I hope things are settled with the board?
Olimpia cuts down the mage with ease, he dies with his hand still outstretched from his futile spellcasting.
Roga again slams his heavy blade into the Orc, who refuses to go down, but is clearly dying on his feet. Ferocity is all that's keeping him up.
Raktar nearly flattens the Pistoleer attacking him, the man staggers but stays up with a pained grimace.
The Tech raider can see things falling apart around him, cursing he reloads and moves. Thinking the Dilana looks the most like a spellcaster he shots at her.
Pistol +PBS: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 8 + 1 = 17
Damage: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (3, 3) + 2 = 8
His bullets wounding her nastily.
Figgy, you are up. Two Pistoleers around you. Red with a double barreled pistol. Orange with a rapier.

Figgy Greasefitter |

Figgy backs up a little and throws another bomb at the Orange Gun man facing Raktar.
Bombing his touch: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 92d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 4) + 4 = 10
DC 16 Reflex save to avoid the 6 flat damage from me missing
"Why are you attacking us?" Figgy says in a shrill voice. sorry I edited

Raktar Garnok |

I think you mean Raktar, but close enough.

GM_DBH |

(Orange)Pistoleer Reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Orange steps quickly out of the radius that Figgy's bomb kicks up. He gives you a disbelieving look when you ask him the question.
He takes a 5' step and continues to attack Raktar
Rapier: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Red decides to remove the annoying bomber from the fight.
Pistol vs touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Blue Grits his teeth and tries to save his brother as he continues to attack Roga.
Axe musket: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Hitting him solidly, but hardly stopping the threat.
Now caught between two opponent Purple howls as his Orc blood keeps him on his feet. "Avenge me Brother!"
Axe musket: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
His blow connecting weakly.
Every one can now go. Figgy the Tech rider won't be effected by any of your actions so you can go with the others.

Olimpia Beta II |

Olimpia charges Red, trying to come to Figgy's aid. Her single attack cuts deeply, perhaps finding a vital spot.

"Hey you in the green. Don't you remember me? Where friends."

Raktar looks down as the ganger's rapier slides harmlessly from his armour. He shakes his head wearily at the surprised man, before his hammer comes round in a colossal backswing right at the man's chest.

Olimpia darts across the dusty ground and slashes Red deeply.

The Tech raider shakes off Dilana's spell, glaring at her with some fury. "You'll pay for that you Witch!"
Purple takes another fiery bolt to his back and collapses dead with no sound.
Waiting on Roga & Figgy.

Figgy Greasefitter |

Figgy yelps as the bullet strikes him deeply in the chest, hands working quick as lightning he whips another explosive flask at the bad guy Olimpia is attacking.

"You don't remember me?"
Blast, well it was worth a try.
On a side note GM_DBH, I will not over use spells like that. If you think I start to go to far with charms and spells like suffocate let me know. It is never fun when a caster 'breaks the world' so to speak.

Roga, savage technologist |

Another hit but there was only one assailant left, at least as far as Roga could see.
Hoping to put a foot of steel on the man's gut, he stabbed with both hands on the hilt of his greatsword.

Figgy sets Red alight with a well placed bomb.
Roga has the pleasure of seeing Blue reeling from the heavy blow he gives him.
The Tech raider looks around, feeling the tide of battle going against him. He shoots at Dilana but is ready to flee.

He takes 5' step away from Olimpia and shoots at her.

Just clipping her with a poor shot.
The party may all go again.

Jeremiah Johnston |

Seeing his original target finally fall, JJ turned his attention over to the one attacking Dilana. Seeing him using a pistol, JJ waltzes up to him, wanting to stay as close as possible in case he ran. "You are going to regret shooting her instead of running when you had the chance." He threatened as he shot him.

That hit misses me - I'm currently AC 23 thanks to Figgy's shield infusion. Thanks Figgy!
The thin blade of Raktar's opponent nearly catches him as it slides towards the joint at his elbow, but the extra reinforcement granted by Figgy's potion stops the blade from penetrating.
"That was your last mistake," he growls and his hammer flashes towards the man's skull.
Standard Action to attack orange.
Hammer attack, bless, Power Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 1 - 1 = 13
The ganger is as elusive as ever, and Raktar's swing goes wide.

Dilana Hemlock |

Dilana winches as the shot hits home.
Lancelot you were right, that was a bad idea.
Narrowing her eyes she uses the pistol as a prop again and her eyes flash green.
Evil VS to hit @ green. DC15 reduces to one round.

Olimpia Beta II |

Raktar Garnok |

Indeed you are, and have been since round 1.

Roga, savage technologist |

Roga grunted as one of enemies finally fell. He moved slightly aside and brought the full weight of his greatsword down on the hapless orc.
"I told you this was a bad decision."

Excluding Raktar, when I see that name all I can think of Reptar from Rugrats

GM_DBH |

Green curses as Jeremiah's shot hits him, there is a greedy look in his eyes as they see the tech pistol he's using.
Roga continues to slaughter the orcs, sending Blue to join his brother in the dirt.
Dilana gives Green a look heavy with menace.
Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
And he wilts under it.
Raktar & Olimpia both miss their slippery opponents.
Figgy again hit's Orange with a fiery explosion.
Green looks desperate and steps back from Jeremiah, even if he turns and runs now he's lost his gang and is prey for Scrapwall's many perils. He raises his pistol and shoots at Jeremiah. Maybe if he can get his hands on that tech pistol he can use it to barter his way into another gang?

The party can go again. Put them out of their misery.

Jeremiah Johnston |

JJ grunted as he got shot. He learned back in his first weapon lesson that bullet wounds weren't fun. Still, he'd lick his wounds once he was done with the bastard. "Like the pistol!?" He yelled, seeing the bandit eyeing his weapon. "Come take it from me!" He challenged, shooting him once more with the power of fire.

Fun Fact: One of my fellow player's characters in our game of Hell's Rebels was nicknamed Reptar because no one could remember his real name.

Raktar Garnok |

Raktar steps round to his opponent's side, hoping that he and Figgy might gain some advantage. "You won't be able to dodge my hammer forever," he snarls, anger beginning to well up inside his normally calm demeanour.
5ft step, hammer time.

Raktar Garnok |

That's x3 crit weapons for you - sometimes they end up with people very, very dead.

Olimpia Beta II |

Frustrated at her misses and wounded again, Olimpai is not willing to give up and let Red turn once again to Figgy. So she steps up and engages.

Figgy will head west then around the wall, double moving to get up to help the others.
"Someone may need our Help Springy, Raktar and Olimpia have that poor sod handled, I think he should just give up but I bet you he won't." Figgy says sadly as he departs the area.

Roga, savage technologist |

Roga grunted as the orc fell and turned to face the enemy battling JJ.
"Move over JJ; give me some room to swing this thing."
The greatsword swished through the air and into the enemy.
With the adrenaline flowing out of him, the barbarian used a wide swing to get some power into his tired limbs.

Dilana Hemlock |

Thinking she might try something new she casts a minor spell 'daze' on the attacker right next to here.
DC13

GM_DBH |

And you wipe them out. Not bad for a bunch thrown together from the Villain Codex. Well worth getting for making some quick random encounters.
You've just made your first point of Scrapworth by wasting a group of lowlifes waiting close to the entrance to jump what they hoped were Noobs. And now everyone can now level up to 5th.

Raktar Garnok |

Another great encounter - I would have had no idea that it wasn't scripted if you hadn't said. Awesome work GM!
Raktar lowers his hammer as the last of the ambushers is defeated. "Are we going to run into this much trouble everywhere in Scrapwall?" he asks.

Olimpia Beta II |

Agree. Great encounter. With a wizard throwning AOEs and most everyone getting shot multiple times I was getting worried! :) And level 5, sweet!

Dilana Hemlock |

Echoing the others. It felt right on point for the AP.

Figgy Greasefitter |

"Springy I feel that if there were some other Gnomes here they would be excited about all the new things that have been liberated. We shall make drawings of all of these for research purposes." Figgy goes around looking at everything.
"This town is interesting, not sure I like it but they do have lots of neat gadgets." Figgy says to his companions.

Jeremiah Johnston |

Liked the encounter. Challenging, yet fun. Just wish my pistol didn't get performance anxiety. lol
Raktar lowers his hammer as the last of the ambushers is defeated. "Are we going to run into this much trouble everywhere in Scrapwall?" he asks.
"Until we get our scrapworth up... most likely." JJ replies before kicking one of the bandit's corpses to make himself feel a little better from being burnt and shot at. Once that was done, he retrieved his pistol from the ground and looked it over. "Great... gonna take me an hour at best to fix it up." As he holstered it for later cleaning, he looked over his tech pistol. Even if he had practiced with it in private, its first combat test in his hands was a success. "Good job out there." He said, patting it a few times before holstering it as well.
"If you think our new loot is neat, then you'd be left speechless of places like Starfall. Scrapwall's been mostly picked clean of anything truly worthwhile as far as I know, and I know enough. All that's really left is the crumbs of the bottom of the barrel."

Figgy Greasefitter |

Figgy just looks star struck at the thought of a place not all picked over like this.
"Maybe I can start to crate these things, I feel I have learned enough to start making things." Figgy continues to make sketches as the rest sort out what they want to take.

GM_DBH |

As you survey and divide the spoils of your fiery introduction to life in Scrapwall you all notice a small hat on the end of a musket being waved wildly from behind a small pile of scrap and refuse.
A female voice pipes up hopefully. "Hello, I seem to have lost my gang. Are you hiring?"
Roga recognizes it as the voice of the Halfling who fled the fight as soon as he got close to her.
Picture of the Little devil up top.

Jeremiah Johnston |

Hearing the voice as he gathered up the spoils, JJ looked to the source of the voice, his hand reflexively going for his pistol in case of trouble. Even if she seemed friendly enough, this was Scrapwall. She could just as easily rob them as she could help them. Still, she seemed smart enough to stay out of trouble when the going got tough for her former gang. Perhaps she would be smart enough to not pull any kind of funny business.
"That depends..." JJ inquired, trying to get a feel for the halfling's real intentions. "What do you think you can do to help us out?"
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Raktar Garnok |

Raktar stows one of the chain shirts in his backpack, just in case, and is instantly on alert when a small voice pipes up.
His hand drifts towards his hammer, coloured by his early experience of Scrapwall and now wary of further tricks.

Olimpia Beta II |

Olimpia is busy collecting and handing our spoils when the girl speaks up. She likely knows Scrapwall. That is worth something.

Dilana Hemlock |

Dilana had been poking at her bullet wound but decides to join the conversation.
"My friends have missed the first question they should have asked, what is your name? I'm Dilana. Were those people your gang?"

Roga, savage technologist |

Roga was not too happy about this, "Didn't you just shoot at me?"
He looked at the others, "Are we sure we want to associate with someone whose loyalties change at the drop of a pin?"

Olimpia Beta II |

I saw her shoot at Dilana, but she missed. Olympia adds as she continues to look over the loot. Anyone got any healing?

Raktar Garnok |

With others busy questioning the Halfling, Raktar offers to look at Dilana and Olimpia's wounds. "I can close some of those wounds with magic. I assume it would work as well on androids as everyone else," he muses, unfamiliar with the substances from which Olimpia was created.
I've got 5 1st level slots left for CLW. Did we ever pick up that wand that we keep talking about?

Dilana Hemlock |

I have a wand of CLW 48/50 so I can take care of myself and olimpia, save the spells.
While waiting for answers Dilana pulls out her wand and shares its magic with Olimpia.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
She looks at her own wound and shrugs before poking the wand directly onto the bullet hole.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Roga, savage technologist |

The barbarian took out his own healing wand and approached Raktar and Dilana, "I bought this but I think one of you needs to use it on me. I'm not quite sure."
-------------
Roga is down 20 hp and has his won wand

Raktar Garnok |

I feel like we should be buying these out of party funds, but it's good that someone remembered to buy one at least!
"I can help you with that," Raktar says, using a spark of magic to channel the wand's magic into Roga's wounds.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
"Is that better?" he asks, seeing Roga's wounds mostly healed.
Leaves you 4 HP down, unless you want to burn another charge.

Figgy Greasefitter |

Figgy watching the trade of words with the Halfling takes the new offered pack and starts to repack his things into it.
"Once we settle for the night I can organize this better. My Uncle Nefander said I was the best packer he had ever seen."
Realizing he is wounded as well, Figgy pulls out the Needle gun he got, bracing himself he sticks the pointy end in first.

Fascinated, Olympia watches as the bullet holes mostly close up in her own flesh. [b]Amazing. We are all constructs in a way.[/b[] she says. She touches a small remaining wound and winces slightly with the touch.
Mostly better. Still down 3 points.

Jeremiah Johnston |

"When you get the chance, I could use some healing as well. While some people may like the feel of burnt skin and bullet wounds, I'm not one of them." JJ said, requesting one of his magically inclined allies for some aid.
Down 31 points... unless I get 10 points back from the level up. In that case, down 21 points
