"Hmm, alright then!" Korl cracks his knuckles and starts beating on the remaining cluster

+2 to the attacks if aid another works for attacks. Including Get 'em in the rolls.

I do not know the Starfinder rules, have to find them, but I imagine your 0 turns into 1 non lethal damage

Goggles tries to help, and starts out doing so, but then gets all mixed up and points his laser all over.
No Aid Another for attack rolls, but Harrying Fire (you have to hit AC 15 ; so your first one gives a +2)

So this helps Cashara, who does not need it... to hit!

Korl is a bit silly, and he follows Gogglez laser, meaning he hit beside twice, before giving up and just doing his own thing, and hurting.

Hole Puncher tries to take a careful shot at the correct spot as well.

Hole Puncher spins around, quite proud, and sends a little message in binary:

You have managed to cripple and have effectively lobotomized Big Mina, ensuring it never grows much larger but not killing it!

You finish up here, exploring, taking notes or such... and then safely return to the surface, where you take your vehicles back to the research station.

Of course, Pyksi is driving in circles around the buggy.
But Hole Puncher just beeps back:
"I am the champion!"

You arrive at the camp, and jump out, very happy, when--

"What did you with my Big Sister?"
Little Mina is looking at you with her big eyes.
"I heard Big Mina is alive. Did you kill her?"

"Nope, nope, we just made sure she couldn't eat so much that she felt sick! We kind of put her on a diet yo!" Gogglez says back toLlittle Mina.

"No tears, little one. She just can't eat all your ice cream now."

Korl turns to the doctor "That'll work, doc? You can keep studying and the planet should be safe?"

"Yes, Big Mina can still have all the ice cream she wants but she shouldn't get much bigger. So she and the sloths can both be happy." Baròleg wonders how true his own words are... "Is there anything else we can assist with Doctor? Looks like you'll be getting supported for quite a while, as you have a very unique creature here."

Little Mina dances around: "I knew you wouldn't kill her! ICE CREAM!"

Dr. Motressi thanks you, great Starfinders, for all you have done, and expresses
sympathy for the difficult decision you were confronted with.
"I support your difficult choice."

Dr. Motressi and Little Mina bid you goodbye, and the team can return to Absalom Station.
Your journey through the Drift takes only 4 days.

Once you arrive, you are contacted by Fitch, who asks you for a report.
Fitch is startled by the revelation that a massive geological feature turned out to be a single living creature.
“I didn’t think this was going to be a first contact mission when I asked you to take it,” Fitch admits. “It sounds like you all did the best you could in a really difficult situation. The Wayfinders will back you up on this, don’t worry.
I thank you for all you have done and I promise to assign you future missions to discover alien life-forms and explore unknown regions of space!”

She had run a self diagnostic on the way back. She did seem to be please after the first 2 days in the drift after that.
