"So, we are waiting on you.... boss." He says to Desseer looking around to see if anyone is paying attention to them.

Thank you!
Thorin looked at the demon and paused for a moment to consider. Deciding to err on the side of caution he replied ”To the guild.” It seemed prudent to ensure that he had all of the information needed for the mission ahead.
More than happy to handle this in whatever way works best for the story
Arthur is at the teleportation room waiting for you, working on crafting a magical item, a glowing tile of some sort. He finishes up and looks up, "Ah good Thorin. Dominique and Domanyku have not returned. Would you like to go work with them or have them meet you in Cinder. The city our loose allies have been heading to from Drother. Dominique and you will continue to foster good relations with them and report back any ways you think would be best for our use. They are presently the only other super power in this world. You haven't met any threats yet, have you?"
Please ask all the questions you might need. We can answer them in spoilers as you catch up to the others in real time. Personal Messeges or spoilers work. The only problem with spoilers is that others do read them. But those who do have not been using it as meta knowledge which I have appreciated immensely.

"Well, if you ladies are in danger, why don't you walk with me for a bit? Myself and my compatriot here can keep you safe."
Thorin Spellsplitter
The dwarf walked forward and shook Arthur’s hand in a firm handshake. ”Good to see you too.” He said warmly, his voice sounding like stone grinding against stone. I’d go work with them if it’s all the same. But…what I need to know is what they’ve been up to, and what they’re trying to do. It’ll be hard to get their trust if I don’t know their wants.”[/b]
Kristrille Iris
She happily states, "Excellent, we appreciate your consideration!"
Arthur Stonefire
Dominique Silverstone
Desseer Arnalc
'Absolutely Ink. I don't have any specific plans for Craterlord Zar in the slums. Though I don't know much, I have doubts that when craziness breaks out, the slums will participate significantly.'
Meanwhile, Desseer leads the group toward the Guild Quarter.
"Have you ladies encountered anything fun or interesting since getting here?"
Thorin Spellsplitter
While uncomfortable; he reciprocated. ”Yeah. An adventurer. I can do that.” And I assume that we keep who we are and any allegiances hidden? I’d prefer to at least use my name… but I’ll follow your lead.”[/b]
Kristrille Iris
"No not particularly, they had us cooped up for the most part." She relays.
Dominique Silverstone
Thorin Spellsplitter
”Honesty, then.” Thorin said. ”Nothing real is built on lies.” Then, with the slightest smile, he added ”And it will get hard to explain being…ah…ahead of the adventurer curve.” With a slight shrug he said ”I doubt they’re stupid. They would eventually figure it out, and the sense of betrayal would undo anything diplomatic.”
It was the strangest thing. Ever since he had become trapped…no, part of…this world, he had felt himself slowly changing. Mentally, that was. Becoming more stoic. More straight forward. As a human he had not been so averse to falsehoods, but that had been slowly but surely changing. And it wasn’t a change that he was particularly interested in fighting.
Myriana
Myriana was pleased at the way that Iris played along with her and smiled happily when she mentioned to him she would "stop pretending" Myriana purred happily as she moved close and rubbed her head against Iri's arm and said happily, "It has been so boring behaving anyad being unable to be ravished by Mistress nya, all to keep things from getting back to her father."
Grinning wickedly at Deseer, Myriana added, "Please take us somewhere we can have fun Masters, this cooped up and guarded is so boring nya."
As they walked and spoke of what they had been up to Myriana agreed with most of Iris' statements and said, "Yeah nya, it's beenya boring nya. The onyaly excitement was the spontanyaeous riot nya."
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer smiles warmly to Myriana, "My dear, there are a couple things to do before we can unleash and just have fun. First, is to incite the less sane Craterlords into extreme action. The second is to find the people we came to save and get them to a safe spot. I will be inciting the one that seems the least stable. That will provoke action from the Guild District. I don't currently have plans for the Industrial Ward. Stirring up trouble there should be fine, especially if whoever stirs only aims for middle ranked folks under the Craterlord. Same goes for the Market District. Don't go out of your way to kill Craterlords, but if it is easy, go for it. Regardless, if you take action, claim to be from 'the Butcher'. Anyone want to dibs anything?"
Ink the Spot
"I can go anywhere and be anyone. As for starting an intergang war. I could poke a few bears when I find one." He pauses in speech as he watches and scans.
" Though a few public figures dying without a real culprit can tip the tenious truce in the direction we want. As for the slums, I could takes care of the mastermind, Maybe set some of my operatives in here to build up the church. The Poor and disenfranchised make great church fodder." He says still in the guise of one of the Craterlords goons.
Desseer Arnalc
"Can you take care of the slums Craterlord for me then? No need to do any middle men. Meet back at the place I told you of. Myriana, can you and Iris cause some ruckus in the Industrial Ward? John, find the people we need to save. Get Jav to help identify them. And tell the big one that my order is for him to protect that house. All, if you run into any issues or are in danger, go to the house."
Warlord John Morgrave Sorbin
|
He nods in agreement, "Iris and Myrianna, come with me to the house so you know where it is located. Then you can go have fun in the industrial ward." He leads them to the house, then, taking Jav’Urk with him, he goes and looks for her missing allies.

A loud flapping could be heard followed by a even louder crunch as the large creature lands in the courtyard of the guild house. His weight again cracking the floor. Twin axes by his side, he stretches his wings out fully before retracting them back in, as he looks around
"Good to be back, he looks at each of his axes, Wrack and Ruin as they were named "Glad to have you two by my side, it was good to be out, but I guess back to the business at hand. Let's go find Lillend. Have her catch us up what's been going on." as he makes his way to the more administrative area of the guild, looking for her
Inennarra
Lillend, Inennarra, and many of the other subordinates can be found in the greeting hall. Innennarra, Desseer's personal assistant, greets you quickly and states, "Welcome Great One. As you subordinates awoken we knew that your presence was bound to happen soon. Desseer, Myriana, and Ink are out on business right now. Would you like a route to get to them quickly or will you be traveling to Cinder by wing?"
Skärbründ
"Innennara, thank you. Not sure how this will influence their work, but just incase they are busy with... Sensitive matters, I'll not fly and drop in. I'd hate to have to fight a whole garrison just because they mistook me for..." he laughs loudly "Who am I kidding. It would be fun to take on a whole garrison. But Ink and the others will not be too pleased"
Kislum Thrallmaster
Skärbründ
"Ah, Kislum, still an air head I see. Yes, arrived just moments ago. I believe Ink and the rest are playing their intrigue games again. I use to be in a completely different time zone. Had to solo play a lot. Intrigue was never my game" the large half fiend laughs. It echoeing in the halls
"But I guess that's changed. Won't change what I like to do, but at least we can do this together now"

"Wait a mite." Thorin said, before he turned to leave. "If I'm going to do this, then there's someone I'd like to bring along. Hrothgarn." He said, a sense of finality in his voice. "I know that I'm not the most..." He idly waved his hands over his body. "Imposing of figures." It was ironic given his sheer amount of musculature, it was a phrase that would have been seen as false modesty in any other context. But he was referencing what were in effect demigods that he was traveling to meet. "He has the size that will demand respect when we meet them. But more importantly? The lad is dependable. Trustworthy." He knew Hrothgarn from before the...event...which had made them all one with Yggdrasil. And he respected him, for he saw a kindred soul in the giant. Someone who got it when it came to crafting. Sure, Thorin was a rune crafter, while Hrothgarn used the much more common arcane magic that even the dwarves as a people were embracing, but Thorin was mature enough to acknowledge quality. The items made by Hrothgarn were durable enough that even Thorin doubted as towards whether he could break them, and that was saying something.
"That...and if this goes south, it will be good to have him at my back. There is much that I can endure, but where I'm going? I will fall without the aid of someone reliable like him." There were others in the guild that he had considered asking for. Those with arcane powers that complimented Thorin's abilities. Those who could enhance, confuse, alter and explode the world around them. But at the end of the day, he didn't trust any of them as much as he did Hrothgarn. And if his life was going to be on the line, then it was that trust which he wanted to rely on.
Inennarra
She turns to the other great One. A smile still on her face that doesnt reach her eyes, "Kislum, its good to see you too! In total now would be 11 Great Ones. Though some have gone into seclusion one way or another. Also at least one more guild made it. Dragon's Glory. We have a non aggression understanding with them."
She offers, "You could also get there in a few hours if you use the obelisk system. A new form of transportation, teleportation magic of one sort or another is needed."
Dominique Silverstone
"He is just so hot..."

I'm just waiting for GM Wolf so I can figure out where Hrothgarn ended up in the world and how his backstory will fit. Also Hrothgarn didn't join any guilds and stayed an independent crafter that forged (heh) some stronger friendships amongst different guilds
Myriana
Myriana grinned mischievously and said, "The industrial ward nya? Yeah, I think we can do that nya." She did hesitate a moment as a thought occurred to her and asked, "Do we knyaow if they work with cold iornya? We should avoid the bane if we canya." When they were ready Myriana and Iris went with John to see the base before making their way to the industrial district to cause trouble.
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer smiles an amused smile in response to Myriana, "Have fun." His face then changes immediately to concern, "I don't know, but be careful." After his expression of concern, he smiles again and waves as they walk away.
Now, he thinks to himself with his own mischievous smile, let's flex these magical muscles. Let's see what I can do...
I have given you my plan GM. I'm down to fast forward to whatever you want, or would find interesting or fun.
Ink the Spot
"I will take my leave then" He says bowing before he turns and heads towards the slums dressed as a Guild member. He wasn't worried as he would move into a shadowy alley and revert to his glob like form. THere he will stealth his way to the slums.
Stealth: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (17) + 21 = 38
He was on a mission ot find the Slumlord and slay him. Maybe a few more will die, he may have to leave a message. One that warns them all of the dangerous Tattooed One.
GM Wolf
Each party moving into their own districts soon find that most of the goons in town are no more than 3rd level. The Craterlords are likely a minor challange having a group of defenders (fodder) then the Craterlord who is 5th or 6th level, or more but then only levels in noble or expert...
Desseer easily seeds chaos. Ink attacks from the shadows and is likely the first to finish his task of killing a Craterlord, then creating chaos. Myriana and Iris learn of where the hideout is located, then head off to the industrial ward. Not sure what Myriana's plans are...
Chaos quickly spreads throughout the town. Factions fighting factions, leaderless and aimless. Anyone looting?

Having been led to the hideout Myriana and Iris headed to the Industrial district. They had taken the chance to change out of their disguises; they may be useless now but having a pre-established cover story could be useful in the future. As they headed towards the Industrial District, Myriana said, "Oh, Iris-chanya! I nyaever told you about how I became a nyaymph nya!" She bounced along happily, as they reached the middle of the industrial district and she said, "Close your eyes love, I donya't wanyat to blind you too nya."
After the warning Myriana unfurled her wings and flew into the air as she thundered out, "Behold my beauty nya," and unshackled her brilliance. Myriana wasn't concerned about blinding people, if they could push through it, they were worthy to look upon her, if they couldn't, well, they could fix that later if they needed to. After a few seconds of blinding people, she tamped the blindness and took Iris' hand as she led her into the air into a waltz.
The pair danced along just over roof level, occasionally Myriana would have Iris close her eyes and Myriana would unleash her blinding beauty once again. Myriana knew they would eventually draw out guards and others so, when they did, she cast a spell in the middle of their dance, filling the area with illusions of the pair as they danced through the air, occasionally dipping down to just miss someone on the ground.

Amidst the chaos, Desseer searches for the most powerful magic items. He focuses his search on the Arcane Quarter and the Temple District, but mainly uses spells to find out from people where the items may be.

that works for me, I changed the ending of my backstory to reflect that

(So I am just going to place myself in the guild hall)
She had tested out her new body in her training hall and got steph to cast her enhancement magic on her trox form. The boost in strength from her magic was tangible she could feel it in her bones. Her rage was also a new feeling. She knew she had a feature called blood rage that boosts her strength and endurance but experiencing it in the flesh was an entirely different matter. It was like an on demand adrenaline rush. Quite the thrill for a girl who was not so long ago wheelchair bound.
Now though she was curious about how the rest of the world was like and so she strolled out with steph of her back and her little familiar close by to meet the rest of her guild and perhaps the rest of the world. Speaking of other people, the sound of chatter soon caught her attention and she turned her gaze downwards towards the sound.

Since you are opting for traveling the normal way, we can say you have been traversing the wilds for the weeks. You have found very little civilization. Some roaming tribes that shy away from you but mostly just grasslands or plains. You make it to Cinder as the chaos is in full swing. Go ahead and jump in as you wish!!!
