Yay! I'm ready to come back and see if I can still steer this crazy ship! I mean, in a few hours or so. Right now, let me just see if I've got a handle on where things are at the moment:
Isaiah and Mattie are currently in a heated debate about the merits of spying on friends and loved ones;
Shin and Kylie are currently on a date/not date and dealing with a small-time jewelry store robbery with a seizure thrown in for good measure;
Rory is in his room listening to country music and wallowing in post-break-up misery;
and Kayla is in Praetor Tower and absolutely nothing sinister is going on with her.
That about sum it up?
This is fine.

That's about right. It appears that Omnitool has fallen and is seizing up, while her partner in crime, Silvertongue, has given a directive that Shin is being forced to follow. We'll see what Psyche does for that.
Rory is in the area of the Mattie/Isaiah debate but hasn't said much.
Dangit, a traffic jam and a bit of cleanup at the old house that took way longer than I intended means my official return will be over the weekend.
This should let Shin and Psyche deal with Omnitool and Silvertongue. Are these even threats for the Engage move?
And Psyche, what were you Unleashing? Either he's a threat, and you have to directly engage him, or he's not a threat and there's no roll necessary (good roll, though). Unleashing isn't used to take down a foe.
I'm not trying to hurt him, or directly engage with him, so unleash felt more appropriate. I see it as analogous to webbing someone up, or when I lifted the crab-bots off the ground so they couldn't run around. They aren't hurt, they can fight through it, but I'm messing with him.
If you rule it Directly Engage, that's fine too, but it's more aggressive than I was intending this to be.

If anyone is going to ask, yes Isaiah/Inquiry did ensure the yield on that bomb shouldn't inflict any lethal collateral damage. You all might want to take cover a little just in case, though.
Just FYI, I have family visiting from interstate so posting will be a bit spotty / short over the next week or so, but I'll do my best to keep up.
Not sure if the node that attacked Shin and Kylie is still coming after them, or if Isaiah's provoke means that it flew off on its own. It'll determine Shin's next move.
It's still hovering, not making any hostile actions at this point.

Since I assume I will be last to arrive, due to not flying, if there is a point at which Apotheosis is thrown to the ground I would like to hit him with the Rhino, if we can work it into a Fastball Special even better. (Just throwing it out there.)

FYI: I’m still here, just trying to properly RP being knocked out. Been reading along eagerly though!
Just as a heads up, I will be leaving May 2nd to go pay homage at the House of Mouse and won’t be back home until May 12th, and then diving right back into work for a few days. Through those first 10 days, my posting may be slower than usual but I’ll still try to get a post in as able and needed.

Hmmm, you're correct in that what was originally supposed a weakness has been drifting away from that. At the start it was somewhat limiting that he had to stick close enough to his Refinery, and had the undercurrents that he had to make sure that nobody figured out what he was doing, but I have drifted gradually away from that.
Strange reactions might well be warranted, with the idea that using unprocessed energy is hazardous, keeping the Refinery tether in place.
Though I might add that part of what I figured would make this a weakness is that if any villains find out what Isaiah/Inquiry is running on, they'd kill to get access to the secrets of the technology. And the government might not be much better.

Bugger - I think i got a bit mixed up scanning through the posts (sorry).... I'll see if I can work you in to the next little bit somehow rather than retcon.... I'll give Prae a little while to add something if she wants then write you in and we can say that the dream, as posted so far, was dreamt prior to Kylie plugging in (so she didn't see it)... I have an idea how it might work (and introduce drama).
