Boga |

Boga is not proficient with armor or shields. He lost it because of his archetype, Ecclesitheurge. I liked the Monk/Ecclesitheurge combo, and monk fit in with the idea of a traveling cleric, so that's why he has that 1 level of monk.
At any rate, the bracers would be great for Boga; however, seeing that he does not get directly in combat, if someone else can make better use of them, that would be fine.

lol- I meant 2-3 kids by 2-3 different women, but I suppose twins or triplets would work too...
[dice=Fort]1d20+8”I am the champion,” Zagathoth answers with a broad toothy grin. Stealing the sheet, he stands to reveal how ready he is to continue celebrating then offers, ”if you do not want to invite anyone else right now, I’ll go find the healer and see if he can help you continue...”
Boga! I’m gonna need a lesser restoration for my lady, stat.
That is too funny, dude. If Boga helps out here, I get to play one of the offspring the next campaign!

Ha! Deal.

lol- I can toss up a post tracking down Boga... I was just leaving some room for Molly to respond (either changing her mind about backup or consenting to some magical refreshing or both)

GM rolls Will save against DC 20 "this is getting weird" feelings
Lol- I blame Lucius... Zagathoth is basically pure id and relies on the church/priests to be a sort of super-ego for him
I find it all amusing (and maybe even a little cathartic). Still, feel free to keep more of it off camera if you (or anyone else) feel like its getting to be too much. Something like "Molly smiles coyly and sends Zagathoth off to find Boga" probably accomplishes the same thing as our last 3 posts but with a lot less chance of feeling weird to anyone, I think.

I'm kidding, I think it's hilarious lol

What better way to introduce and unite the two companies than to send the Crusaders in, at this crucial moment, to join the assault on the Emir in his court? Eugene asks Nicolas.
And what better way to work in some more XP before we foolishly try to face the Antichrist himself in his throne room! =D

Exactly lol...
How do you guys feel about a brief sidetrek to Africa to overthrow an Arab slavelord who runs the Arena of Death?

oh it just occurred to me that Johann could use bracers of armor +4. He doesn't have armor in animal form, just relies on Quinlan to do mage armor. So the bracers+4 make him not reliant on that spell which is good.

I kill whatever the pope tells me to kill

So, here's my plan: Pope Eugenius and Nicolas Flamel will teleport the Crusaders to Marrakech, fully restored in health, spellcasting, etc, via a combination of Pope casting miracle to restore spellcasting potential and hit points and Flamel casting wish to send them there at just the proper moment.
The Archangel Raphael has just heralded the Crusaders' imminent arrival to the Desert Jackals in the harem room of the emir's palace... Now it's time for the Crusaders to make a cameo appearance at table 2! Go ahead and post a description of your character teleporting into the harem room on the Gameplay thread at table 2, please!

Done - since I'm the a. least threatening, and b. most normal(???) of the group it seemed sensible that I make introductions!

Zagathoth |

I have a busy morning so it might be a little while before I get my intro post up in the other thread. I’m not sure how much communication there would be in your campaign between illicit fighting arenas (I imagine some since it’s more exciting to have a variety of fighters flowing through places) or how rare an orcish fighter would be (I assumed fairly rare since it seemed like orcs were a small population with limited interaction with humans), but there could be a chance that the emir would recognize me... I’m certainly not going to be disappointed if he doesn’t but I thought I’d throw that out there just in case you wanted to play with the RP of it.
Also, assuming Boga helps me should I roll another Fort save? Same DC?
Fort: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
lol- there it is...

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

After quickly sizing up the strangers before him, the orc notices the nearby harem girls and his smile grows. "Are any of you married?" he asks.
Little did the Pope and Flamel know that they might be enabling Zagathoth the Virile to sire many more children, even in far-removed locales...

New game request - It's 1453 and Pope Lucius calls a crusade to save Constantinople from the Sultan of the Ottomans, led by Zagathoth the Virile and his half-dragon children!!

Yes! Feel free to throw cool ideas for future campaigns at me, I like being inspired by the imaginations and ideas others come up with, and seeing how they expand my setting in interesting ways!
There is already a Year of Our Lord 1437 combined table PBP thread set up, and feel free to start posting there in discussion thread, but for now, hold off on posting in gameplay on that thread until the mission in Marrakech on table 2 is completed. Then, we will all move to combined table as the new super-party continues the hunt for the Antichrist on the combined table.

Just to say I'm moving house at the moment which is limiting my posting badly. If I go dark for a while then my apologies!

I'm really proud of this campaign and the participants who've been here for 7 months of solid, fast-paced swords and sorcery adventure in a pulp fiction fairytale Earth of your humble GM's devising...
At an average progress of 1 level per month, we are on track to reach 12th level by the one year anniversa6of the campaign's start. And on track to wrap it up by about a year from now at level 20 and deification in my world for the survivors!
