Nah, beat stick is a generic term for any melee weapon. I don't know that Vars has used anything but his falcata or a bow in 16 levels- oh once I had to use a piton as a dagger because I was swallowed and forgot to carry a knife.

Although Duhwoo loves a good fight, he stills feels the mission is the highest priority: if we were to all get killed fighting some kind of spawn of rovagug or something, the torc could fall into somebody else's hands. Even though we got all prepared and stuff, he thinks we should beam out and deliver the torc.

If we can teleport back, then we should return to battle the big icky -- after the mission is done. We should do that as a public service: leaving a big nasty for somebody else to stumble upon is a safety issue...
