The Ogon Fox |

The Fox moves around Faithcarcass and into the stable in order to flank with Johann. Drawing his cold iron dagger as he moves, he ends his movement by stabbing at Faithcarcass!
cold iron dagger melee attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 2 = 12
piercing damage with sneak attack: 1d4 + 2d6 ⇒ (4) + (5, 6) = 15

“Faithcarcass” the Vrock Demon |

yikes- I was hoping that with the Con damage that would have dropped the first one...
By George, you're right! That does him in...
As Fox is about to maneuver around the grappled "Faithcarcass", the vrock falls limp in Bear's mighty grip, succumbing to the bloodletting of Zagathoth and his magic falchion Doomcrescent!
The original vrock demon expires in Johann's furry arms! Well done, Crusaders!

Arc Perdu GM bot |

Arc channels eldritch energy down his arm, through his right hand, into Sanguinelle, magically honing the blade to razor-sharp keenness, then swings hastily at the summoned vrock, “Maggotwing”...1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23 slashing the demon for 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 damage!
Back to zee Abyss, foul fiend!!

Arc Perdu GM bot |

Round 3: The vrock emits a stunning screech! All within 30 feet (that’s everybody) roll a DC 21 Fortitude save, failure means you are stunned for 1 round!
SKA-RRREEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTCCHHHHH!!!!
Fortitude save vs DC 21 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 fails!
Arc is momentarily stunned into inaction by the vrock’s horrible screeching!

Fort: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
The Cardinal takes a step back, but no more, despite the demon's horrific noise!

Quinlan Ifrean |

Sorry I haven't posted in a little while.
Quinlan waves his hand at the new vrock and coats the floor beneath it.
grease, burn 1 AP to increase dc. DC 19 reflex

Boga |

Round 3
Fortitude: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 Failed! Boga is stunned.
Boga tries to cover his ears, but fails. His head pulses with the undulations in the screech of the vrock, and he momentarily loses his normal awareness of the situation. Again, he looks around at the display and images in the room. They seem to swirl together in both a celebration and a mockery of his Lord, Jesus Christ. He teeters for a moment but regains his balance. Too late, however, to prevent whatever the vrock decides to do!

Zagathoth |

Fort(rage/SO): 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 1 = 25
Zagathoth snarls through the creature's screech. Adjusting his grip, he gets ready to lay into the new foe too...
I'm a little unclear on the timing- it just screeched, so we can attack again now?

Yes, go ahead. It screeches on its turn in round 3, so if you haven’t acted yet in round 3, even if you fail your save and are stunned, you can act on round 3 if your initiative comes before the vrock’s, or if it comes after and you made the save...

The Ogon Fox |

Round 3 (retcon)
Since Faithcarcass died, I am re-writing my action.
As Faithcarcass falls, the Fox sees an opportunity to grant Zagathoth the same defense he gave to Johann. He moves next to Zagathoth and casts blur on him.
"This will help you avoid the strikes of our enemy," the Fox explains.

"Maggotwing" the Vrock Demon |

In Abyssal: Your Christ was only one of many magicians and holy men calling themselves the Son of God, the Messiah! He just got lucky, and it was His cult that flourished because Constantine had a hallucination of a cross in the sky after receiving a brain-damaging blow to his noggin! So, suck on that for a wee while, before I gobble your flesh and spit out your bones!

Gojira, King of Kaiju |

Zagathoth |

Quin would know better than me, but I think this is the last round of haste.
***round 4***
Either oblivious to the fox's words or too fixated on his work to reply, Zagathoth steps in on the newly arrived demon and continues to hack away...
attack 1: 1d20 + 10 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 10 + 2 + 1 = 29, for: 2d4 + 16 + 2 ⇒ (4, 4) + 16 + 2 = 26

AAAAAAAARRRRGHHH!!! UUURRRRRKKK!!!
Reeling from Zagathoth’s ferocious assault, reeking black ichor spraying from two deep gashes in its abdomen, the summoned vrock begins to fear that it will meet the same fate as its brother!
Down 55 damage total...

The Ogon Fox |

Boy am I glad he's on our side, the Fox thinks as he watches Zagathoth carve bloody canyons into the flesh of the vrock. He moves behind the demon to flank with Zagathoth provoking at least one attack of opportunity to get there and makes a stabbing motion with his dagger--but it is only a distraction to help Zagathoth land his next blow.

Distracted momentarily by Fox’s feint, the vrock opens its defenses to the snarling Zagathoth and his deadly Doomcrescent!

"Maggotwing" the Vrock Demon |

Pull it together, Maggotwing!... This angry little orc is tearing you new ones all over the place, and you lose focus over a Little Fox and his pig-sticker!? You’re going to wind up a quasit or a dretch like your bird-brained brother, Faithcarcass!... Curse you, brother! You dragged me into this mess! I’ll be damned (oh, wait...) I’ll be a bloody fool if I’m going to stick around and let this little green murderer turn me back into a dretch! It’s taken centuries to become a vrock, dammit!!

As Fox moved close to flank with Zagathoth, the vrock lashed out with its claw and raked his back!

The Ogon Fox |

The Fox cried out in pain as the vrock slashed him, but he saw his distraction worked! And when the vrock tries to flee, he does his best to hit it for real.
Attack of Opportunity, cold iron dagger: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 2 = 15

The vrock narrowly evades Cardinal Lucius’ magic blade as it launches into the air over the Crusaders’ heads, up near the twenty-foot-high ceiling, where it vanishes in a foul-smelling black cloud!
