Quite a shifty strategy to steer the community towards core.

We have only just had pact worlds get approved in Starfinder. So that was about seven or eight months. Okay, Alient archive was approved earlier, but there was not much general use content in there.

Looking back over the original release dates for Pathfiner Core books
Core August 2009
Bestiary Oct 2009
GM Screen Nov 2009
Game Mastery Guide June 2010
Advanced Player’s guide August 2010
It was one year before expansion core books were published, not counting the player companions, Compaign setting and adventures. So, Core 2.0 will probably last longer than 2 months, but then Pazio is better and faster at publishing now.

Do we think that CORE 2.0 will continue as a separate campaign once they start publishing additional rules material, or will they keep it down to one campaign in this new environment?
Is there a CORE SFS?

Also note that SFS was not core as soon as the stuff in the first AP book was sanctioned, which I remember happening quite quickly after SFS release.

Can anyone please tell me the proper forum for trading boons? I received Boon #7 during Outpost Gameday and neither boon (Dark Archive or Sovereign Court) is applicable to any of my characters...was hoping to swap it for a Grand Lodge boon or some other that's not faction dependent...

I have questions about the Kineticist. What feats actually help them besides point-blank and precise shot, GSP/SP.
The Kineticist doesn't have spell levels, so most, if not all, metamagic feats are no good. Blasts are (SP) so you can't use rapid shot, etc.
Just seems like toughness, save throw feats, endurance, etc.
I tried looking on the Forums, but it seems almost every thread turns into "the element is best becasue of....." crap.

If you are not using an energy attack (touch attack), deadly aim can be good.
You can find some good class guides here. Specifically for kineticist, I like this one.

Why isn't the height of a character taken into account on range of things flying/suspended into air?
A character over 5' would most likely be casting a spell hands extended up over themselves to hit something above-thee final point of release of someone throwing a weapon or aiming a bow would be too...(I know...gravity in all cases except casting a spell...)

A special Request
Hello all, this is going to sound odd but stick with me if you will. My son is doing a project for his school called Flat Stanley's Travels and I was wondering if any of you in our amazing community wouldn't mind helping out for a few minutes this weekend.
If you do not know about Flat Stanley it is a story written by Jack Brown and Sara Pennypacker. It is a humorous tale of a boy who becomes "flat" when his bulletin board falls on him. Stanley realizes there are some advantages to being flat, such as the ability to slide under doors, between bars, and even scanned and mailed across the world to friends and family.
How can you help?
If you wouldn't mind takeing a few minutes this weekend and on your travels take a picture of Stanley with a landmark, visiting another city, experiencing what all the world has, or anything else you can think of.
This is a great opportunity for my son and his whole school to not only learn about different places but also to learn about different cultures too.
The school is tracking where Stanley has traveled on a giant world map and will be posting up all the pictures for the students and staff to see.
If you would like to help please download Flat Stanley, take a picture, and send it to me with a little note of where he was.
All photos are needed by tomorrow night (about 38 hours from this post time)
Thank you for helping!! This little guy thanks you too

I guess , in turn they don't count the implied "hypotenuse" of the triangle formed when you are distanced both by height and length...huh...

The Expanded Metakinesis feat is the kineticist equivalent of meta magic feats. It’s from the Magic Tactics Toolbox player companion and let’s you choose from a list of meta magic feats (Disrupting SpellAPG, Ectoplasmic SpellAPG, Furious SpellOA, Merciful SpellAPG, or Piercing SpellUM). Then you can apply it to your blast for 1 burn.
I quite like the Kinetic Invocation feat from the Psychic Anthology player companion as well.

Woohoo, 4th star appeared this weekend!
Which means there are those cute 4+ star only scenarios. Any idea how to get them made available?

Magabeus |

Congrats! I posted this in customer service when I earned my 4th star. I suggest you do something similar.

That is a cool idea. I'll see what I can do within the time (and my own) constraints.

Is there a reason for that? In the local game that I sometimes go to they roll every time and are part of the Regional Support Program although it is only one table, once a week.
There are some issues with how to implement this online in a way that is fair to those who GM in person. We are well aware that there is interest in this from our online GMs, and are doing what we can. :)

GM Nowruz |

Shifty, to be honest I do not agree as cons currently represent only a fraction of the tables that are played under the banner of Flexseed. So I would like to understand how RSP for Flexseed could be unfair to the GMs that invest their time in person. Specifically, given the fact that PbP is much more time consuming than in person GM games.

Shifty |

The RSP discussion has been going for a long time now and I have sort of let it go as a concept.
We'd have to be shuffling at least 500-600 tables a year through Convention supported activity in the PbP Forums, and I reckon that would have to be a fairly decent fraction. I was putting through around 40 a year with all singing all dancing con support just off my own bat, so there is certainly a good opportunity for boons etc.
I agree the RSP would be good, but I think the debate is a non-starter. If anything I feel the Online space copped an overall reduction in support, hence I am no longer running my own specials in the PbP space (no support, no point) and am now sticking to only face to face cons.

Somehow I have the Flaxseed lodge appearing in my inactive campaigns section. Any idea how to bring it back to the main section?

Congrats, James, most excellent DM! A couple of years ago, James stepped in to finish up running Masks of the Living God when our GM vanished. We've all had such a good time together, we've continued on and played Fangwood Keep, City of Golden Death, Broken Chains and we're now on to House on Hook Street. He clearly didn't know what he was signing up for, but the rest of us lucked out!
