Map of current fight
This is a Warhammer 40K story set on the world of Skyfall, where 5,000 years ago demons and angels warred in the heavens and broke the sky. Now pieces of that war rain down upon the land and you are the Scavanger teams sent to reclaim those pieces of lost technology that might survive, from an area called the Skybreak.
This is your life and it's not an easy one, the Skybreak takes as much as it gives but it gave you hope of better times.
Always. Duncan just has not had much to add to most of the conversations. Can only force so much comedy relief into the grimdark before it starts becoming an issue. Do not worry boss, you have my gun... and my other gun... oh, and my third gun... and my knife... ooh ooh and fuzzy Val, fuzzy Val is good. But you can't keep fuzzy Val, fuzzy Val is mine.
I'm not sure if maybe I am surprised, so waiting to hear from the boss. If not surprised just tossing a grenade into the trench, so bot to speed up the process if you need to.
Thanks everyone, just wanted to gauge enthusiasm. This is the last leg of the campaign so if you have anything you want to wrap up with your characters send me a message and I'll try to work it in
I don't think it's a thing that you can attack with your mount and yourself but I like it so much that I'm going to make it part of the rules.
It just makes so much sense and make mounted combat so much for dynamic
Here's a rough ms paint.
Your in the green box and the red boxes are auto cannons.
The purple are heavy stubbers.
The two read lines are the trenches

orry all. I lost access to the internet at my residence (and I have no cell signal where I stay either) so have been unable to get any posts in as the job I've been working is physical labor. I'm hoping to have one of the above problems fixed sometime by August, visiting my folks atm so managed to get some time and access to post an update. Sorry for the sudden disappearance.
Ok this is taking too long. Its pretty clear to me by know that 40K combat doesn't work too well on play by post once the fights get big.
The rest of the fighting through the city will be handled in a more abstract way and we'll move onto the final scene of this campaign.
At this point I would just like to say that I've really enjoyed this campaign, the RP and commitment from all the players has been great.
I hope you've all enjoyed this as much as I have
sorry, I got busy, forgot to finish my post, and then didn't realize I wasn't getting updates for the thread. (I might have accidentally hit the x to remove them, but I'm unsure) will try to catch up over weekend.
@Duncan your auto cannon only has semi auto not full auto.
That said it only reduces you to two hits because you didn't take into account range or size (you got a +10 from each)
Here's the full rules for semi auto to save everyone digging though the book for them:
With precision and discipline, the active character fires a short,
controlled burst of semi-automatic gunfire at his enemies. The
attacker must be wielding a ranged weapon capable of semiautomatic
fire to take this Action. If the character has a pistol in
each hand, both capable of semi-automatic fire, he may fire both
with this Action (see Two-Weapon Fighting, page 252).
The attacker makes a Challenging (+0) Ballistic Skill
Test. A dice result of 94 to 00 indicates the weapon has
Jammed (see Weapon Jams, page 255). If he hits, he scores
a hit for the initial Degree of Success plus an additional hit
for every two additional Degrees of Success.
@Duncan, no problem
@Davien The wording of force fields is horribly vague so I'm going to rule it as it goes off if you miss your dodge or can't dodge
Force field rules:
A character may only benefit from one field at a time,
regardless of how many different fields he may have equipped.
When a character wearing an active field is attacked, roll
1d100. If the result is lower than or equal to the field’s
protection rating, the attack is nullified and has no effect
on the protected character
