Sorry- things have been so crazy with the move I haven't had time for phone posts. I think I should be able to post tomorrow afternoon (assuming everything goes smoothly with the internet installation), but please feel free to bot me if you need to move along.
edit: got a quick one up now

Moving this to the discussion thread...
Thanks, I forget to update my taglines... doing it now..
Thanks. I'll try to help keep the infernal healing changes up to date and having a current tag line will help. Seems only fair since it is my spell that is causing all the bookkeeping! So is that 15 HP after the first point of infernal healing?

I will be on vacation Thus-Mon. I'm pretty good at keeping up while vacationing but there are two 10+ hour drives involved so I may not be able to respond promptly at times.

Doctor Gareau |

I will be out Fri-Sun, same story (but only 6 hour drives)

Hey guys, sorry I’ve been in and out a lot, RL’s been busy. Had several folks quit or get sick at work, so we’re all pulling overtime right now. And I’m working on putting together a module I’m going to be running for friends in a couple of weeks. I’ll try to get something in tonight or tomorrow.

![]() |

Sure. I'd be interested. Almost always interested in an AP.

Doctor Gareau |

I am probably a little full at the moment, but I hate to pass up an AP opportunity. This is one I have had no experience with, but the premise sounds very interesting.
Have you had some attrition?

![]() |

Ithariel, Nox, wanna' break this standstill? Kill or capture?
I'm all for taking out the guards even if Ques is not.
Speaking of Ques he seems a bit flat footed (i.e., I cannot move his icon on the map).

Ithariel Calenfaroth |

While I've wanted to do that AP for a while, I think I'm maxed out with the semester starting on campus...

Doctor Gareau |

Sure, no worries!
Yah, when I read that spell, it seemed very "witch doctor" to me... but this is the first time I used it!

Still unable to move Ques. He is supposed to be next to Grey. I cannot see what is in front of him so I cannot figure out what it is possible to do.

![]() |

I think he is stuck on the pillar. I am able to select the icon and even rotate it, but it is anchored in place.

GM Nayr |

Doc - there's still a dude in the swarm, dying a horrible death. Wanna' keep the swarm there till he's dead? I'll have to dig a bit deeper if you want it to attack the lady, as it'd have to move over you, Lief, and Ithariel to get there.
Unfortunately, the swarm kind of bites all creatures in its path, unless I'm mistaken:
You vomit forth a swarm of spiders that attacks all other creatures within its area

Doctor Gareau |

Keep it where it is. I agree - it does not only attack one's enemies, so best to keep it from my friends!

Doctor Gareau |

I am going to be offline until Monday. Feel free to bot me as you see fit.

Lief Stoutspear |

Sorry for the delay- things have gotten busy at work with the holidays and end of year paperwork and whatnot (and also I got caught up in a big game of axis and allies over the weekend). I should be posting in all my games at some point later today.

*wince*
That game hates me.

Lol. We were playing with low-luck rules (you get the statistical average number of hits for all your units and then just roll a single die to see if your leftover fraction gets an extra hit), but in a close battle the dice really can still screw you.

![]() |

oooh. Never heard of low luck rules. Sounds like just the thing for me. Nothing as frustrating as losing a battle badly that you should have won easily. Over and over again.

Lief Stoutspear |

I've been there, that's exactly why I like those rules.
There's still some element of luck involved- in the last game when Japan tried to take the Philippines they missed a 4 on their extra die in the first round and the US made their 2, then in the second round the US hit on another 2 (which they wouldn't have even gotten to roll if the 4 had hit) and they ended up both wiping each other out (so Japan couldn't actually claim it). That's nothing like some of the crazy things I've seen in normal games though- in one game I played in (but not as either side of this battle), Germany launched a huge attack on Russia that should have probably sacked Moscow but the Russian player hit four 1s on six AA shots and then in the first round Germany hit zero 1s on their 12-13 infantry attacks; it turned into a decisive Russian victory.
I had so much fun playing again, after kind of a long break, that I was thinking about seeing if there were people on the forums who would want to play a PbP axis and allies but 1) it seems kind of unlikely that there would be enough interested people who have the same edition I do and enough space to leave the board set up for days or weeks while we play through a game (and the commitment needed to move everyone else's pieces on your board after their turns so that you could keep track of where everything is), and 2) I'm not sure Paizo would be thrilled about us using their forum to play a completely unrelated game that might be from one of their competitors.

I’m already cooking for the (American) holiday tomorrow. I’ll try to get posts up tomorrow night (if there’s anything to reply to) but I’m not likely to get anything up before then.

Lief Stoutspear |

My schedule from now until Christmas is pretty hectic. I’ll try to sneak in posts (mostly from my phone) whenever I can but feel free to bot me if necessary.

Who needs to do their action in gameplay right now?

![]() |

Is the game still active?

Doctor Gareau |

Hello all - sorry for going silent with no warning. My wife's mother passed away this weekend, and between that and the holiday season, we are scrambling to get everything in order. I am posting this same note to all of my groups, so some of you will likely see it more than once.
I suspect I won't be only until after Christmas, and maybe not even until after the new year. I will try to catch up on games where I can, but I don't expect to be very successful. If I am a player, please feel free to bot me or drop me as needed. If you bot me, all resources are available to you - I am not worried.
For those I am running, I certainly won't me able to organize combat as I will be remote. But feel free to continue RP if available and I can answer questions as I get a chance.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, and for those of you that celebrate, Hanukkah Sameach, Happy Kwanzaa, and Merry Christmas!

GM Nayr |

It's with a heavy heart that I have to say I'm going to let this one go. Real life now has me by the butters, and priorities have substantially changed. I'm very sorry to waste anyone's time, but hope you enjoyed playing a bit while we could. Thanks to everyone for playing!
Doc, I'm very sorry for your, and your wife's loss.

Ithariel Calenfaroth |

@GM - thank you for everything on this game. Be well, and thanks for giving us some fun. See you around!

![]() |

Yep, thanks for the fun while it lasted.

Lief Stoutspear |

Thanks, GM. If you see this, could you please switch this game to inactive in a few days, just so it isn't cluttering our gameplay tabs?

Doctor Gareau |

Yes, I totally get it. Thanks for running it, and I hope life treats you better in the near future!
