GM Tektite here. Looking for one more player for #6-07 Valley of the Veiled Flame. Right now, we're lookng at high tier with the four player adjustment.
Indeed, the "every-dwarf-ever-except-for-Orryn" party. LOL

Twas a good time. I have been resisting the urge to get hooked on Flaxseed games, but alas, I've finally failed my will save. Looks like there isn't much currently in the hopper, but that may be a good thing.

That was an awesome party, awesome scenario, awesome session. Highly recommended if anybody wants to jump into Tektite's run!

EndlessForms |

EF goes in bursts. When he gets really rolling, he'll juggle half a dozen at once. I dunno how he finds the time, LOL.
I think my record was 9 scenarios at once last year. But I've been transitioning to running a couple more APs and fewer scenarios. It's more to do with the fact that I've GM'd every scenario so once a month I run the new ones when they're released but that's about it.
Also when I got back from New Zealand a month ago I started up three modules at once. Which may or may not have been too much....
But now that the Core Campaign is out, I'll probably start running some of those here and there. I've been debating starting one up soon, so keep a look out for that in the next few days perhaps.

A sour-faced halfling steps up onto the table so that everyone can see him. He sneers as he announces, "Well, it seems most of the family is away so I'm stuck with making the announcements today."
He rolls his eyes and reads from a clipboard. "I'm looking for a core group of agents to head back to Absalom. It seems there's trouble in the Puddles District and the Pathfinders are needed, as usual. Come see me for details!"
I will be running 00-01 Silent Tide (levels 1-5) for the Pathfinder Society Core Campaign. If you are unfamiliar with the Core Campaign, see the link. Basically it is a parallel campaign to PFS where the character creation rules are mostly limited to the Core Rulebook.
If you are interested, please add your name to my signup sheet. I imagine it will be very popular so I will roll for winners tomorrow night and start the game on Wednesday.
Good luck everyone!

"FINALLY! I'm tired of going to school. I want to get me some action. It better not be one of those highfalutin wedding missions either!"

![]() |

I was going to wait but I remembered that I have something going on tomorrow night so I'll go ahead and get Silent Tide started right away:
Six slots. Seven people. Who will win?
1 RyckyRych
2 DM S
3 Fuzzfoot
4 thunderspirit
5 BoldStrider
6 Deane Beman
7 Gilthanis
Unfortunately one person will be left out: 1d7 ⇒ 3
Sorry Fuzzfoot! Better luck next time. There will be more chances in the future.
"Um," Bart warily addresses the crowd once again. "Ok, so I've got the list of agents heading back to Absalom. Get on your way!"
Here are the winners for the Core game of Silent Tide:
The campaign is here. Please check in to the Gameplay and Discussion threads when you get the chance and we'll start right away!

Um...hello. I was directed here because I want to participate in Organized Play online, since there was Organized Play where I live for a few years, but is now comatose for the foreseeable future (and I was the longest-standing obelisk through it all). I have 11 characters who have seen play (with more waiting in the wings) of levels ranging from 1-8. One is a Dhampir, for whom I have a Boon, and I have a couple of Aasimar from when they were legal. Some of my DMs were pretty spotty about reliably reporting adventures completed, so not all of my characters' earned Chronicles are recorded here (maybe I could E-mail photos to whomever asks for them or something).
So: How does this all work?

EndlessForms |

Hello! You'll note that there are a bunch of signup sheets at the top of the page. That's the best place to start. If you just watch this thread, you'll notice that GMs will make announcements about upcoming games and usually post the links. There's also the recruitment section of the forums, but I think most of us find that this page is easier to navigate if you are solely looking for PFS play. Good luck and we look forward to seeing you in some games in the future!

If your question is even broader - like, "How does Play-by-Post work?" - then take a look at this thread for some basics and this one for more advanced ideas on PbP.

The Campaign Info tab at the top of the page also has some advice and links to those guides as well.

I think I know how Play-by-Post works - I've been playing a few "home games" on here for a while.
I did look at those signup sheets. I'm not positive I understand what to do with those. More than one of them seem to be for this new "Core Only" thing that I have no interest in (and couldn't really play any of my existing characters in anyways).
Is this just a "watch this space for details" thread that I check periodically and wait for someone to announce a game? Put another way, which happens first: Me saying I want to play, or a DM saying they have something to run?

EndlessForms |

A GM will announce that they are recruiting for a game or that they have games available on their sign-up sheet. Just add your name to their signup sheet and when they start the game they will make an announcement. Some GMs use a lottery to determine who gets in (like me), others will just take the first six people to sign up on their spreadsheet. Others don't use a spreadsheet and just make an announcement on here that they are looking for players.

![]() |

I've listed my extant characters on your signup sheet; tell me if anything's amiss.

GM Bold Strider |

As some help, listing all of your characters on EF's form isn't going to do much as he isn't recruiting right now and he will erase that when he posts a new recruitment as it will be for a specific game and you will have to put your character up to be in his lottery.
When I post for recruitment, you can go to my Excel and do the same, however I usually just take the first six in a subtier. Sometimes, if there is enough interest, I will split 7+ people into two groups, so feel free to add more to my recruitments if it is "full".
I know that Lithrac, Tektite and Rah run sheets similar to mine and EF's.

![]() |

Thanks.
By the way, here's a weird Organized Play question for you: Of the two of my characters who are Aasimar from back when they were freely legal to play, one is presently a "fresh" level 2, meaning she's still eligible for me to play Mr. Potato Head with her so long as I do so before her next game - doing that now, since she's a legitimate member of the "Planetouched-YES" generation, can I turn her into a Tiefling?

![]() |

Darn. I have a pretty clear character concept for a Tiefling. Is it possible to earn Convention Boons by playing this way? I figure there are still Race Boons out there that permit Planetouched.

If you have other boons to trade, you can find a few places on the forums where people will trade them. And it is possible to earn boons online. There are generally two "PbP Gamedays" per year (one just wrapped up last month). They are more like game-months, as you have a few months to finish your game but playing in Gameday games is just like playing at a convention and gives you a chance to win a boon.

Correct.

Just registered a level 1 Maneuver Master Monk for Crypt of the Everflame with Qwerty. I hope I did it correctly.

"AH-HEM!!! Your attention please!" A heady mix of strange smells wafts in from a newly opened door to a backroom of the Lodge. Standing in front of it is a red-skinned girl with large curling horns buried in her hair and a heavily stained frock adorning her front in a bright array of spilled color. "This just in!" she says excitedly, much too loud for the relative quietude of the room. "Via CARRIER PIGEON! Hee hee, are they strange animals? I'd love to dissect one or three. Actually I'd probably need a whole dozen. Say, are there any familiars or animal companions about? Wait, hang on. I was saying something. Oh, right! Ha ha ha hee hee, this looks interesting!!!"
"Right! Orders from the Decemvirate! The big bosses! They need a team to travel to Rahadoum right away. The requested agents are listed here! On this paper! In my hand!" The keen of eye can spy a small crumpled note crushed in the scaly hand raised above her head.
Trex here, my Port Godless game is finally starting, many apologies for the long long wait. Looks like it will be low tier (5-6). Recruits are as follows:
Recruits:
Sir Terramor the Blue Knight (Tarondor)
Fenrik (qwerty1971)
Kargen Hapspring (Enchanter Tim)
Oriandor Coronalis (BlackPowderChocobo)
Baal-Hostem (Peter Nielson)
Nokazi Stoneclaw (Vasari)
Alternates:
Tarri Millfurrough (Destrina)
Tarquin (Jolly Roger)
Recruits, please dot the Gameplay thread in character HERE. Since it's been a couple of months since I opened recruitment for this, I expect there will be a no-show or two, so I will PM the Alternates if that is the case.

EndlessForms |

Sir Terramor is currently in my Broken Chains game. As it's a module, it will be quite a long time before we finish up. I think we're only about half way through at most.

![]() |

Okay, thanks for letting me know! In that case, I'll take both Alternates (Destrina and Jolly Roger) and if everyone else shows I'll just run a seven player table. Nobody misses out! :)
"Tar-ri and Tar-quin! The two Tars, hee hee! You've been called up too! To the harbor, quick as a coconut!"

DM Panic |

It's nearly Spring, so I'm going to pop out of PbP GMing retirement to run a couple scenarios. For kicks, if there's enough Core Campaign sign-ups, I'll run it in Core Campaign (or if there's enough total sign-ups, I'll run multiple games in both).
Scenarios offered right now are 6-10 Wounded Wisp [L1-2; Core and/or Classic] and 0-08 Slave Pits of Absalom [L1-5; Core].
I'm looking to start ASAP and tend to favor small groups where each participant posts 1-2x/day.
Carry on!

![]() |

Can't access sheet right now, but I'd love to do 6-10 Wounded Wisp (Classic). With this character.

Thanks Mecha.

5 sign-ups for Wounded Wisp "classic" and 6 sign-ups for Slave Pits "core" means I can definitely get started on some tables tomorrow.
I'll leave the sign up sheet open a little longer, if there are 8 or more for any specific game, I'll just run 2 tables of the same scenario and break them into 2 groups of 4.

Pirate Rob |

I've got my Scarzni Merchant from the Dwarven city of Janderhoff signed up.
Zandu Karela has 1 xp from The Confirmation and the boon that allows him to continue play as an Occult Class.

I'd say "Sign me up!" but I did that myself. :)

DM Panic |

OK, with the current Wisp (Classic Campaign) sign-ups, I'm going to start splitting some folks off into tables as a pre-muster.
Table 1 (Discussion Thread)
Rick
Scizzoot
Pirate Rob
Tarondor
Table 2 (Discussion Thread)
Merck
PatheticWretch
I'm Hiding In Your Closet
I wager a few more folks may pop between now and Saturday, so I'll continue to round out the 2 tables as they do. The next sign-up will be at Table 2 and we can alternate.
If your name is above, feel free to check into the discussion threads anytime.
(I'm giving Slave Pits a little more time before I see if it will be one game or two)

I would also be interested in the Classic Wounded Wasp if there is still room for a 1.2?
