This is going to be the hardest fight you've had yet. I've spiced the Dominate Troopers up a bit with rules from the Hammer of the Emperor book. Not to mention the fact that you are night fighting!

On a sidenote, ive been very useless the last couple fights and I apologize for that. I built my guy for melee and pistols, so long range fights are not my specialty. Still getting used to the mechanics of ranges versus the melee im used to with Deathwatch and Pathfinder.

It's no problem, Garion. If I specced for melee as well at the beginning, I'd be having the same problems as well.

I'm also a pistol man because of specialty. But I did make the ambush :p but no really we are a mixed unit squad and we really should have thought better about where we wanted to be in the map I feel like this is my fault cort should be where I am with Cormeg cause well they are both long range guys and I should have set everyone a bit closer. Now by the time I get there this will likely be over sorry guys will try tk do better in the future.

On the topic of getting into hand to hand this is an open landscape, so that requires work. However, later when you are infiltrating General Haravax Scarus's base, there will be a lot of scope for that.
@Garion - Charging the 7 men in one transport on your own, would be a fatal mistake
Also this is a 10 man squad, you all would know that there's a good chance that they're carring more than just lasguns

sorry i forget and lose track with long delays, and I thought I would not be still pinned since they all got out of the truck. I was under the impression it was the big guns that had me pinned

Oh believe me I know charging is a bad idea. Im actually trying to move up just far enough to be able to take shots and still be in cover. My pistol does not have the range to make staying on the cliff viable.

If you haven't been shot at on the same turn you get a +20 on your test to escape pinning, so you can pull back to where you can't be seen for a turn and escape then

The plan was to capture one of the vehicles and kill all the troops as quickly as possible. The one truck is destroyed so we need the one fleeing east intact if possible. Try to take out the Driver maybe? Hopefully they cannot get past the rockslide we made.
