The Pathfinder Society has hired adventurers to investigate the abandoned Shadowed Keep on the Borderlands. But en route they discover a massacred merchant wagon. Who, or what, is responsible? And are they still around?

Wix once again nimbly traverses the Blocked Path, rejoining Beau at the slippery bank of the Treacherous Path


Round Five - Troll

Beau and Wix can hear the Troll crashing through the woods.


Round Six - Shane, Darpan - Crack in the Earth (Location Seven)

Beyond the snakes, a clear path is suddenly rent by a deep, stony Crack in the Earth.

Marked by Shane
DC 13 Acrobatics check to make a giant leap across; or
DC 8 Survival to finda way around this crack.

One check, two checks, spell, wait or go back.


Round Six - Beau, Wix - Treacherous Path (Location Five)

The last few fallen trees create a Treacherous Path across a swollen brook.

DC10 Acrobatics check to balance on slippery logs; or
DC15 Swim to make a quick swim across the brook.

One check, two checks, mark the trail or spell.


Round Six - Patracleus - Muddy Slog (Location Eight)

The goal is near. The (misnamed) Low Road runs atop a nearby hill, across a [b]Muddy Slog.]/b]

DC10 Perception check to identify the dry spots within the slog; or
DC15 Strength check to power through the mud.

One check, two checks, mark the trail, spell, wait or go back


Darpan looks over and spots Shane marking the path across a deep chasm.
"Should we wait for Beau and Wix? I have not seen Patracleus since that nest of snakes back there. I hope he is ok."


Fighter 3 / Bard 3, AC20 / T15 / FF15, F+5, R+8, W+4 (+5 vs Fear), HP17/45, Bardic Performance 11/11 Human Received the Forge Card.

Catching his breath, Petracleus realises that in his enthusiasm to outrun the troll, he has outrun everyone.

Deciding that discretion is the better part of valour, he decides to look for a dry path through the mud.

Perception Check 1d20 ⇒ 12

Identifying a few favourable rocks and branches, Petracleus manages to safely navigate the mud without muddying his feet......


Acrobatics: +1 skill, +2 40' movement 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

Hearing the troll behind him finally gets Beau's feet working again as he runs across the slippery surface without missing a step.


Male Human Rogue/01

Swim (+0):1d20 + 0 ⇒ (17) + 0 = 17

Slipping off the logs on the Treacherous Path, Wix manages to doggy-paddle his way to the otherside.


Male Halfling Druid

I saw that we're putting the game on pause, but I figured that I'd go for this round since I'm back now.

"We've done what we can. I'm moving forward."

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Survival: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

Shane runs forward to leap across, but notices a path around just before he jumps, and runs around that way.


is this one done now?? no action since 20th of March... too bad
