Well, it looks like only the Haste attack hits -- but yeah: he's raging and a little excited, so he'll go to town on the corpse...

The loot is gathered and the heroes move to the rune stones and teleport out.

So how did it go? I am happy to report that the wine tasting that I was judging was a smashing success, and I was rewarded handsomely for it.

"Messy place. Not as bad as the moon, but fairly unpleasant. I could use a decent drink. Or maybe a proper all out binge for a week. "

Well you are in luck, I just happened to accidentally fill my haversack here with a few cases of the winner.

Vuvu pulls out a bottle of wine and a nice goblet and puts it on the table in front of Vars.

Oh the moon. That was awful. Remind me not to die again.

Vars will happily grab up the goblet and start sipping away at the wine. He looks eager to gulp it down, but that would not be becoming of a Duke, so he restrains himself.

"Yeah, almost died in this bloody ice cave. Were it not for doughty Darvik here, I surely would have. Good to be traveling with you again old friend. "

Must be nice having a cleric around. I can't remember the last time I got to travel with one. But in honor of him being here, I have something for him as well.

Vuvu reaches under the table and pulls out a pony keg. This may or may not have been liberated from the personal cellar of Drendel Draeng.

"Nice to see you Vuvu! You missed out on a good one.. We battled a freaking Shoggoth!"

Well as near as I can figure, if he went mad he would actually go sane.

I was responsible for sending some rookies into the Hao Jin Tapestry while you were gone. They went in, managed to do the basics I asked, then found out the entire temple was taken over by a demon cult. They managed to get one of their number killed by some suicide haunt, so they packed up and ran away. They left tons of loot behind too. All in all pretty embarrassing for them.

totally true, ran a game last week and that happened. Was hilarious. Once someone died they all lost their nerve and ran.

Are you kidding! I landed so many women with my retellings of that. Technically they did what the Decimverate asked so they got a tongue lashing and are being sent on something else ample. I hope they mess that up too.
