Aack! Forgot/missed that nugget when I was reviewing everything for that monster post last night.
Well, just add a line where the judge explains that "no contest" doesn't change the fact that she'll still be found guilty, and everything else should be the same.

Sure sure. I'm entirely aware that it matters much more for Kylie's conception of this than the actual legal ramifications. (Though it at least gives her a flimsy shield if Dawkins et al. decided to go after civil charges...)

Prae - you might want to check your post before the edit mark. Unless Praetoria's flight has changed to be powered in a different way that is...

Ah, I was waiting for confirmation that the unleash had gone according to plan and that I'd established a link ::facepalm::
Rory, no, you can't resist that. Resisting is for when someone tries to shift labels by telling you who you are or how the world works; this is taking advantage of his influence to inflict a condition.
Didn't think I got to choose the condition inflicted, but in this case I'll choose Angry, because he's obviously ticking Rory off with his self-righteous bull. ^_^
Oh, and in the future (or now, if I haven't toned down enough), if I'm overstepping my bounds, just let me know. I do have a mild tendency to get carried away sometimes.

Man, I'm always wondering what to do in these situations that isn't going to make even more trouble for everyone. Though with so many moving pieces I can get lost as to who is where without visual aids.
I'm good at keeping positions and other spatial stuff straight, but I have a tendency to get overly excited when things get intense and go overboard with this looser game system. Still, if you need someone to remind you who's where doing what I'm usually pretty good at keeping that straight.

I'm going to say that time passes here at the conclusion of the debrief. I know the Legacy has a move when that happens, and there might be another active Playbook that I'm not thinking of that has one.
Only a few days will go by. Feel free to post what your characters are going to be doing in this time.
Oh, if you want to share a triumphant celebration moves, there's still time for that.
Well then, as usual it comes down to what the group feels regarding the following:
Whenever time passes, roll + Savior to see how the members of your legacy feel or react to your most recent exploits. Before rolling, ask the other players to answer these questions about your performance. Take -1 to the roll for each “no” answer:
- have you been upholding the traditions of your legacy?
- have you maintained the image of your legacy?
- have you made the other members of your legacy proud?
On a hit, one of them offers you meaningful encouragement, an opportunity, or an advantage. On a 7-9, another is upset with your most recent actions, and will make their displeasure known. On a miss, something you did stirred up the hornet’s nest—expect several members of your legacy to meddle with your life.

Hmm...
I'm really not sure on the traditions part - I feel like that hasn't been coming up as much.
I'd say that you have been maintaining the image of your legacy,
but that you haven't been making the rest of your legacy proud.

Frostbite and Scorch gain influence on each other (unless she changed playbooks before "time passes"). Since I have influence on her I will up her Freak and drop her Mundane.

Finally outside of the Thanksgiving/Retail explosion!
Today should be mostly paperwork, so I'll be around on roll20 etc. (though I'm still likely to be intermittently asynchronous - paperwork day or not, it's still December!)
Hi guys - sorry for the silence... I've been asked at short notice to help out with some fieldwork (catching lizards in remote Tasmania) - there's not a lot of reception and the days are long (and the nights involve much alcohol). I'm now back at my desk, but will be heading out for 1 day trips right up until I head interstate for christmas so posting will still be slow (and I've got a lot of reading to come back up to speed) - should be able to get something up tomorrow.
Sounds like that was a great time! Glad you're back.
Posting is always rather hit-or-miss around the holidays. I'll have some travel, but also some days off where I can surf the boards and do some posting.
