Best of luck, and thanks for sticking with us to the Inn.

Ausk has no purchases to make. He is already at or close to WBL for 3rd so I suggest leaving him out of any loot.

Speaking of loot division, please cut Tina a portion of the loot even though she's not currently playing, because she may be coming back and deserves a cut for now. Deia can be left out, since she just abruptly disappeared and hasn't responded to me about why. If she comes back in time, I'll just do something else to even her out.

I'll have to check the loot list to see when the last update was, but it should be pretty easy to figure out once it's up to date. That's one thing I can still sort-of do at work, since they didn't block Google drive.
In other news, I've been seriously contemplating putting the game on hiatus. I haven't been able to dedicate as much time to it as I used to, because most of the time I was doing it during downtime at work. Now that I can't do that as much I'm having a hard time finding the time to keep things straight.
It isn't a definite yet, though, so don't freak out. I'll try to keep it going for as long as I can, but if I can't figure things out the game may just fall by the wayside.

We can wait and see what Unruly wants to do regarding the game. Deia leaving opened up that full caster divine spot really so I don't think Tina and Ausk's roles will overlap much.

Sorry, I've been meaning to double check he loot list, but I got a 3-week backlog of paperwork dumped on me the other day and haven't had time to clean it up any.

And, as Tina says she's coming back, I pop in with bad news. I'm going to be putting this campaign on indefinite hiatus for now.
I appreciate all of you playing and sticking around, but I've had other things come into my life that are taking up what time I have away from work, and my ability to actually do things with the game while at work has been crippled.
I'd like to continue, but I just can't find the time. I'm really sorry. Best of luck in your travels, everyone. I'll be putting the campaign as a whole to inactive sometime in the near future.

Would someone be willing to DM in Unruly's absence? Or perhaps we could find another one from the boards?
I could do it, as I'm running another WotR pbp here but I'm so damn interested in playing the AP.

It's unfortunate, but life happens. Thanks for running a great game, Unruly!
I'm interested in sticking with the game, but I don't know anyone who can DM. We could throw it to the boards - I've had a very good experience with that the last time it happened.

No takers on GMing? Kel? Rex?

Hmm. Let me see if I can borrow the first book. I don't have a whole lot of spare time, but a slow-paced game is better than no game at all.
If nothing else I can keep things going in hopes that Unruly eventually has the time to take over again.

I think it is only fair to tell you I'm throwing my hat into the following recruitment thread: Once More into the Breach - GMF's Wrath of the Righteous.
I am sorry that I may be undermining our efforts at revival. If we really decide we will be forging ahead without Unruly, then I will withdraw the other application.
Ausk the Heathenbane |
Bah, experience is overrated. I'd be more than willing to help with maps and such.
Kel the Guardsman |
I'm picking up the first book in this AP this weekend and I'm willing to run in during Unruly's absence.
I don't want to get too far afield because I'm really hoping he decides top pick the game back up again, so I'm thinking that I'd like to run a few Random Encounter style scenarios to explore the ruined city of Kanabres, and to get a bit more in depth into the lives of the people at Defender's Heart. There's a lot to do in this scenario and the AP normally blazes thought his section of the story.
So, here's my proposal- I'll run some things and keep the game alive. I will not be awarding XP. The challenges, and our level, will be stuck at their current state. If/whenever Unruly decides to come back, he can decide what the encounters I am are worth.
My strong suit as a GM is immersion. I am good at describing things in ways that draw people in. My main weakness is in organization (I've learned a lot from Unruly's handling of combat and will try to emulate it, but it is not something I feel like I do well). My scenarios ate likely to push role-playing and creative thinking over combat.
Also, my update schedule will be slower than Unruly's. Running a PBP takes more time than you might expect. I won't be able to update every day, so I'll need proactive players to fill the downtime with RP.
If that sounds like something that interests everyone, I will push the game forward on Sunday.

I've been accepted into the other game, so I am afraid Max is departing. I'm sorry I'm undermining your plans, but I don't believe it's realistic to continue on while hoping for Unruly to return. Still, I hope things work out, either with Unruly or another GM.
