Thank you phil. I didn't have the book on hand when I posted that and well haven't done this enough to remember all this automatically yet.

My apologies, GM. I tried to get a post in last night, but work really drained me the other day.

We're a bit all ofer the place with the first round. Don't worry. Hopefully we'll settle out a little later.

I know this is not exactly to plan, but I must say, an epic firefight against our target is more fun than a simple night time assassination.

True, but it's definitely not within our skill set. Plus, keep in mind we've no longer got our magically reinforced full plate armor that stops lasgun blasts but historically couldn't stop a black powder shot from close range...

I'll give it to you though, Cormaeg, it is far more exciting.

Single shot get's you a +10. I assumed semi-auto because you didn't have that modifier

Hegland the way I see it our characters are barely proficient in gothic.

You forgot to brace your heavy weapon Cormaeg, which would have made it wildly inacurate anyway

@Jermaie - I strongly suggest you look over the spoilers you got over the last few days and share with the group

Grapple Target Options:
Break Free - Opposed Strength test to end the grapple
Slip Free - Agility test to squirm out of the grapple
Take control - Opposed strength test to take control. If you succeed you can immediately make a controller grapple action

I was thinking about the reload time a bit, I think it is the NUMBER of actions involved that makes the difference.
A missile launcher doesn't require more than slamming the missile home which while I've never done it, does not look too complicated (my brother is in the army so I've seen some instruction videos)
While an autocannon probably require you to open the ammunition slot, clear it from the previous belt, slam home the new one (and properly so it doesn't jam) and then do the whole feed motion.

Not vital information I know, just felt like sharing it.

I understand the concept of actions as Dad served, but it doesn't add up. However, we are playing a game : P

OK unless someone tells me otherwise I'm going to have Wikvaya treat Eirik first as he's right beside him and will be able to get him fighting this round. As cruel as it is, that's in keeping with the reverse triage that the military employs. Hopefully, he'll be able to start work on Cormaeg next round...

Miriam has no grenades. The Dominate stormtroopers didn't relieve you of your grenades and knives.

Yeah, this is rather unfortunate. We're so close to the end, too. I mean, it's the fate of all other PbP's I've ever played, but it's the longest running one I've ever played in.

Not the longest running game I have been in but well similar ending. Absalom gambit. Mini had to write the ending. Which sucked.

The squad members on the roof only have Cort and Harmon left to fire upon, without having a chance of hitting their own men

Damage 1: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 Pen 7 to the leg. The cover will add 6 AC here
Damage 2: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Pen 7 to the arm

Autocannon Bs +10 aim +10 close range -10 running target: 1d100 ⇒ 41
Damage: 3d10 + 8 ⇒ (4, 4, 6) + 8 = 22 Pen 6 to the Right arm, which is in ac 6 cover. This is really the one you need to dodge!

You'll be fine. You can prob run as far as Wikvaya in 1 turn... No no you can't with an AB of 3...

I need to check the outcome of -1 Energy damage to the arm when I get back, but generally it's little to nothing if you're wearing armour.

Don't worry it happens. It was just a small registry office affair. No honeymoon. We'll be having a proper wedding next year, but that's after the baby arrives...

BTW Jermaie, from your next round until circumstances change, you will basically have Cormeg's comrade Carno to act as your own. He is injured, and cannot run or charge. You don't have any comrade advances do you.

Thanks, a brand new comrade! Actually, I did buy the hail of fire comrade advance which allows us to make our shots that round cause some pinning checks.

You won't be able to use that with Carno, as he isn't trained in it.

Survivors of this encounter will be getting a lot of experience considering you just completed 2 objectives. So probibly you can learn how to use it.

If I was going to push the campaign beyond this scenario, however, you'd have a hard time holding onto it once you report back to HQ. That's how the imperial guard works, but Jermaie doesn't know that yet...

Okay, so Jermaie's only down to 1 wound. Goodie.
