"Not unless I grow wings."
Delea and Navasi both have elite hoverchairs, which say they have "propulsion system on par with that of a jetpack." If that's the case, we all might need your Aeon stone, but it could be tricky to pass it around. But at best, Obo is only going to be able to fight melee with her fist."

![]() |

Delea double moves, using the hoverchair to fly. (I've moved her 15 feet across the ground and will try to go up 15 feet also. That obviously will be less than 30 feet total movement (with 30 ft fly speed in normal gravity and a double move), and puts her 15 feet on the ground and 20 feet in height away from the master, which by Pythagorean theorem puts her 25 feet away from the master, so he is next turn in range for 30 ft range abilities.
If the rules for high gravity would allow moving a little closer, she would, just to lessen the odds of him moving out of range on his turn.

"I wonder if part of this test is to see if all of us can fly."
"Really? Cause I keep getting whacked in the head with a ruler for flying around. Just like elementary school...."

Navasi agent of SFS |

"Everything else here seems to be about balance and relaxing, maybe your head is not balanced. I know Obozaya's head must be out of balance after hitting the building with her head on the way down here. I wonder if how we fight matters."

![]() |

"My head's fine, I'd worry more about the structure. As long as we win with honor, it seems balanced to me"

cmlobue |

The Starfinders struggle to reach the hovering undead. Navasi does manage to hit it with a bolt of ice, and Cueball finally manages to hit with the whip.
The Master continues to heal and takes another hack at Cueball, then waves its hands. Suddenly, the gravity shifts.
Slam: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (7) + 21 = 28
Bludgeoning Damage: 2d10 + 15 ⇒ (7, 8) + 15 = 30
Down is now toward the right of the map. If you are not flying at the end of the round, you 'fall' 60 feet in that direction.
Round 6 - bolded may go
Navasi
Obozaya (-48 SP)
Delea
Cueball (-77 SP, -38 HP)
The Master (-78 HP)

![]() |

Delea uses healing channel, with the Harm Undead feat.
Cueball gets 6d8 ⇒ (8, 2, 3, 3, 3, 6) = 25 HP back, and the Master (if undead) takes that amount of damage.
(resources used for this: 1 rp, one level 3 spell slot.)

cmlobue |

The Master is indeed undead.
Will Save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
And was decidedly not expecting that.
Obozaya (-48 SP)
Cueball (-77 SP, -13 HP)
The Master raises a single hand, restoring gravity to its normal function. "You have proven yourselves strong enough to carry our legacy into the future. You are the true inheritors of the past." It then begins to glow.
A few moments later, the Master’s body explodes into tiny glowing particles that flow rapidly throughout the fortress, seeping into the Starfinders’ bodies and every bit of exposed copi. All copi within the fortress springs to life, as does the mortar between the stone. The gravity fields the agents have been experiencing during their entire adventure slowly begin to cease, and they can feel the fortress’s rotation slow and eventually stop.
You have accomplished your primary mission here. Now you must decide if you want to go back to the area with the elementals or leave the fortress.

"We could try making a copaxi ghost head out of the rock and try to scare them away. Doubly irony for scaring air elementals with a ghost..." She hasn't solved a conundrum by being a scooby do villain YET but she's always hoped...

![]() |

"Sounds like it's up to us to ensure the future, might be good if we take care of the past and stop those air things from being disrespectful, I think a good fight would balance things out."

cmlobue |

Going to assume oyu take 10 minutes and Cueball and Obozaya spend stamina to regain SP. Any HP healing before you go back?

![]() |

Cueball would have mitigated that last shot, and gone from 7 stamina to 0 stam -23 HP,+20, carry the 2 .. screw it I'll just down the free healing serum The tracker thingy isn't taking her dr2 armor into account , and can't account for the mitigate since I don't always have the EP and reaction to fire it off)
3d8 ⇒ (4, 1, 8) = 13
"Alright good to go! OBo....BLUNT side of the tail. remember... "
-1 RP +all the stamina

cmlobue |

Back to >Slide 6<. What do you do?

![]() |

"I think operation moving target is a bust. We could try to play haunted house. If that doesn't work, we'll beat them up and take their stuff... I think we just got permission from the original owners to take it. "
Psyco kinetic hand whatevers left of the masters skull/ what we can carve into a replica and try to scare them out. Or cueball will change her vote to beating them up and taking their stuff. As is tradition.

cmlobue |

There's nothing physical left from your encounter with the Master, and you're not sure how to get the sparklies out, even if you were able to. If you want to spend some time doing arts and crafts, you're welcome to. For their part, the elementals seem to be deliberately ignoring anything you do.

Navasi agent of SFS |

"How about I run in, yell Get ’Em and Cuebal and Obozaya follow doing what they do best, Delea can come after us to patch us up, or do her own flavor wrecking."

![]() |

"I'll do what I can."
GM, does Delea know whether elementals are immune to mind effecting spells?
I'll roll mysticism in cast that's relevant for what I'm asking.
mysticism: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (9) + 18 = 27

cmlobue |

Delea knows that air elementals are elementals with the air, elemental and extraplanar subtypes. They have no immunities other than those common to elementals - which does not include mind-affecting. 2 more questions.
It seems like combat is inevitable. Let's see who starts it.
”Cueball Initiative”: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
”Obozaya Initiative”: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
”Navasi Initiative”: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
”Blue Initiative”: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
”Red Initiative”: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Although the somatogravitic illusions have stopped, this chamber has a different type of unusual gravity - the strength of gravity is normal, but the direction of 'down' continues to shift.
1d6 ⇒ 4
Gravity is now toward the east.
Round 1 - bolded may go
Obozaya
Navasi
Delea

is the +10 at the gate is the walkway over the entrance, we can normally walk under
"The wind is against us, I don't think I can even make it through the gate, get ready for them."
Navasi holds action, Improved Get ’Em at the first available target.
Navasi yells Get ’Em (first target) as she shoots at it.
frostbite-class zero pistol : 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 10 + 2 = 16

Obozaya follows Navasi and holds an action, waiting for a target
autotarget rifle : 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 12 + 2 = 23
Damage P: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

cmlobue |

There is a gateway you can walk under, but then you will be inside the building, and the enemies are on the outside.

Navasi agent of SFS |

So they're not coming at us where we are either. I think the strange gravity is easier to understand if we are flying. If we are on the ground going against gravity, that would? It's like climbing the side of a building? Or we could fly along the ground?
So if the gravity is just strange inside the chamber, I should redo my turn because I wouldn't know that until I enter. I'll repost my turns, and you can decide which to use.
Navasi moves forward, seeing the elementals yells "Get ’Em" red, as she fires her gun at the elemental
her allies gain a +2 morale bonus to attack rolls
frostbite-class zero pistol : 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 10 + 2 = 27

Obozaya moves in and fires her scattergun at red
snub scattergun : 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 12 + 2 = 16
Damage P: 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

cmlobue |

They will probably come at you when it is their turn. The two on the map are clearly hostile. Others not shown are just going about their business.
Right now, the side of the building is the ceiling based on the current gravity, so "up" gets you into the courtyard.

Navasi agent of SFS |

I started counting gravity shifts once we were in the courtyard and outside the building. If it starts at the +1,0 then Navasi can't make it out of the building, and Obozaya is where Navasi is now. This is why my original idea was to hold actions if they attacked while waiting for gravity, which allowed all of us to get through the building and into the courtyard. I already got dice rolls for my actions, feel free to adjust my position if needed to keep the game going. I'm getting my AC replaced tomorrow, so might not be able to post tomorrow until the work is done.

cmlobue |

Navasi flies to the west and calls out the elemental to the south. She nails it with a bold of cold. The enemy takes advantage of both of them being in the air to avoid a bit of the damage.
Obozaya also comes in, but her shot scatters past the creature harmlessly.
Delea pushes her mind into the same creature's.
Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Elemental brains are weird.
The elemental to the north transforms into a whirlwind and flies over Navasi and Delea.

It also tries to suck them into its vortex.

cmlobue |

Cueball does in fact whack and elemental.
The other enemy already has Obozaya pinned down, so slams a fist made of solidified air into her.

This round cueball will delay until after red.
Not just because she wants to see what riding the whirlwind is like. But partially because she wants to see what riding the whirlwinid is like....
(it will also get us going in one batch )

Navasi agent of SFS |

Navasi moves 15 feet north,(risking an AoO,) then, when out of melee range, yells "Get ’Em" blue, as she fires her gun at the elemental.

Sorry, Obozaya, pinned down was just meant as flavor for being flanked. You have your full suite of actions.
Delea gets slammed by the wind, but keeps her feet. She tries once more to hurt the enemy's brain.

Obo hacks at the blue-tinged elemental.
That creature moves slightly south and tries to pick up Delea and Obo.
Bludgeoning Damage: 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
