I'll take the breastplate, even though it'll hamper my stealth and stuff, but seems like I'll need to be more resilient so the armor boost will be nice.
Sell off leather lamellar which should donate 30GP back into the party fund.

As nice as having cold iron sling bullets would be, with only a +1 ranged, they would likely be a waste. Might be worth picking up a few CLWs though.
Also, I'm assuming that, if we haven't already, that we'll have time to prepare our spells before heading out.

Loot sale value:
Total: ~430 gp
Each person then gets 108 plus change to buy with. Provided quest gets his wish list he will have...
Leaving him with 2 gp plus change.
Permission to apply to character sheet?

I was under the impression some of that was someone's heirlooms. Not that Ana would care. She'll buy whatever crossbow she can afford and has proficiency for...
GM Nayr
It's safe to assume that it all belonged to Lady Argentea, since most of it was in her wagons. So, yes, you're selling her possessions for your own gain;) I'm fine with that, of course, if you are. One way to look at it is that it's for the "greater good" as it would be funding her potential rescue.
There was also the three courtier's outfits that were 30 GP each.

Actual value of spoil division = 107.875
Garland Laakerntzen
4 scrolls of CLW (100 gp)
20 cold iron sling bullets (4 sp)
She's leaving the remaining normal sling bullets behind and her dagger.
Anadorita Garimos
Heavy crossbow (50 gp)
30 bolts (3 gp)
Ana will give the rest to her parents in lieu of alcohol.

Guys, some rules I'd like to implement if you're cool with it:
1. I'd like to use some variant crit rules; does anyone have a good generator they can recommend for fumbles and crits? I know they have decks for them, but I was looking for something online.
2. Crit hits that are not confirmed are MAX damage
3. Crit fumbles when shooting into melee with a ranged attack could hit your ally...just need to figure out the percentile for that
Anadorita Garimos
1: Try HERE - does hits and fumbles...
2: Sure!
3: Divide opponents equally. If three are fighting/adjacent then give them 1,2,3 on a d3?

Normally I would like the idea, but with the way our luck is going I have a really bad feeling about this. Then again things seem to be turning around with two solid shots by Arasiel, a nicely tossed alchy and a max on the CLW roll.
In any case, enough about rolls. It all evens out in the end and crits and fumbles make for good stories.
GM Nayr
Indeed, that's what I was hoping for Ques - a bit more flavor on the attacks. Could be really cool; think if a BBEG has a crit fumble and is sickened, or blinded for a round...fun RP, that.
And, I really thought you should be rewarded for a crit, even if you don't confirm. I remember when I started playing maybe 30 yrs ago, a crit was a crit and that was it.
Anadorita Garimos
I give it 50/50 even these guys will turn out bad and try to kill us...
Ques Stone

I'd give it a 75% chance they are bad, though Ques is won over.
Garland Laakerntzen
I may have played portions on this book that were highly modified. So I have an idea of what is going on here, but am not sure that what I know is what is real. This is real Inception territory for me. I'm just waiting for the top to topple.
Anadorita Garimos
That's true Arsiel. Some of the trees haven't attacked us yet.
Anadorita Garimos
You don't need to explain nothin' to me GM! But thanx...
Ques Stone

Yea! We could sure use some firepower.

Welcome Ouachitonian! I don’t care about party balance/roles etc, my
Only preference is for someone who isn’t a loner, or has a difficult backstory that makes them unable to relate. Play whatever class/race/concept that works for you - we’ll all enjoy that much more I’m sure!

We are certainly having fun with our characters. We got a slayer, summoner, witch, and kineticist if that helps you make a decision.
Garland Laakerntzen
I think the only thing that we did as a group was to go with non standard races. But even that is up to you. We've got a 2 fetchlings, a ganzi, and a changeling.
Garland Laakerntzen
We must be getting pretty close to leveling. Any things we should keep in mind when that happens?
GM Nayr
Right, and I think that was largely due to the cold resistance, which has been really useful.
You are, yes...we're going with milestones and, hint...the milestone is a big wooden structure. Not really, for HP - use half of max + 1 or you can roll. Or...you can roll and then just take half of max + 1 if it's better.
Anadorita Garimos
B-but...let’s hope we can now hit the broad side of a barn...Anyone see one anywhere? Hang on, what’s that small structure to the east - the jakes?
Grod the Cunning
Alright, this is Ouachitonian. I haven't finished the fluff side yet, but the crunch is essentially done. Grod is a Bloodrager, Arcane bloodline, Spelleater/Untouchable archetypes. Not as strong as some, given that he loses spellcasting, but the concept I'm going for is that he's been trained and warded since birth to combat those sneaky, untrustworthy caster types. That he's essentially lost his own casting is a small price to pay. He'd think, anyway. The name comes from his 2 INT. Definitely smart for a half-orc, and not that I'm recycling this alias. Definitely not. The broad outline of the fluff is that he's from the half-orc dominated town of Averaka in the Land of the Linnorm Kings, and came south hoping to join the Ulfen Guard, but got a bit sidetracked.
Should I go ahead make him level 2, since it sounds like the group will level before finding him?
