Since there are a lot of PbP folks who hang around here, I thought I'd bring this to your attention: Oladon, a long-standing PbP player and GM, has created a very cool Chrome extension with some great PbP tools. It highlights new posts, presents your campaigns page in a clearer format and, its spiffiest new feature, it lets you do in-game chat!
Check out the link and give it a try!

i have been wondering this is bloodline familiar PFS legal for a bloodrager
the answer to you question can be found here as well as any additional items who's legality you may question.

GM Bold Strider |

In order for Bloodline Familiar to be admissible, you must own the rulebook that contains the rules for it. In this scenario, the rulebook is the Familiar Folio.
The link that Countchocula provides lets us scroll down to the Familiar Folio and see that bloodline familiars are not specifically stated as allowed, but there is something on bloodlines. Hmm... could that be it?
It says the stuff on Page 16-17 is allowed. Crack open that book/PDF and see if what you want is on those pages and, indeed, bloodline familiars are legal to play with.
As stated before, however, if you do not own the book, then you are now allowed to use that feature.

PDF can be used, but always have a least the spells, feat, items, or abilities printed out when playing a physical table, and have a way to prove you have the source material at games for the rare audit.
My summoner gets audited often enough because he's a bit of an odd fellow, that may use extra components in spells for funsies.

I'm sure you can ask, but it might get more feedback on the recruitment boards. AP's are hard to get through in PbP... takes years, usually.
Completely off-topic, how would one go about suggesting a new bestiary entry. I think we need puppy swarms in Pathfinder. Then we can make will saves vs Adoration! =3 XD

bluedove |

No, they would auto inflict 1d2-1 damage but if you fail your will save vs puppy breath weapon, you must drop everything and sink down onto the floor saying "D'aaawwwwwww!" and you can only take one move action, pet puppies! ^_^

bluedove |

Also, striking them is an [evil] action, and Paladins who do so immediately become Anti-Paladins.
Yes, the only non-evil method of subduing a puppy swarm is a splash weapon of puppy kibble. Then they get full and roll over seeking tummy rubs.

Has anyone used Timely Inspiration in PFS?
"Cast this spell when a creature fails an attack roll or skill check. The target gains a +1 competence bonus per five caster levels (maximum +3 bonus) on the attack roll or skill check retroactively. If the bonus is enough to make the failure a success, the roll succeeds."
I ask because it was FAQ requested but never addressed. I assume this means table variation, but before I choose it for one of my limited spells known, I was wondering how do GMs in PFS typically rule it?
1) Levels 1-4 is no benefit, 5-9 is +1 bonus, 10-14 is +2 bonus
or
2) Levels 1-4 is +1 bonus, 5-9 is +2 bonus, 10-14 is +3 bonus

Hmm. Usually a minimum is specified for these kinds of spells, so it's not useless at low levels. That would mean
Levels 1-9 is a +1 bonus, 10-14 is a +2 bonus, 15-19 is a +3 bonus.

PbP Gameday IV Announcement: http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2smo9?PFS-PbP-Gameday-IV-Rise-of-the-Siege-of-S erpents#1

Once GMs start submitting games we will have a centralized list to peruse for games - the GM submission form will open up this weekend. We will add that info to the website as things progress. I believe there is a note in FAQ already.
Where does 1 sign up to play for this Gameday?

Okay so now that I have finished a PbP PFS game, what do I do with this PDF I have? Do I need to print it out, or what? Also, the GM submits the documents and such to PFS right? I just want to make sure I know how things work... :/

It is always good practice to print out the Chronicle sheet after you have recieved it, so that you have a physical copy. Most people keep a set of physical copies with their PC for when they play RL games and a folder of e-chronicles for online play.
The GM who ran the game would be the one reporting the session.

Has this gone live? I cannot seem to find anything on either the website or the forum post.

How do multiple faction cards work?
My assumption is that if I complete a goal in the course of a scenario on my season 6 card and also on my season 7 card, I can only check off a box on one of them, not both.

Good question for the rules thread. There are directions on the first page of the Season 7 journal card file. And yes, it's as you describe: each adventure still permits only one check..

GM Tektite |

I believe that the Season 6 cards are now superceded by the Season 7 cards, but I'd have to double check to make sure.
Edit: I just found a post that said the download file explains how the new season cards work. Seeing that it says that you can keep both cards, if you have at least checked off one box (making my original assumption incorrect), I would go by the rule that you can only check off one box per scenario. So you could only check a box on the Season 6 card OR the Season 7 card.

Alton Underbough |

I understood that someone asked about season 6 cards remaining valid--as long as you had at least one box marked before the season 7 cards came out, or something like that, you could still use them.

Edited my post above.

Dungeon Master S |

I've been thinking about the Mustering for the Flaxseed Lodge as it pertains to the Siege of Serpents Special. Might it be easier if the GMs here assign themselves Subtiers? This way we can muster much faster and more efficiently. I have no problem helping out EndlessForms with a spreadhseet if need be.
(And while at it, I've run this at a mid tier already, so I'd be happy to volunteer for either low or high.)

Here is my second level sorcerer, who'd love a spot in the special at the low tier!

GM Alias |

So, I'm a little late to the party here, but I've finally got my gameday games registered.
GM Alias Siege of the Serpents, Tier 1-2 Also, added to the spreadsheet at the top of the thread.
GM Alias Our Lady of Silver, Tiers 5-9
Sign up early and often.

I'm pretty sure you need 5 Stars for Serpent's Rise.
