Just a note for folks playing with Desmond, Maaarv or whatever other characters of mine that are out there...
I'm ending things a little sooner than I had originally expected. Life is just getting to be too much of a burden. The past two and a half years that I've participated in PFS have been fun. I've really had a lot of fun.
I wish I was a better person that didn't feel the need to commit an act of such finality, but that's what it is.
So long, and thanks for all the good times.

Still have two open spots for Siege of Serpents Tier 5-6. Sign up either Here or above on the spreadsheet.

Uh, what? You shouldn't be ending any things.

Au revoir, SB.
I’ve enjoyed gaming with you and if things change would enjoy doing so again.

Okay, I'll admit I'm a little freaked out. I very sincerely hope this is a "PFS hiatus" rather than something more serious.
Because it reads as more serious.

Same here Signboy. We had some good times on those "tables".
Hopefully life will un-burden for you and someday we see you again. :-)

EndlessForms |

Sorry to see you go Signboy. I've had a lot of good times with Desmond over the past couple years, even if I did accidentally kill him....
---
On another note, if you have played a game with me at any time in the past and have not yet printed or saved your chronicle sheet, please do so immediately. Until now I have kept all of the chronicles I sent out on Drive but my folder is getting quite full and I will be purging all of the old chronicles in a few days except for my most recent games which will stay up for another month or so.
In the future I will remind my players to print or save them right away because I will only host them for a couple weeks before deleting them.
Thanks!

I can't remember, do I have any on yours?

I am not an official DM in here or anything but I have a http://paizo.com/campaigns/PFSGameday4697SiegeOfSerpents/recruiting&pag e=last mustering if anyone still needs one.
I would have liked to take a higher level table but anyone is welcome.

Hey I have a quick question. I'm not ready to do this, but I was wondering how it is done when I am ready.
I have a chronicle sheet from my first time playing which was a 4th level pregenerated character at my local Free RPG Day. I was told that when I got a normal character to 4th level, I could then apply the chronicle sheet to her.
How is this done? I looked at my account and I see the recent game I played with Luna listed, but not any others... So how would I go about getting that 4th level adventure added to my character, when the time comes?

GM Crucible |

@Luna, the paper chronicle is king. If you have it, wether the event was reported doesn't matter so much.
Still, it would be good to ask the GM (if you remember him/her) or a local Venture Officer about getting the event reported.
When the target character is of the correct level, the chronicle is applied immediately, just as you would any other chronicle. If you need, there are more details in the free Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide linked at the top of the page. (It's currently linked under its old name, Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play, but the file its linked to is the current one.)

Well, right now I'm not even sure there is a local Venture Captain any more, as our VC moved to Texas and I think I heard that the Wichita VC was going to send a Lieutenant up to sub until an actual replacement could be found, but I don't know the details of all that.
But, if it's not on my account does that mean it wasn't reported properly, or is it just because it's not been applied to a character it doesn't show up? The odds of me getting into another 'paper chronicle' right now is pretty slim until I figure out what's up here in Topeka.
Or do you mean that when she's level 4 it will just magically show up? It does say my PFS# and - 1 on it.

EndlessForms |

No, it should show up in your online list soon after the game was played, whether you applied it immediately or held it for that character until they were a certain level.
If it's not showing up on your account, that means the game was reported incorrectly or not reported at all. As it seems it would be quite onerous to track down the right person to get it reported correctly, my suggestion would be not to worry about the online list too much. The reporting system can be kind of buggy and once in a while the GM or event coordinator will simply forget to report it or lose the sheet with everyone's numbers. Everyone who has played long enough has a game or two like this that is just missing from their online list or reported as the wrong game or character or something screwy. It is often more of a pain to fix than it is really worth.
In the end, the physical paper copy of the chronicle that you should have gotten at the end of the game is the only thing that really matters. Hopefully you still have that piece of paper saved somewhere. Now that your character is level 4, put it at the end of the stack/folder with your other chronicle sheets for that character and apply the XP and gold as if you had just played that game with them.
If you happened to lose the piece of paper, there might be a VL or VC on here who could help you out and send you a new one that they can sign and officiate for you.

Well no I am not level 4 yet, but I wanted to know what to do when I am. As I mentioned in the PM to Barton, for now at least I am mostly going to be playing online which is why getting it registered properly online matters. I can print out the online ones if PFS ever gets figured out again locally.

When you hit level 4, you just add that sheet's experience, gold, and prestige into your character and keep trucking. You don't need to do anything special other than make sure you keep track of it.

Even playing online, the physical copy of the chronicle sheet matters more than the online Pathfinder Society sessions log. All of us here have been playing online for quite a while and the chronicles are still more important. You should still print them out and keep them in a folder somewhere. After filling them out, some people like to scan them and save them to Google Drive or Dropbox so they can share it with their GM if needed.

Okay, yeah I have my personal website so I can easily just make a Pathfinder folder then stick them up there in a password protected zip file, and give GMs the password and link hehe :)

GM Crucible |

Or what's wrong with a private folder that I can just give the link to?
With either Google Drive or Dropbox, that's the idea, yes. Provide a read-only link to your GM.

I'm desperately looking for 1 more xp for a level 3 character in the next two weeks. Is anyone interested in a super-quick pbp session?
I can do one either as GM or player. Let's keep it to 4 players and a gm and go early season, we can totally do it.

Dungeon Master S |

We Be Goblins Too is NOT evergreen (the first one is, but not this one.)
So, assuming it's standard and NOT Core I can run a quick game of Murder on the Silken Caravan. Again, 4 players with high post rates.

Dungeon Master S |

I'm cool with everything, but the key is can Lekku play?

Dungeon Master S |

00-04 The Frozen Fingers of Midnight
00-13 The Prince of Augustana
Both are reasonably short if you keep up.
