Seeing that a big chaos is ensuing, M'baba gathers up his courage and charges forward until he flanks the purple silverfish with Za Minyahil.

M'Baba races around the room the other direction, heedless of the now-enemy scrits, and gets behind Purple Silverfish hoping to quickly dispose of that pest.

Meanwhile, Ikto falls prone this time in the slippery goo covering the floor, and Za Minyahil is able to fight through any more ill effects from the poisonous touch of the scrit.

The purple silverfish feels the approach of M'Baba and steps to the side, turning to take a bite of the newcomer. Not expecting a rapid response, M'baba is caught and bit the first time for mild damage, but easily avoids a second bite.

M'Baba takes 4hp and is at 22/26hp remaining. Iovia is up now.

Iovia once more calls upon the power of her gods, and much like in the fight with the swarm, the call is answered by a pride of lions that attack some of the enemies.

She then conjures a magical shield in front of herself.

Iovia conjures a swarm of lions that slashes suddenly at a number of foes in the room. Blue takes the full brunt, but the silverfish and the other nearby scrit also take some damage.

Orange and Red Scrit also leap down and enter the fray, one attacking Iovia, who defends herself with magical shield, and other hitting M'baba who takes another minor wound, but the ink mess on the end of the finger is toxic, and poison is a concern.

Ikto is able to stand and slowly get out of the greasy pool without slipping again. He raises his shield to defend if the bugs or the gremlins attack him next.

Za Minyahil casts Ignition on their weapon and attacks Red Scrit with a spellstrike. The strike misses badly, and the magus spins up their magical shield as a follow up

Green Scrit casts more greasy goo on the floor under the feet of Iovia and Za Minyahil. Both need extra good balance to keep from falling prone.

Blue Scrit comes down from atop the bookshelves to attack Ikto with its ink-stained finger, but hte druid is able to use his shield to ward off the attack.

White Silverfish bites at Ikto as well, and this time the shield doesn't stop the attacks, though it does block some of the damage. A pair of chomps cause serious damage to Ikto.

M'Baba moves away from the fighting, feeling the poison burn him from the inside, and although its a fairly weak venom, he can't quite make it stop. He hides though takins shelter from any of the foes in the library.

Purple Silverfish approaches Za Minyahil and takes a bite or two at the ghoran. One of the bites would hit the magus, but the magical shield takes most of the bite damage before bursting. Za Minyahil gets only a scratch.

ZM takes 1hp dmg, and is at 26/30. M'Baba gets 1hp more of poison damage and is at 16/26 and still needs a DC14 Fort or take more poison damage. He is still also sickened by the poison. Iovia is up now, but starts her action prone in the grease.

M'Baba is able to fight off the harmful effects of the poison though he does remain sick to his stomach and a bit dizzy for a moment or two longer.

Iovia, from her prone position, casts divine healing on the very injured Ikto, and restores much of his ability to stay in the fight. She then successfully stands in the slippery goo.

Orange Scrit moves around the library after M'Baba how has taken cover behind the bookshelves. The scrit fails to see M'Baba, and spends some time looking for him, rather than making further attacks.

Red Scrit laughs at the slip and fall antics of Iovia and then turns to attack Za Minyahil from behind. The stab works, and with their shield already broken, the ghoran takes all the damage, including potentially poisoning.

Ikto gasps with relief, "My thanks, Iovia. Hang on a bit longer and maybe i can at least take one foe down" He focuses and... a storm engulfs that blasted Silverfish, the druid holds his already battered shield up after.

On white Silverfish. Tempest surge You surround a foe in a swirling storm of violent winds, roiling clouds, and crackling lightning. The storm deals 1d12 electricity damage to the target with a basic Reflex save (18). On a failure, the target also is clumsy 2 for 1 round. 1d12 ⇒ 8

Ikto casts his focus spell creating an indoor thunderstorm that momentarily crashes all around the White Silverfish. The hapless insect is buffeted by wind and hail taking all the damage. It remains standing after the effect passes, but it seriously hurt.

Za Minyahil fights through the poison from the scrit's ink-stained finger, and then continues their fight against the other silverfish, but this time the fiery spellstrike misses and no damage is dealt.

Green Scrit steps into an area NOT covered by the greasy goo, and makes a pointy fingered strike at Iovia but the attack misses.

White Silverfish continues to attack Ikto even after the tempest struck. One lunging bite misses, and the other appears to be a hit, but Ikto interposes his shield just in the nick of time, and avoids any damage.

Blue Scrit also attacks Ikto, who has used his shield block. The gremlins very dirty finger scores a hit, for minimal damage, but the poison is still a risk.

Ikto takes 3hp dmg and is at 16/24. He needs a DC14 Fort vs Poison. M'Baba who is still sickened is up now.

I added this so hope it applies.Your affinity for the natural world grants you protection against some of its dangers. You gain poison resistance equal to half your level, and you gain a +1 status bonus to saving throws against poisons.

It applies, and Ikto is safe from the poison.

Spout is an AoE 5' cube. If you target Blue Skrit, you also get Green Skrit, White Silvervise, and Ikto. If you target the bookshelf just south of Blue Skrit, you get all three of the above enemies, and Red Skrit, and no friendlies. In this case, with the low damage roll, it doesn't really matter. But it could, in the future.

Will just assume you aim as Iovia indicates for this turn.

Iovia flings books from the shelves and directs them into the weak White Silverfish, killing this insect. She stands her magical shield up once again ready for any counter attacks.

Orange Scrit follows M'baba and makes a stabbing attack on the fellow. None of the attacks land however.

Red Scrit attacks Za Minyahil from behind, getting a slight bonus from flanking. One of the strikes hits home, and Za Minyahil takes more damage, and is again exposed to poison touch.

Keeping her magical shield in place, Iovia imbues Za Minyahil with healing energy which brings back wilted leaves and closes wounds in the ghoran's unusual anatomy.

Ikto's fiery spell hits the scrit, consuming him in a fiery inferno. The other scrits look quite worried at this turn of events.

Za Minyahil shifts out of the grease and removes themselves from being flanked by the scrits. He then casts Electric Arc, sending the jolt of electricity at the silverfish and also Red Scrit. The blast hits the insect first doing serious damage, and then arcs away to Red, causing just minor wounds.

Green Scrit steps over to Ikto and makes a poking attack with its inked stained finger, but the new attack misses.

M'Baba is up now.
