By the way, I'm glad you like the tea cup art. It amused me to put that one together.

Is that Rosie the Riveter's arm?
Uesugi Hideyoshi

I still think the graveyard is a better idea but Uesugi will favor going to the warehouse if the others feel that they will be better use there. If the house was trapped as such however a warehouse will be even worse off and travelling to the warehouse to investigate will likely leave very little time for Cup's servant to be used in either case I think.

Good morning, I'm GM Red, here with your weekly progress update. We're about 2/3rds through the first chapter/module. There are three parts to the first chapter and you've just about finished the second.
We're making pretty good time so far, not surprisingly :)
By the way, thanks for the update. This has been an awesome adventure so far. I want to run it at Dreamers when we're done... I've loved this as much as I loved Murders Mark. It's so fun finding new replayables!
Hmm
PS I have two more spells, Uesugi. I just want to get the most bang out of my Unseen Servant that I can get!
Sir D. Arthraven

@ Cup, yes, now that i've googled the name.
I just searched for flexed arm, and i used this pic
The ['We can do it'] part of the original seems appropriate to us.
Though that clutters it, if i were to add that too.
Edit: I'm not accidentally stepping on any toes with that, am i?
Cup

We're both shameless art thieves. I'm just proud that I recognized Rosie's arm.
Hmm
Gorgeous Gallix Granbonne

And adding to the shameless art theft, here's how I kinda envisioned the logo:

Glad to hear it! It's been a blast to run so far.
I have made a few adjustments to make some enemies tougher that seemed to fall in line with the challenge level desired by the adventure's writers.
Sounds like we're heading for the warehouse. Bit of a challenge to work with maps at work, so it might be a couple hours before I get that up.
Edit: Of course a logo from Gallix has a bicep in it... Hehe. I actually quite like that one though, and Cup's teacup logo.

The woman's arm has attitude.
But hey..i'm just a foreigner, what would i know. ^^

Cup has a bot me spoiler in her profile. I'm off to aikido training soon, and wanted to make sure that y'all know how to bot me. Players as well as GMs can do it.
Hmm

Ya I'll be slow as well, playing our regular Monday roll20 game. There are more bombs to chuck and giants to kill.

Cup sings, snapping the choruses with her whip adding to the beat.
♫ Crack that whip
Can’t afford to slip
Gotta get back
The kids we’re tryin’ to track
When a giant bug comes along you must whip it
Before demon bile grows too strong you must whip it
Getting kids back where they belong you must whip it
Snap Gel into shape
Shape him up
Get straight
Go forward
Move ahead
Try to detect it
It's not too late to whip it
Whip it good
Demon comes out of the ground you must whip it
You will never save this town unless you whip it
No one gets their way until they whip it
I say whip it whip it good
I say whip it whip it good
Crack that whip
Can’t afford to slip
Gotta get back
The kids we’re tryin’ to track ♫

Chatty as ever in here, I see! I can go either way on whether Hmm should open up a separate BuA thread now or later and as far as characters available I've got several to pick from as I said earlier. My crazy Time oracle could be lots of fun but I've also got some more beefy characters available if we need one :)
GM Red
|
Hey Lady L. I had forgotten to respond to Hmm's question but yeah she can go ahead and open it now and then we could possibly direct BuA discussion to there. Not that I mind it being here at all, but then it'll all be in one place.
Sir D. Arthraven
|
It seems i'm cut 'some' slack, with only 4 discussion and 8 gameplay to wake up to.

lol classes at night on Mondays and Thursdays! but here you go!

Same here with aikido classes. I'm going to be AFK, doing charity work this morning. Bot me.

I had a face to face PFS session last night, so I also couldn't pad the posts for you much last night, D. :)

Even before I applied a template, this little demon's abilities & tactics seem really annoying to most parties. :)
Let's hope we see some direct hits from D and Corsac now that they're no longer scared out of their wits.

Yeah, I was hoping my Slumber Hex would take it out. A Coup de Grace would do wonders against its DR.
Gorgeous Gallix Granbonne

Well that's a well-timed crit if ever there was one. Let's hope that puts the bugger down if Uesugi doesn't do so first!
Sir D. Arthraven

YUUOOOAAAAHHHH!!!!!
BANZAII!!!!!!
....Uesugi takes the kill again, is my guess. :)

Absolutely! Haha. It wouldn't be a proper fight without a devastating samurai crit!

That's the second time my whip has helped someone confirm a crit! Man, the cookies that I've made for the Paizo dice roller have been awesome!
Gorgeous Gallix Granbonne

Yeah that was pretty huge! Thanks for the assist, Miss Poshkettle. :D

WOWZERS great teamwork and perfectly timed roll indeed!

None of it would have been possible if the rest of us hadn't run away in fear! Bluff: 1d20 + 100 ⇒ (5) + 100 = 105

Um....I might disagree with that slightly, Mr. Peppers. ;)

Man quasits suck! Don't worry Gallix I'll avenge your stumble! I'll need to have a new blade commissioned once I see Absalom again.
Cup

Gone to aikido training. Bot me.
GM Red
|
So, now that that's over, Gallix will have to roll a couple saves until his roll plus any heal checks meets the DC.
As for the dex damage, you do have that scroll of lesser restoration in your possession, and don't forget about Father Ildris and the Temple.
My brain's out of posting ki for today, so I'll see you guys tomorrow.

Three people just got fired at my place of work so I'm a little... uninspired today. Sorry. Updates will be a little less frequent.

Sorry to hear about that, GM. My previous company announced back in February that 70 people, including myself, would be laid off by the end of the year. Some people had to leave in less than 2 months, I had to stay until November.

Ouch, rough for both of you guys. I've spent the morning in a boat trying to clean up and contain a small fuel oil spill. Fun times. Time to get back at it.
GM Red
|
Thanks guys. You're all very kind. I appreciate it.
I'm okay, just a bit shocked, but I've been assured my job isn't in question. I still feel bad about those who were let go since I was pretty close friends with them.
Gorgeous Gallix Granbonne
|
Well at least you have that assurance. It does always suck to lose friends and colleagues like that, though.
Sir D. Arthraven
|
but I've been assured my job isn't in question.
That's what i heard in my previous job, and might have been true at the time.
One time legally standing in my right later gets me a different message from 2 managers later.A pity...some people can't cope with employees speaking up for themselves, and proving them in the wrong.
But...it's still an unorganized mess, as nobody has been hired for that job for almost 3 years. (Ah-hahahaha!)
Cup

Going offline until late. Bot me, please.

That's fine Cup, I'll likely be out most of the evening.
