Click here to answer that last question Jackie.

As for the rest, there's a good chance that there will be 3-5 other experienced players and a helpful GM at the table you end up playing at, so I don't think you have much to worry about.

Stay thristy my friend.

GM Granta wrote:
@Jackie: How often are you able to post? The specials tend to run faster than other PbP games. And being new to the format, you might need to check in more often than the other players.

For the first couple weeks, I'll probably only post in the evening, maybe once in the morning and once at lunch. Starting June 29, I'll be able to post just about anytime something is going on, as my contract will have ended. And yes, I just got into a group for a scenario starting Monday. Now I'm trying to figure out if I should subscribe for Cosmic Captive with the same character or if I'm better off creating another one in case this scenario isn't done by then...

Thank you! I'll make sure to update my character tonight.

Jackie, subscribe for Cosmic Captive with your current character and then if it becomes clear that you're not on track for finishing on time with the Confirmation, The World's Most Interesting GM will let you know and you can replace the character that you would be using in Cosmic Captive with a brand new one.

I will? I'm gonna assume JackieLane can handle that themself.

Looking for 4 or 5, CORE ONLY. TIER 3-4

Thanks! I just did that. And I should be able to handle this. If we're not done yet by then, I'll ask my GM what he thinks about the timing when we near the date of the beginning. ;) I wouldn't want to impose on The World's Most Interesting GM.

No worries JackieLane. I was glad to help. See you at a table someday.

Does running a scenario with different tiers at one scenario rear count as running it once per tier or one is allowed to run it again for credit per tier?

Liberty's Edge

It's the latter, you can only get one GM credit (chronicle) per scenario, regardless of tier. Applying chronicle is the same rules as if you were a player.

But running multiplies of the same scenario does count towards your GM star count.

Gracias. As long as a character who gets the credit is within the tier, say 1 to 5?

It says interest check but there was 3 people who expressed interest.

That is correct. But you can also apply a higher tier chronicle in advance so when that player reaches that level he applies the chronicle immediately.

Thanks. Can you explain how the AP PFS scenarios work. Do they just play the sanctioned events and get the 1 xp or is is 3 xp?

For an AP only the sanctioned portions count for PFS credit. You do get the full benefit of the chronicle sheet for the section though. (Typically it's 3 xp).

And again, as a GM you can apply it to a character prior to them hitting the correct levels as above, but they don't get credit until they hit the appropriate level. Alternatively, if you don't have a character in the level range, you could use a Pregen and apply it once the character hits the appropriate level.

Edit: Just some advice, these questions would likely work better in the discussion tab. If I'm stepping on toes here, I apologize preemptively.

#2-21: The Dalsine Affair (1-7) CORE

#2-21: The Dalsine Affair (1-7) STANDARD

Your mission takes you to the Taldan capital city of Oppara where the intricate web of political intrigue and ages-old religious conflicts threaten the Pathfinder Society’s presence in the land. When Baron Jacquo Dalsine’s cousin is implicated in a recent attack on Society allies, the situation becomes even tighter for the Pathfinders, and at the end of the day some members of the Dalsine family may not get out unscathed.

^ I love it when our GMs promote each other and help each other out!

Thank you Granta! Are you applying?

I am looking to run my first PBP scenario. Starting out with Confirmation. If you want to come along on my roller coaster ride the recruitment thread is here

Grand Lodge

Hey there. I was wondering if you could give me a bit of help. In the upcoming Cosmic Captive event, I am signed up along with a friend in the 3-4 rank, but we have since leveled to 5 and need to move. If possible we would like to stick together at a table and currently there seems to only be 1 slot open at different tables. I didn't want to move anyone around but could you possibly see if anyone is up for swapping into one or the other to open up two slots together for us? We are currently listed in GM Chyro 3-4 tier and once we leave that table will be down to 3 and need another player.

TriShadow>Kivuli>Rogue 4/ Investi 1>151777-15

Greymore>Crios Greymantle>Magus 4/ Monk 1>133512-13

Thanks in advance for any help.

I just did a quick rebalance of tables for Cosmic Captive Signups.

Does that look good for you two, now?

We have plenty of openings at the 3-4 tier still!

Hmm

Grand Lodge

Thank you very much. That is perfect. I will see if I can get another friend to join up with a 3-4 tier character.

We could use one more for the CORE run. Aiming for tier 3-4. Current group is

Wizard 4
Cleric 4
Barbarian 2/Rogue 1
Barbarian 3

Would a core ranger 2 work?

I'd be really cautious about playing that one below-tier--it's got a reputation.

The Chess wrote:

I do not think so.

Well, if it's a bow & arrow ranger it's not so bad.

Sovereign Court

There is room in the Tome of Righteous repose, if needed will run 2 tables depending on who applied

Tome of Righteous Repose

Looking for up to three lovable loser wizardy/bardic/rougish types to accompany three other Bad News Bears types as they run errands around Absolam in First Steps Part 1. We're going for RP heavy, so bring your (second-) best B-Guy. I plan to follow this game with the Confirmation.

I can bring a lvl 2 unchained rogue (signed up on the sheet) I did play it with a different char, a while back

Grand Lodge

I'm interested for First steps

Scarab Sages

I signed up for your First Steps! This could be my first PFS scenario, the character is almost done (one trait left and background). Feel free to check my profil, to be sure that I did not do any mistakes.

Sovereign Court

4 to 5 slots remain on table 2 for Tome of Righteous Repose. A 3-7 repeatable pfs scenario

Shadow Lodge

Now recruiting for a game of Honor's Echo.

DM Elanmorin's Honor's Echo recruitment thread

The game requires lvl 1 pregen characters and PFS credit can only be assigned to existing lvl 1 PFS characters.

First game as a PFS PbP DM, hope to do this right!

Shadow Lodge

And recruitment closed.

Players Otha, GM Cwethan, HedwickTheWorldly, Dane Severyn, The Chess and EvilMinion have been selected and can post in discussion/gameplay.

Thanks for the quick response!

Yeaaah, kinda sorta wished you hadn't. Now the place I wanted to be (and had placed myself) is full up. :(

Want to join my CORE 5-6 table instead?

Dark Archive

I have already moved to one from standard with a different character, but thanks for the offer. I don't actually have a CORE character in anywhere near the right 5-6 tier yet. ;)

I am sorry that I moved you from where you wanted to be, Abaal. :(

I will say that GM G is one of the most delightful GMs out there. If any of you out there have core characters in Tier 5-6 that wish to play, you couldn't ask for a better GM.

Hmm

Adventure card game tables online? I'd be curious to see how that works. ;)

Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

@Chyro, I think that must be a typo or something...I'm Graxzos Glyphkeeper, but not Jason MF, and Graxzos is already signed up for GM Granta's Cosmic Captive.

Dark Archive

Yeah, I've noticed a few errors on the sheet as well. There's also a couple people down for multiple tables as well I believe.

You're right Norv, pardon me there ^^

No worries. I found a new home elsewhere in the spreadsheet.

I originally signed up for his table for just that reason: I'd heard good things about Magabeus, but hadn't gotten to play for him yet. Then the 10-11 table actually got players though, and I can't pass up one of the rare opportunities to play high level core.
