Okay so i know it is very unlikely to be possible, but what I would like to do is throw a bomb at Serverus and propel myself the 20 or so back feet to so i can grab on to Chess or Lorns sled. Unlikly to work but if you think its plausible DM I will try. It would be a great show for the audience :P

I know what I'm going to do, but it just depends on final sled placement from the end of last round.

If ryujin is within 40 so I can see him (or if I can hear him saying something), I'm going to std action bluff/grandstand, and ready a move action to get onto the sled when it swings around.

If I can't see or hear ryujin, I'm going to just full action reload my crossbow as I bluff the crowd without an official grandstanding action

Sorry to keep everyone waiting. I'm posting from my phone. What I thought was just a stomach bug turned out to be appendicitis. Crappy timing, I know.

Good news is, everything's fine now that I'm minus the offending organ and I'll have lots of time for this game in the next week or two.

I know the timing's crappy what with the clusterf~~& my mistake turned this round into. I'll fix everything, promise. I think there's going to be a little shuffling of timespace to straighten things out. It'll make sense in game, promise.

a couple things im curious about

1) Is it possible to use sleight of hand with a hidden dagger up in a spring-loaded wrist sheathe, to stab ryujin in the back once im on the sled with him, without anyone actually seeing me do it? Purely an academic question at this point, of course. ;)

2) Completely unrelated followup question: the match rules say 2 "active" members must complete 4 laps. That implies "alive", doesn't it?

So Lorn is moving control now? Joboo was on Zar'zan's and Varniel's sled dismantling theirs last I knew.

So, the alchemists' sled is disabled, right? Not ours?

Is our drive DC still supposed to be 22? We were at 12 in the previous round and no longer have a wayward mount or a disabled sled.

I'm at -1 but still conscious due to your house rule. I fall unconscious at -4. Does this mean I am disabled at -3, or am I disabled now?

When you are staggered but conscious you are stable. If you perform a strenuous action (anything requiring a standard action) you lose 1 HP, just like normal.

Alright, I'll have my post after a few questions. I loved the in game recap by the way, and a great way to introduce some of the people pulling the strings.
If I drive using my move action, can I use a five foot step to switch places with Mel(maybe she could use a move action to help the foot work) and then use a standard action to fire the cannon(or throw a dagger)?

As long as you are conscious, you're stable. It works like Diehard but only for your Con modifier's worth of Negative HP.

If you drop below that threshold you fall unconscious and start bleeding out normally.

I'd love to help you out, but I need to use my move action to hold on. I can't chance a balance check in my condition. :-)

If you're at the reins you no longer have to make balance checks. I'll start to have to, but I can do that. You can drive in your current condition with out flat out passing out, which is great.

Yes. You can also substitute handle animal, but I'd suggest using ride if you're untrained in both.

Absolutely. As long as Mel can take the reigns you'll be fine.

hey dm dh, glad to see you back.

one thing that i had mentioned before, was i was wondering if it is possible to make a roll with a social skill as part of a grandstanding check to possibly get somethign more (or different than) a +2 bonus.

like for my turn, i was going to std action grandstand (with a bluff roll attached, because i will be lying to them), and then ready action a move action to jump onto ryujins sleigh when it gets near me.

the +2 is the stock bonus for what is essentially a sacrificed action. It's my cookie that I give for people who miss their turn.

Purposefully trying to gain crowd favor by performance or skill has a chance of earning a bonus or penalty between plus and minus 5

DM DH Since my hair lasts for a couple more rounds, I have to ask--my hair is actually more dexterous than my hands (go figure, hehe). Can I use my hair to drive the sled?

Chess I agree to your plan. Take your turn and then I'll post (makes more sense for you to go first with us switching spots, IMO.)

Yeah, I understand that RAW I cant do it. But RAW you can't load an alchemist bomb into a cannon without the delayed bomb discovery. But this game is more about the story and it seems that DM DH rewards different actions based on the story aspect, so I thought I'd ask.

Doomed, do you think the blue or yellow cart are within reach from me to grab, and if not within reach for me to draw my sickle hook it on to a sled?

Edit: also if i were to grab onto a sled then let go would i pretty much fly forward with the momentum or would i just stop and float mid air?

Joboo, the Roll With It feat activates off being hit with a melee weapon, not falling.

I'm curious, physics hurting my brain and all. Could Zar'zan catch up with the sled? It is moving at 50' per round right? No offense, but the image of a dwarf pumping his little legs through snow and slush about up to his waist after any type of vehicle addles my mind.
