Well, at least we had fun doing that impromptu roleplaying, and I know I liked it. I hope we all have a good chance of getting into this campaign. Anyway, I think I should mention I live in California, so I am in the Pacific Standard Zone, so I do not know if it helps, but I hope it does.
Thanks for mentioning, but I don't mind having players in different time zones. I'm known to post in the dead of night just as much as posting in the afternoon.

Right there with you, specifically right now.

Considering the fact that it's 2 AM, I'd have to say I'm in the same boat.

While obviously this wouldn't be set in stone (since we don't know who's in the campaign yet), but I had an idea involving the two people planning on playing child characters. In the little RP we had going on, Kent was talking to Alan, and it struck me that Kent is the kind of fellow who wouldn't let someone live on the street if he had the room and coin to let them stay with him.

I figure it gives us a reason to know each other, and Kent could always have them to chores in the smithy to earn their keep. Kent's just to much of a nice sucker not to offer, and he'd probably be a horrible--if well-liked--father figure given his views on authority and lack of... well, actually having any children.

That's a very nice idea. I'll make a note of it.

I wouldn't be opposed, but Maria, I see her more of the kind who's gonna seek to bring money in and pay for her own roof as much as possible, whether by legal or illegal means, though it would give me an excuse to learn craft weapons armor,

Just want to say thanks to everyone for letting me flesh out Tsakua (whether he makes it or not). I did enjoy seeing him take on a big-brotherish role that he was slightly confused with.

Also, I've loved all the characters that have been posted for this, and the creativity that has gone into them. Good luck all!

Not to mention I think we've got a strong enough understanding of those characters that even if they don't get in here, they have excellent shots elsewhere.

Background There's a detailed background in her profile, including an addendum if she's allowed to be a resident of Sandpoint.

I didn't notice this question at first, but yes feel free to be a resident of Sandpoint.

Silver Crusade

I quite agree with the consensus on the little RP. Even though it was only a post or two on my side, I've a better idea of just how the mystery and curse have affected Torvald. It was fun, too.

About time zones, I'm at GMT+1.

Already playing with USA people in other PBP, and this is not being an issue.

I'm GMT+0, till next month then I become... GMT-3:30. Oh and right now I am regularly awake till at least 6am.

Guys! Lol I don't need your time zones.

And Alandrian, I feel your pain. I just can't sleep at all tonight. Fortunately my work is an evening shift.

Haha I think we are just comparing timezones is all. I know I was.

Haha I fell asleep at 7:30 and got about 4 hours sleep and here I am again, wide awake. Fun stuff.

@Treasure Fox,

Bruden is LN, and all his info should be in his profile, although I can repost it here if you'd prefer.

No worries, Bruden, I found it! Thanks

Guys, this is really hard XD

WHY MUST YOU ALL BE SO AWESOME??

You can do it!

Nice. Lloyd, I like.

Thanks. ^_^ I like him too! Not quite sure where he came from, but I'm glad he wandered into my head.

@Treasurefox Aside from finishing the equipment list, which shouldn't contain anything too unusual, is there anything you'd like me to do/change? I know you stated a preference for core races, but I'm hoping the choice of Kitsune in Sandpoint makes sense. I'm interested in using some of the race's abilities in the downtime and puzzles you mentioned.

"Well I'm a tall, cool and handsome Bear man who has an adorable Orphan as a Ward, that is why I am so awesome. Dunno about the rest."

Nope! You've given me everything I need. I don't really need to see equipment. (Though sometimes I get a pretty good kick out of it.)

No worries about the race, as I said in the rules: cores are only preferred, not mandatory.

I was actually a lil surprised to see that you chose biped rather than quadruped. It didn't change anything recruitment-wise, but I was curious what made you choose that. I was thinking of a regular bear.

He isn't actually a bear though. He is kinda like a bear featured man. He has the build of a man but is covered in fur and has kinda bear like features. I'm going for a weapon build eventually.

Ohhh okay. That makes sense

Grand Lodge

I admit, at first I thought you actually were a bear until you started posting that he was a bear-man. Just figured since bears can stand on their hind legs for periods of time that's what you were doing.

Jeaux is just a standard wallaby. Wearing leather armor and wielding a glaive.

Do you know what time the final decision will be posted? Earlier you said late today. I sadly don't think I'll be online at the time, so I'll be learning after the fact, unless it is going to be posted in the middle of the night, in which case I won't be awake. I wish I could function on 4 hours sleep, I would get so much more done.

Well how about this? If no one posts a new character in the next 5 hours, then I'll close the recruitment and deliver the results. Otherwise we will wait for Sunday morning. I just realized that there's no way I can be online this evening. I'm working straight to midnight, and cellphones aren't an option lol.

Grand Lodge

That works for me. Always useful to know these things.

NOBODY ELSE APPLY >:D (jkjk)

Don't listen to Vandra! Come and be awesome!

Hi i just saw this last night and thought i would use this character. In the long run i plan on going wizard and cleric to mystic theurge but for now he is a wizard. He is an Aasimar too.

I have no problem with character death as i usually have a backup ready.
Yes i would be interested in joining later
I like google docs for maps and have never used roll20
I will post at least once per day usually more if i have something going on i will be sure to warn everyone.

Backstory:

Valcair was born to a woman who was a scholar and a wizard. A devout woman to Nethys she imparted these qualities to her son. Who was the by product of an experiment with an outsider. She always spoke fondly of his father even though he had never met him. Valcair was raised surrounded by books and ancient knowledge and he grew very much in love with history Thassilonian history in particular. He was always fascinated by these 'runelords' and always wanted to know more. When he was old enough he set off in search of the runelords and any secrets that were still to be found.

Appearance: His bright Auburn hair and yellow eyes mark him as something not quite human. He his thinner and bookish but not unable to talk to those around him. He has a bright, quick smile but usually has his face in a book.

Heres to hoping!

Wow so reading through my characters backstory I realized that there were an abundance of grammatical errors. That being said, such errors are not typical in my posts. I had written that on my cell after a long days work. When I get a chance I'll update it so it isn't such a nightmare to read. Also, if it helps I can just as easily go normal casting. Word casting is just particularly nice for blaster types.

Thanks for the application! Valcair is going through the selection process.

I think it's been established that we all have things going on that keep us away from the computer sometimes. Thanks for taking time to organize this, TreasureFox.

20 minutes till the 5 hour mark. :D Are we getting white smoke or will it be grey?!

The five hour mark was SUPPOSED to be if we didn't get any other applicants, we did. Which is not to say he won't cut it there anyways.

Shhhh stop ruining my dreams Korak!!!

Sorry, trying to keep the hope for a speedy resolution low so nobody's disappointed if he doesn't do it in the next hour or so. I'm looking out for you, (and me)

Haha Thanks man. Yeah I would like one but I am not too rushed. I can wait, barely. Haha

Yeah waiting three extra days after the deadline, only to get in a couple of weeks later after the original GM disappeared without doing diddly has made me very cautious about hoping for speedy resolutions. Not so much on the hope my character will get in though. GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!

Ouch. That sounds like a pretty s@#*ty PbP experience you got there Korak. Damn.

Haha Yes GOOD LUCK ALL!

First one, but somebody picked it up and ran it for everybody who was still interested. So it worked out pretty well.

Oh, well it is good it got played yeah. That is awesome. I can't even remember my first PbP here. Hmm. I have a feeling it was a Council of Thieves game, maybe. No... That can't be right. Hmm. I dunno. Whatever it was we didnt get very far anyway!

Gestalt Wrath of the Righteous, the game Korak was made for actually. Had a thousand posts in the recruitment section.

Wow. That sounds like a fun game. Damn! Gestalting a Mythic game, ballsy move.

Yep, It's also where I figured out I don't like building gestalts. still after the initial build it's a lot easier.

Haha I just finished building a triple Gestalt and had a blast. Haha I am kinda an addict when it comes to character creation though.

Same here. I love making characters, PFS characters, and hero labs really helps with that. Its fun to see how a character might become.

I prefer to build it all by hand. Slower, sure, but then I get to put the exact level of detail I want in to the profile.

Grand Lodge

Yeah, and possibly more accurate too, due to needing to re-check each character I made with herolabs before using a character for PFS. In additions to the additional resources for PFS too. But, its fun none the less. And I know, I may have made a wee bit too many that I have not played yet. >.>

Me, I'm trying to create an overlord class, so, since it's a beginning project for me in my wish to become a game designer, whoo boy.

Haha That is okay though. You'll find games for them.

Yep, I'll be placing it over on google drive or so to begin with, then see about gathering a group here to help me playtest it.
