***Background***
Chasik was born in Cassomir. His father worked the docks as a longshoreman, while his mother was a local bar wench. They were simple folk, worked long hard hours, and relaxed just as hard. His father always told Chasik from a very young age, work hard, but play just as hard. Don't let life slip by.
When Chasik was old enough, about 12 or so years old, he went to help his father in the yard. He wasn't the strongest man there, or the most nimble. He was however, one of the hardest working and seemed to keep going when the other men in the yard gave up because they were tired.
When Chasik turned 16, his father pulled him aside and asked his son one very important question, What do you want to do with your life boy? It can't certainly be a longshoreman life your old man?
Chasik thought for a moment, not wanting to disappoint his father, then opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off by his father, who sensed his caution.
I see you thought about what to say, you won't disappoint me son. The goal of a father is to provide their son or daughter more then what they had. To help them grow to be more then what they may see inside of them. I know you may think you want to be a longshoreman like me, but I don't want you to wake up one day wondering what could have been. I put in a good word for you with a friend of mine, Boston Goldsmith. He is a local trainer for up and coming students in the Society. I would like you to see him and see what your potential is. Afterwards, if you still want to follow in my shoes then so be it, I just want you to give it a try for me.
After his fathers speech, Chasik cried a little, but did as his father had asked. He met with Boston, and after some tests, Boston felt he would make a good fighter. He may not hit like a wrecking ball, but he'd be damned if he couldn't take a blow, or ten. He was one of the hardiest men (even by Dwarf standards), that had ever entered the den, as Boston put it. Boston trained with Chasik, for 2 years, teaching hi how to take hit after hit, and train his body to withstand grueling amount of punishment Endurance/Die Hard/Toughness, MIND OVER MATTER was drilled into his head. During his training, he was taught how to use a variety of weapons, and since the trainers had thought he was bull headed because he wouldn't drop, Chasik chose the warhammer as his preferred weapon. That's how he got the nickname "Bash" he would bash his foes into submission, since he was too stubborn to fall down even if his body was exhausted.
After all his training, he graduated his academy, not necessarily #1 in the class, but that didn't matter to hm. He was fulfilling his father's wishes. He got summoned by his Venture Captain, he was assigned an important mission, which is where he is off to now.
***Physical Description***
He is not a physical specimen. Above average in brute strength and nimble feet. By golly if he can't take a pounding though. He has light brown hair and bronze skin from all the days of working in the sun on the docks. He has hazel green eyes, with a determination behind then that rivals his own common sense at times.
***Personality***
Chasik doesn't anger easily, he tries to stay cool headed. He loves to have a cold ale or two after a long days work, and enjoys playing as hard as he works.
