ok moved some tokens.
Ace - left him where he is
Begrilda - created space for cage and put her on it. Cage door is facing north towards the wizard locked secret door
D - Moved him behind me. He has range so he can be anywhere but we don't know exactly where they are going to come from
Me - Moved going to blend in shadows and have daggers drawn

I climbed up some crates. Slowly. I should be obscured behind the crates, relative to the broken main door.
GM Red
|
There were a lot of preparations, so I don't remember if the door near Acelyn is closed or not. The one with the thunderstone. Is it?
Mr. Peppers
|
Yes thunderstone, door is open, has nail board. If the door closes the thunderstone hopefully goes boom.
GM Red
|
I'll wait to see if anyone would like to act before the four continue to move, or attempt to move, through the warehouse ;)
GM Red
|
I'm going to give Ace a few hours longer. From a bit of alias stalking, I think he's been busy with real life lately.
Mr. Peppers
|
Whatever works. I'm sure he'd have moved his character though if it comes down to that. Can't say I've ever played an archer that wants to be in that position.
Mr Peppers will just sit and wait for now. Elves are patient.
GM Red
|
I agree. If he doesn't show up, someone else may move his token a few squares away from that thunderstoned entrance. I would think he would have ran a bit further into the warehouse upon hearing the door open.
GM Red
|
Green just got lucky with his initiative roll, or you would've been fine. Damn that Dez!
GM Red
|
Speaking of Home Alone, I did have Marv in mind when deciding on Dez's clumsy personality and slurred words. :) His boss is a little more serious.
Blue is more brawn than brain and pink, who has yet to act, is the thoughtful silent type.
We are about 90% done, guys! Completing a PbP scenario in two weeks is just awesome.
As I've always said, tell me if I'm ever going too fast. I'm always looking to improve. I use Hmm as my inspiration for wanting to be a better writer, and Sir D. (Chyrone) is my go-to for "did I forget a penalty/bonus?" :)

hey you'll only get better by writing more and more!
I love the speed. so all good here.
Mr. Peppers
|
I second on the love the speed. A long boring winter in front of a computer for work says high posting speed please.
Mr. Peppers
|
Dang I need to get in more games... so many character ideas and not enough games and posts to RP them!
GM Red
|
I hear ya. If I had more time, I'd run and play more tables, but the Red Arm campaign takes up a lot of my posting time. I don't mind, of course!
Currently, I only GM one other game, and it runs at maybe 1/4 the speed of this one.
I do play in 3 or 4 other tables running at various speeds though.
Mr. Peppers
|
Ya I'm in two other games but one plays at a crawl.. not even a post a day by the GM, and the other I'm in with Gallix and Sugi and it is going at a medium pace, other than a couple players only post about once or twice a week.
Bishop 'The Dark Augur'
|
We're spoiled! So I'll just suck it up oops I think that should be soak it up and enjoy the speed posting campaign. Hehe 2 weeks for a scenario dang! Red make sure to take a break when you need to don't get burnt out GMing for us.
GM Red
|
Haha, thanks Bishop. Much like Mr. Peppers, I'm stuck in front of a computer all day. Running games helps break the monotony :)
I'm thinking we should take a few days break between the end of this scenario and the start of our module. It'll let anyone who needs to level up, make purchases, and have their characters ready.
Mr. Peppers
|
Sounds good. I don't have any travel plans in the near future so I'll be ready to go whenever.
I'm working on detailing out a 'pushy' dwarven character. Monk or Foehammer... sure seems fun to be able to run people over and push them around on a battle field. Man an earthbreaker on a foehammer with power attack packs a punch!
Bishop 'The Dark Augur'

grrr tell me about it! Uesugi will need to purchase a cold iron wakizashi once they make it back home and probably a yumi (bow).
Begrilda Hammerhild
|
Demons actually. And they can cling to ceilings. One of these days Gallix is gonna get an actual ranged weapon, not just a sling for any rocks he finds.

If Sirettis ever needs to take a rest, I may try to rebuild my Gnome Illusionist/Magus/Witch and drop her in here just to watch Mr. Peppers squirm. Unlike most Gnomes Acel's pretty dour.

Hmm. Question about Prehensile Hair:
The prehensile hair is my only natural weapon. That means I apply 1.5x Str damage, right? (The hair has Str score equal to my Int)
I've been using 1d3 + 4 for damage, but it should be 1d3 + 6. Oh well, something to remember in the future.
Mr. Peppers
|
Heh I don't think squirm is the correct term. He's not afraid of Gnomes.. he just doesn't like em! Although, he would probably not have as big problem with a Gnomish Wizard. Racial spell like abilities just ain't fair!

Most creatures possess one or more natural attacks (attacks made without a weapon). These attacks fall into one of two categories, primary and secondary attacks. Primary attacks are made using the creature’s full base attack bonus and add the creature’s full Strength bonus on damage rolls. Secondary attacks are made using the creature’s base attack bonus –5 and add only 1/2 the creature’s Strength bonus on damage rolls. If a creature has only one natural attack, it is always made using the creature’s full base attack bonus and adds 1-1/2 times the creature’s Strength bonus on damage rolls. This increase does not apply if the creature has multiple attacks but only takes one.
So the hair is a secondary natural attack, but it's my only one, so I use my full BAB and add 1.5x my Strength check.
Guess I'll tack on that +2 damage from now on.

That hair hex is pretty nice. I can only imagine how much better it'll be when you can use it more than just once a day. I'll have to think about taking it on a male witch... something about a strangling mustache just seems awesome.
GM Red
|
I love both the hair and the slumber hex!
I went to a meeting, got back, and boom: 13 new Discussion posts and 5 Gameplay! I think I'm caught up now.

As for why Zatah didn't just attack Sirettis: I try to get into my NPC's heads, and she's not going to try to hit Sirettis in partial concealment if she has a much more visible target in plain view.
