Evan, that was just an assessment based on who'd signed up thus far, so that may also change along with the date -- we'll have to see once we get closer. You never know how fast people level up their characters and/or who has what available!

Listen up, recruits! The telltale bold bellowing of Karu can be heard echoing through the halls of the Flaxseed Lodge. Rufus Rufinus, Dalendry Unfallin, Ryuchi, Cyrinda Wix, Fuzzfoot Hogan, and Jamamros Samulkin... Who named you people? Were your parents on Pesh when they had you? Either way, VC Moldreserva will be here in the morning. You are to be here at 6am sharp for the briefing before we ship you off to Absalom. If you are even one minute late, we are pulling you from the mission and you get the pleasure of ten bouts in the arena with me.

Karu's tone and face softens. Now that the new recruits have been taken care of. I've just received word that the mission to the Mwangi Expanse has been greenlit. Looks like Jarlgur, Nevaeh, Grimnir and Faldoc Tisbane have been selected for the mission. The ship will be leaving in the morning for the Expanse. I will escort you to the ship to handle the payment and such.

As for Rychy's question: no, it's a different group. This one started out a bit after Xavian's, but two of the players were part of my "original" PFS PBP group. Those two have actually taken time off the boards, but these other guys are really good. And once I get back into the swing of GMing, I still plan to offer a reunion game to Xavian and gang, even if it's only for a scenario or two.

Risen from the Sands (levels 2-4) has been added to EF's signup sheet. This is last summer's "Free RPG Day" module so it is roughly the length of a normal scenario and awards 1 XP. I will be at a department retreat this Friday (*groan*) so I will likely start it up this weekend, rolling for winners if more than six people sign up.

Signed up on the sheet, should have character sheet up to par by this weekend. I did run this scenario as part of Free RPG Day, but suspect I can keep the metagaming out of my posts.

Risen filled up a lot faster than I expected; I thought everyone would have played it already. I'll give everyone until tomorrow to sign up if they want. Right now we're at six so if no one else signs up I'll take those six.

Almost as if he could read their thoughts, Karu the Bold Strider walks up behind the two new Pathfinders. Almost dead ain't dead, boys. Ain't had the pleasure of dead yet, either. Stick with me and hopefully you won't either.

"I've just received a note from Venture-Captain Sheila Heidmarch," the local halfling Venture-Captain begins as he addresses the common room of off-duty agents, "it seems a Magnimarian tax collector out to collect the taxes from a small Varisian town has not been heard from in two weeks. The government has asked the Pathfinders to look into it and Sheila has asked me to send along some agents to take care of the matter. Come see me if you'd like to head to Varisia!"

Feast of Ravenmoor has been added to EF's sign-up sheet. This is a full-length module designed for level 3 characters (so you can play levels 2-4); I will take six people and roll if more than six sign up. I will likely make the decision by Wednesday unless it fills up particularly fast.

Modules typically take a few months, although this one looks like it may be on the faster end, just to warn those who have not played modules via PbP before.

I'm not able to post to the sign up sheet, but Rhoswen will be available for this.

Vasily Petrescu, the Varisian Bard of some slight renown is glad to be heading back to his homeland, the wilds of Varisia. He has heard for a while now about something odd going on in Ravenmoor, time to go check it out, I guess.

Added to the sign up sheet. Can change to a more melee type lvl 3 fighter depending on make up of the party.

"I, too, can go on this adventure, I suppose. They say I've been down in my lab too long anyway... Bah, but what do they know?" A very pale elf with a wide-brimmed hat reluctantly packs up his kit and heads to answer the call.

Though his face and garb appear worn, the young man now seating himself in the far corner carries himself with a stately grace. From his mess kit he produces what appear to be a well-used, but not inelegant, single service pot and demitasse. The man's hand flares briefly beneath the pot and the aroma of earthen spice and chocolate begins to waft across the room.

I shall await orders here, until there is need of my talents. I welcome any who would care to join me in a story and a cup of coffee.

Recruitment for the module Ruby Phoenix Tournament has been added to EF's sign-up sheet. It is designed for level 11 characters so you can play level 10-12.

Again, this is a full-length module so will take several months to complete. I would also classify this one on the longer side so be prepared to be committed to it for quite some time (especially if it goes into December as I'll be traveling for a few weeks). I will start up once we have a full party assembled, hopefully by this weekend. I doubt I'll have more than six for something that high-level but if I do I'll roll for who gets in.

Ah ha, I remember when I participated in the Ruby Pheonix Tournament. It was a glorious time. The challenges were child's play when compared to the strength of my fists and my fortitude. I remember one time... well, why don't I just let you lot find out on your own... Karu proudly proclaims.

It's a lot of fun. I will probably run it once I finish Season 0.

Hahaha! Of course not! Those were the days! Only what... nine and a half more years before we are called back as judges? I doubt they will find anyone of our caliber. Remember when I punched that behemoth back to the Boneyard in a single blow? Not had that much fun in a while, too busy tutoring these new recruits...

Desmond's just about to reach 10th level. I want to get him in the Ruby Phoenix Tournament at some point.

Malachite is honored to be chosen by the VC's to go on the mission to Oppara. Something about a secret dig site and an opera. He stops and busy earplugs before getting on the boat to Taldor.

After finishing his Confirmation, and quick trip to Magnimar in Varisia dealing with a rogue Goblin Guild, the Oread Monk is ready to see more of the wide world, but not sure Opera is his thing...

Mal is level 1.2 now, so should be 2 when we finish the second part. Think he'll still be able to go on part 3 which is 3-7? If not, he can get off the bus and someone else more seasoned can get on when we get there.

After returning to the deserts of Osirion Farg sniffs around the Lodge a bit.

Farg is just about to hit level 5. He'd be down for a little trip to Opara.

"Lots of interest in going to Varisia I see! I know there are a few more veteran agents out there capable of competing in the Gokan tournament though!"

Feast has more than six players; I'll roll for winners tonight. Ruby Phoenix is predictably slower to fill up and we may have to wait a few weeks for Desmond to become available.

If you get to six people other than Desmond, feel free to go ahead. But I really do want Desmond to do it, since he's got his Smine-crafted performance weapon.

Just re-read the boon. It ain't a performance weapon, but provides a bonus to performance combat rolls

I'm currently on assignment with V.C. Tektite, but would love a chance to attend the tournament.

Don't know how long Quinn will be locked, but this scenario will put him to 10th. I do have a lvl 12, but I'm saving him for GM credit for Eyes.

Tarondor, you may do either. A single post here will allow you to follow the forum easily. Later on if you see a recruitment for a game you want to join in on, you can make an in character post for a character you want to use (you will still need to apply on the GM's signup sheet).

Tarondor, feel free to post as any character you wish. Linked to at the top of the page are various sign-up sheets for different GMs. Go ahead and sign up any tier-appropriate character you'd like for any of them.
