Background
Darpan was born one of the many 'unwashed masses' in the city of Jaipur from the lands of Vudra. He was choose by a wandering swami to become his helper and assistant. Dar and the holy man traveled about the many cities of the Impossible Kingdoms for a few years before they caught ship and travelled to the western city of Absalom. It was here that the old man passed on, leaving Dar by himself. Continuing his travels, he wandered onto the mainland and into the vale where he ran into a member of a secretive group, the Pathfinders. He was swayed to assist this woman and found himself in the city awaiting others in a local tavern.
