Click here to answer that last question Jackie.
As for the rest, there's a good chance that there will be 3-5 other experienced players and a helpful GM at the table you end up playing at, so I don't think you have much to worry about.
Stay thristy my friend.

@Jackie: How often are you able to post? The specials tend to run faster than other PbP games. And being new to the format, you might need to check in more often than the other players.
For the first couple weeks, I'll probably only post in the evening, maybe once in the morning and once at lunch. Starting June 29, I'll be able to post just about anytime something is going on, as my contract will have ended. And yes, I just got into a group for a scenario starting Monday. Now I'm trying to figure out if I should subscribe for Cosmic Captive with the same character or if I'm better off creating another one in case this scenario isn't done by then...

Thank you! I'll make sure to update my character tonight.

Jackie, subscribe for Cosmic Captive with your current character and then if it becomes clear that you're not on track for finishing on time with the Confirmation, The World's Most Interesting GM will let you know and you can replace the character that you would be using in Cosmic Captive with a brand new one.

Thanks! I just did that. And I should be able to handle this. If we're not done yet by then, I'll ask my GM what he thinks about the timing when we near the date of the beginning. ;) I wouldn't want to impose on The World's Most Interesting GM.

Thanks. Can you explain how the AP PFS scenarios work. Do they just play the sanctioned events and get the 1 xp or is is 3 xp?
For an AP only the sanctioned portions count for PFS credit. You do get the full benefit of the chronicle sheet for the section though. (Typically it's 3 xp).
And again, as a GM you can apply it to a character prior to them hitting the correct levels as above, but they don't get credit until they hit the appropriate level. Alternatively, if you don't have a character in the level range, you could use a Pregen and apply it once the character hits the appropriate level.
Edit: Just some advice, these questions would likely work better in the discussion tab. If I'm stepping on toes here, I apologize preemptively.

Here's links for Terevalis' games:
#2-21: The Dalsine Affair (1-7) CORE
#2-21: The Dalsine Affair (1-7) STANDARD
Your mission takes you to the Taldan capital city of Oppara where the intricate web of political intrigue and ages-old religious conflicts threaten the Pathfinder Society’s presence in the land. When Baron Jacquo Dalsine’s cousin is implicated in a recent attack on Society allies, the situation becomes even tighter for the Pathfinders, and at the end of the day some members of the Dalsine family may not get out unscathed.

I am looking to run my first PBP scenario. Starting out with Confirmation. If you want to come along on my roller coaster ride the recruitment thread is here

Hey there. I was wondering if you could give me a bit of help. In the upcoming Cosmic Captive event, I am signed up along with a friend in the 3-4 rank, but we have since leveled to 5 and need to move. If possible we would like to stick together at a table and currently there seems to only be 1 slot open at different tables. I didn't want to move anyone around but could you possibly see if anyone is up for swapping into one or the other to open up two slots together for us? We are currently listed in GM Chyro 3-4 tier and once we leave that table will be down to 3 and need another player.
TriShadow>Kivuli>Rogue 4/ Investi 1>151777-15
Greymore>Crios Greymantle>Magus 4/ Monk 1>133512-13
Thanks in advance for any help.

I just did a quick rebalance of tables for Cosmic Captive Signups.
Does that look good for you two, now?
We have plenty of openings at the 3-4 tier still!

We could use one more for the CORE run. Aiming for tier 3-4. Current group is
Wizard 4
Cleric 4
Barbarian 2/Rogue 1
Barbarian 3

Looking for up to three lovable loser wizardy/bardic/rougish types to accompany three other Bad News Bears types as they run errands around Absolam in First Steps Part 1. We're going for RP heavy, so bring your (second-) best B-Guy. I plan to follow this game with the Confirmation.

Now recruiting for a game of Honor's Echo.
DM Elanmorin's Honor's Echo recruitment thread
The game requires lvl 1 pregen characters and PFS credit can only be assigned to existing lvl 1 PFS characters.
First game as a PFS PbP DM, hope to do this right!

Yeaaah, kinda sorta wished you hadn't. Now the place I wanted to be (and had placed myself) is full up. :(

I am sorry that I moved you from where you wanted to be, Abaal. :(
I will say that GM G is one of the most delightful GMs out there. If any of you out there have core characters in Tier 5-6 that wish to play, you couldn't ask for a better GM.

I originally signed up for his table for just that reason: I'd heard good things about Magabeus, but hadn't gotten to play for him yet. Then the 10-11 table actually got players though, and I can't pass up one of the rare opportunities to play high level core.
