Quick mechanical question - if I accept her words would I mark one or two conditions?
Oh, wow. I didn't even realize you also had a -2 to your Savior. I honestly have no idea. I'll check the rules tonight to see if there's any mention of this happening, but for now I'll let the dice decide:

I had a chance to sneak a peek at my book, looks like it is just one. Or would've been...

So as I join Praetoria in the "Removed from the Scene by the same roll that gives you an Advance" club. I think I'm going to pick up a few new Flares: Constructs, Shielding, and Move.
Please stand by, those of you who are out of the fight -- I want to get all the fights wrapped up and everyone back to deal with aftermath and fallout so bad. But there's still a few tense scenes that are too good to rush!

No worries!
I'm definitely using the telepathic excuse to completely bypass the idea of meta knowledge though 0:-)
Loving the rp, everyone, so feel free to keep it up! However, try not to advance the scene too much time-wise, since my next big post will have the adult heroes show up. But that'll have to wait until tonight when I've got my keyboard. This is comic book time, so dialogue can fill whole panels that take a second. So chat away, but I still want it to feel like the adults are arriving very shortly after the bad guys fled.
Also, I noticed you cleared a condition yourself when you comforted Ballista. That's not how comfort/support works unless you roll a 10 or higher. So you managed to clear a condition from Ballista (yes, villains also take and clear conditions!), but not one from yourself.

I hit a 12 from that roll, so that's why I chose to clear a condition. Unless there's something different about him using his Innocent Move for that comfort on an NPC?
Okay, sorry. I must have miscounted the number of posts back, because I could have swore you had a seven... But that was for your first provoke. My bad.

Dying over here at the hot mess going on inside Inquiry
Musings on plot twists:
Hoping soooo much that some stern disapproving hero walks in on that

I will say, this group in particular has more Potential Super Villain Red Flags than I'm used to.
The Chosen should definitely be some interesting long term adversaries...
Yeah. in my head, given her background and starting stats (D-1, F+2, Sv+1, Sp+2, M-1) I think Holly probably low-key is philosophically aligned with them, but strongly disagrees with their methods.
Don't worry, Holly. Inquiry/Isaiah knows it's real. It also knows that you don't know that Isaiah is actually a remotely controlled drone.
Though honestly, Isaiah/Inquiry dropped a few hints as to their nature in there. I'm wondering if Holly is going to start realizing that Inquiry seems to behave in a more organic fashion than Isaiah does, almost like it's more alive than the humanoid body.

Stalwart, I know I didn't really get to try my "Straight up creepin'" move. Not 100% clear if that's because it wasn't an appropriate time to try, or because I tried and missed (...and should therefore mark my 3rd potential).
When you comfort or support someone, roll+ Mundane. On a hit, they hear you: they mark potential, clear a condition, or shift Labels if they open up to you. On a 10+, you can also add a Team to the pool or clear a condition yourself.
Does the requirement "if they open up to you" apply only to shifting Labels, or is does it apply to marking potential and clearing a condition too? (i'd guess yes?). The wording's a little unclear.

If they open up to you applies to marking potential, clearing conditions and shifting labels. It even applies to the benefits you'd get for rolling really high - if they don't open up, the only thing that happens is they hear you. (Which can be important in some circumstances)
In case anyone is curious, I created Captain Stalwart in high school (along with most of these characters). He's the reason my handle has been Stalwart for the last twenty years or so.

Maybe I misread, but I thought Mosaic was trying to clear Hopeless by throwing herself into easy relief with her interactions with Isaiah, not Ordnance.
So if we feel there's a reason to mark conditions, even if there's not a mechanical one, we can add conditions to ourselves, correct? Shin's feeling pretty Guilty and Hopeless right now, just want to make sure that's appropriate to do for him.
I *think* so? I couldn't find anything in the rules about simply adding a condition because you feel like it's appropriate, but I can see allowing you to choose to take one anyway.

D'oh! How do you want to resolve our overlapping posts Praetoria?
I figure it can stand as is. You ripping and me punching the hatch gives it no hope, and with my Unleash roll I am sure I easily power through your Field to prevent depressurization.
