Totally haven't been keeping up with this,.. can someone fill in?
Isaiah's main issue is with Rogue Shards of the Iron Federation... That's something I'm planning on working in. Unfortunately not as quickly as I would have liked.
There's also the destruction of the Somnambulist that is a mystery that I've intended for Isaiah to explore/come back to bite him at some point. ;-)
Yeah, he's curious what happened to the Somnambulist. For short term there's also retrieving his bits from Spectre. And for consistency, Avoiding Love/Lust triangles (so that everyone has at least one of those as an issue somehow).
Isaiah is also keeping tabs on the Dusk/Horizon/etc. time mess.

When last we stayed at Blockbuster, Kayla, Mattie, Kylie, Holly, and Ness had a kind of dormitory situation, but now that it's just a shared room with a girl she's seeing but not quite 'with,' she'll probably just be bunking on the couch in a telekinetic cocoon.
Then after the drone beeps at her for being out of line of sight, a much bigger cocoon...

While we're holding, I've been trying to figure out what Psyche's been seeing of the dreams. She's been picking up on their ripple effects once everyone's actually wandering around and doing and feeling things, but I don't think she's specifically seen one.
Would it enhance or detract from your scene if Psyche left a shard of herself in Mattie's head to keep an eye out for strange dreams? She always could have left the shard and had it find nothing too if the dreams are on a different wavelength.
I will say for Kayla’s side of things, if you tried to peek inside, you’d either get stark nothingness, or pain. Dunno which at the moment.
Sure and then an Unleash Roll to push in/through it if the results would be interesting, but I'm mainly trying to get a sense of if Scorch wants a scene partner :-p

Sure thing. Thinking on it, Kylie'd have left a shard in either way (unless Mattie asked her not to). The real question is if she just feels Mattie stirring and freaking out but can't see the dream, or if Mattie's her way in...
I’m kinda just posting my dreams contents for comic book style exposition and foreshadowing. So I’m kinda leaning towards feeling the freaking out but unable to see or figure out why.
I'd agree with the freaking out but unable to see why,... I think Mattie doesn't really remember the details of the dream but knows something's wrong, and can sense that something's awry through her link with Praetoria... Psyche's perception would be another step removed so possibly less clear still, although she may have a better idea than Mattie about what it might mean because she's got more experience in this kind've thing?
The lack of memory is why I've been writing Psyche as being very personally hazy on what exactly you two keep doing to each other :-p

Just as an FYI: if you guys do go over to the Tower as you are describing, you would be stopped by security as well as find your key card access has already been revoked. If you push the issue, someone from the family would eventually come and see what the commotion is about.
That last failure was just enough to let Psyche select the Bull's Heart.

Also not sure what Shin can do here that wouldn't be basically breaking and entering for the Tower if Kayla's not answering their calls. If Mattie rushes ahead, then of course Shin will follow her, but he's not typically the type to break the law to get to Kayla.
Plan at this stage is to try to get entry normally but we'll see what happens if that fails...(as it, no doubt, will).

I know that Judge might not have meant that he actually scanned Kayla, but it would never occur to Kylie hearing that a telepath checked on someone who was sleeping, that they might have just looked and seen that she was sleeping, so she's content for now.

The Iron Federation's memories of the event they refer to as The Collapse are somewhat limited; much was destroyed in the terrible conflict. They do know, however, that at least toward the end The Collapse consisted of a number of vicious civil wars fought between broken pieces of the First Federation. How it descended to such when the First seemed to be a long-lived, stable civilization is a question many minds continue to seek the answer to, in the hopes that it can be avoided next time. What is more clearly remembered are a few of the almighty weapons wielded in the final rounds of the Collapse Wars.
The Thirteen Apocalypses
One of the most powerful weapons of the Collapse Wars, the dreaded Apocalypse-class ships. Thirteen were built in all, and only one, Armageddon survives (Armageddon actually destroyed the other surviving Apocalypse-class vessels in the years after the War had ended, putting a stop to their endless, world-shattering conflict, before sending itself into a deep slumber). Each Apocalypse-class was a massive, planet-sized warship, built around a Singularity Core for power, and an Apocalypse Core, the most powerful reality-bending device ever built by the First. These were also it's most powerful weapons; standard engagement procedure for an Apocalypse-class consisted of little more than jumping into a system, then exposing all within reach to the inescapable gravitational pull of it's Singularity Core, while revoking any attempts to flee or damage it via the Apocalypse Core. They of course mounted vast arrays of other weaponry as well, but these often paled in comparison to simply crushing its opponents into hunks of neutronium, which were promptly dropped down massive hatches to feed the endless hunger of the two Cores. Even so-called gods and eldritch horrors were naught but food and fuel to an Apocalypse. Their only real foes were each other, or massive defense grids powered by Dyson Spheres (which they had been designed to breach).
The Ender Bomb
Little is known about the specifics of the device, but it is known that the Collapse Wars were finally brought to an end when one side or another deployed the horrific device that came to be known as the Ender Bomb. A terrible conglomeration of necromancy, technology, and who-knows-what else, all wrapped around a power source built out of a super-massive black hole, the Ender Bomb did one simple thing; it killed nearly EVERYTHING. Indiscriminate either by design or by a missed flaw, the Ender Bomb wiped out approximately 95% of ALL sentient life in the entire universe, and sent even many machines into long-lasting catatonia. It did, at least, finally end the war. As a small mercy, the Bomb targeted only sentient life; non sentient life forms suffered only a 5% casualty rate, and inorganic materials (barring sentient machines) were largely ignored.
Also, does the campaign need a poke?
I'm tantalizingly close to being moved in. I've been considering the next direction for the game, so bear with me for just a little while longer, and I'll be back.
In that case, perhaps one of us could run a little side event? Maybe just fight some goons trying to steal stuff?
I do have a possibility for something that would mostly be resolved in a single fight (barring lasting ominousness).

I read this and was completely floored by two things. First, the sheer inappropriateness of Isiah's behavior. Second, the realization that he actually said commnodes, not commodes.
Yeah, the communications, not the toilets. Bathrooms in Blockbuster are under surveillance too, but for completely different reasons (Isaiah is well aware of how the water pipes are a seldom-secured entry point).
And yes, Isaiah/Inquiry has rather different ideas of what constitutes privacy. He comes from a civilization where the buildings are 'alive', the walls have ears, and privacy is something you either have to intentionally seek out, or just go with the fact that the buildings have already seen it all and largely don't care about your personal life. The Iron Federation is largely descended from infrastructure, after all.
