Trotter strides into the Lodge, unable to control the ecstatic grin spreading across his face as he addresses his fellow Pathfinders. "My good agents! I have a quick announcement! As many of you know, I have been hard at work with several other experiences Pathfinders on a secret mission in Galt working with the Decemvirate's special agent Osprey and Venture Captain Eliza Petulengro. Well, I am glad to say that our business has been completed and in thanks for my service, the Decemvirate has seen fit to promote me as your new Venture Captain!" Trotter pauses for a few seconds, clearly expecting applause and perhaps cheering.

"Thank you, thank you! Well, I am honored to serve as your Venture Captain and I look forward to leading you on many missions to come! Now let's get back to work!" Trotter hops down from the table he was standing on and strolls about the Lodge, making small talk and checking up on everyone's progress on missions and research.

A tall stern-looking elf stands and says. "Congratulations good sir. Well earned!"

Well done, sir! Even the Taldan is impressed by such an achievement.

The retired half elf sitting in the corner reading a book raises his glass at the announcement.

"Bravo my good Halfling! Well deserved for your efforts coordinating missions for our Society."

After a bit of applause, Ernest raises his hand to ask a question. "But Captain, weren't you already a Captain, since you already had a Lodge? Does that make you some kind of double-captain, or a Venture-Major, or something? Oh, and when is the Ball you mentioned earlier this year?"

Your friendly halfling Venture-Captain stands upon a table to address the room at large. "Pathfinders! I have a very unique opportunity! I've been given some tickets to the Karcau Opera House, a big deal with the ticket prices being what they are—not to mention the cost of seats in a private box-and I have been told to send along some of my agents to the event. Please come see me if you'd like to attend. Oh, I'd like to go myself!"

You sure you don't like killing PCs? :) I was going to sign up with my new magus (if you can't beat 'em, join 'em), but the first couple reviews says it's lethal for the 1-2 tier. Would you accept a lvl 4 pregen? Would probably play the wizard - he'll be my new magus's husband and the credit will buy his wayfinder for her. A little prequel for her career.

The level of the pregen (4 or 1) depends on the tier of the rest of the party, but I would prefer not to have pregens, especially if you have a real character available.

I'll sit this one out, then. I don't have a leveled 4, and too many reviews of this scenario says that PCs in tier 1-2 are likely to be unprepared for the encounters. I don't want to create a lvl 1 just to sacrifice (I don't like having too many unplayed/unplayable aliases - just a thing).

I had Jaysin dot those threads, he is still 3rd. If we end up with a bunch of 1-2s I can bring a 1.2 barbarian instead.

Just dotted with my level 1 sorcerer.

PFS 0-16 T Scale the Dragon (5th-9th)
PFS 0-26 Lost at Bitter End (7th-11th)
PFS 1-09 The Beggar's Pearl (1st-7th)

I currently have two GameDay games already, but if time allows, I was going to see about trying to make these also part of the gameday, but can't promise it will work out.

I am willing to but I don't see any games with more than three people available (not counting hustonj because he's been gone for over a week and I'm not sure when/if he's coming back). You can join Darkest Vengeance if you want but don't feel obligated; I'm sure a 5-9 game will open up soon enough.

A wizardess with skin and eyes as black as the void between the stars enters the lodge, and bows respectfully to the newly-appointed Venture-Captain. "My respects, Venture-Captain Flaxseed. I have come to look for work. Unfortunately I have already attended that session at the opera, but I'll gladly recommend it to any thrillseeker of the Society. The tall, grizzled ranger pops back into the Flaxseed Lodge to warm himself by the fire. "Well, they didn't get me yet, Venture-Captian Flaxseed. After that hare-brained scheme you had me sniffing out in Varisia I was lucky enough draw a few more jobs. Got a couple more. They need me over in Cheliax for a bit. If that goes well then it's off to the north to establish a base camp for the march on Jormurdun. After that, I'm at your disposal once again. I've been working a lot with my wolf Grimtooth lately. He's been out with me more often, and he's gotten to be quite big. I won't be leaving him behind anymore..."

A slender man wearing a smoked glass mask enters the lodge bearing a note in his claws. The blood-red wax seal bearing the imprint of a flesh puppet. He strides up to Venture Captain Flaxseed.

I hear you just finished recruiting for a mission to the opera... blech. You need to find missions at a real concert, not some weird singsong dance routine. Now, a rock opera could be amusing... Either way, I'm swamped down here in Jistka... I mean Rahadoum. I need more slaves after my last batch passed out from the heat carrying my palanquin. I'm sending you my messenger. He's well suited to the task of subtle observation and manipulation. Be express in what you send him for though. If left to his own devices, he tends to be a bit... dark. I'm sure you will be able to utilize him for some future endeavors.

P.S. - His pesh is the best on the southern continent, but don't let him get too crazy, otherwise he'll have your whole team addicted before you set foot from the lodge.

The man stands still as a statue as Trotter reads the note. Upon Trotter finishing the note, he states "George of Daggermark, reporting for service."

Trotter looks over George's note and nods. "Thank you very much, George, and nice to meet you! Ace is a fine agent and his recommendations weigh heavily in my considerations!"

"Now agents!" Trotter announces as he stands up on a table to be seen. "I've got two assignments that I'll need some help with: first of all, the Pathfinder Society has tracked down the hideout of a group of Zyphus worshipers who caused some havoc in Oppara some time ago and they'd like a group to go investigate. Secondly, there was an agent studying the Decklands family, a house of Chelish nobles, who recently turned up murdered and the Society would like a group to investigate the Decklands' vault in Absalom to find the connections between the family's old home and our late colleague. I'm running 01-49 Among the Dead (1-7) and 01-55 The Infernal Vault (1-7). I've already got three lower level characters signed up for the Infernal Vault and one low level wizard for Among the Dead. The Bourtze Family, has fallen on hard times and they've informed the Pathfinder Society that, in exchange for a small sum of money, they'd be willing to part with a treasure trove of lore about Qadira's Grand Campaign, the 300-year invasion of Taldor. Come speak with me if you are interested."

Looks like Sniper is going for low tier and Jester's Fraud is going for high tier if that matters to anyone.

Flaxseed adventurers! I need some adventurers to look into an issue in Ustalav for the Decimvirate. If you have the stones to apply, sign your name... I will be running 03-16 Midnight Mauler (3-7) as soon as I have enough volunteers. Looking for a party of 4-5. Beware! Also, this should finish off EndlessForms entire playability for 3-7 scenarios, which is cool. Sign-up is attached to the Excel Google Doc at the top of the thread.

Hey everyone! In case you haven't noticed, there are only four games left on the signup spreadsheet. Yes, this means that these are the last four scenarios before I catch up to the current season, and most of those I'll be running at GenCon in August. I've also got a bunch of games nearing completion within the next week or so and would like to start those up ASAP so please update your characters' availabilities on the spreadsheet.

Also note that there are only three signed up for Ron/Karu/Ace's Midnight Mauler game on the spreadsheet. If you're interested, come join us!

Bah, I only have the one guy in 7-11 tier and that game won't end anytime soon. Bizzle will hit 6th once his game is over but I do not have a way to get him to 7.

Karu examines the sign-up sheet... Hmm... we have more volunteers than I was prepared for. He crosses off a few names and draws a few arrows. Pathfinders, consult the party list and come see me when you are ready to leave for the mission. Remember, stride boldly for you never know what lies ahead.

I will set up two Midnight Mauler games. One high tier, one low tier. Each with four players. The division are as follows:

Group 1: High Tier - Beleg, Quarr, Fredrick, Aod
Group 2: Low Tier - Sutekh Amun, Chasik, Ennoia, Tarquin

I'm a bit confused here, wouldn't the GM be EF? Waiting on his answer before I dot the threads.

EF gave me permission to recruit through the Flaxseed Lodge for Midnight Mauler. It is his last 3-7 scenario to play, so I figured I would run it for him and anyone else who was interested.

Anyone can recruit though the Lodge here, however they want. Especially because I'm running out of games to GM, I encourage other GMs to do so. Besides, I like to play now and then, even if I'm running out of games to play too!

Also, Ennoia is in the final combat of my Infernal Vault game but hopefully that will wrap up in the next few days.

Mike, just create a new PFS # and see if you can get that up to 5 Star GM status. I think you could do it in under a year.

Yep, it's gotten worse this season I think.

By the way, is mentioning "his husband" in reference to Aakir al'Hakam a typo or is there something I didn't know about him? Paizo has had homosexual NPCs before, I just didn't realize that about him.

Oh, I'll play.

I've heard somewhere much earlier this year that he's gay, but I don't remember where. I think a PC in Rah's games said something, but I just assumed it was speculation in a void. Might be buried somewhere in a scenario or something.

I don't recall the reference, but Paizo is not homophobic or exploitive of sexual preference, so it could be true or a typo.

It was some character named Peri or Pali or something. Referenced it at that one of the now many dinner party scenarios.

Having now GM'd almost everything (except three scenarios now), I don't recall seeing a reference to it anywhere. That doesn't mean it wasn't there, he may have even been with his husband at one of those dinner parties, but for some reason I didn't even catch on until now. I hope they don't get rid of him with the faction changes, I like him a lot. Way better than the Sczarni guy, who looks creepy as f@$%.
