attacks that pass through water.
• Ranged attacks that deal bludgeoning or slashing damage automatically miss if the attacker or target is underwater, and piercing ranged attacks made by an underwater creature or against an underwater target have their range increments halved.
• You can’t cast fire spells or use actions with the fire trait underwater.
• At the GM’s discretion, some ground-based actions might not work underwater or while floating.

There are 5th Level Pregens available if you want to play something different.
I'm glad this is repeatable, because I have a Level 2 "Wereshark" Barbarian with a Swim Speed.
I will also admit, I have been excited for this scenario for a while. Sahuagin are probably my favorite villainous humanoid. I've read all of the Sea Devils Forgotten Realms books and used to own all of the AD&D supplements about them. I even have this laminated poster showing their life cycle from hatchling to the most epic four-armed king!
Most GMs and plots, sadly, don't account for their rich history. Which I'm always prepared for. But I'm hoping PF2 gives them a chance to shine as more than bloodraging devourers.
