With how active you've been today, Lynora, I feel compelled to ask whether or not you've received my PM about the motivations and further explanation about my character idea.
Don't go there.
She has a lot of Pm's to sort though.Odds are that she got it, and she just needs time.
Typically, you don't have to worry about her having missed it unless it has been at least a week or so.

Yes, I received it, but I haven't addressed my pile of PMs to reply to yet. I'm catching up on about four days worth of game posts first. It takes a while. :/

It had been weeks not, siting in the damp cheap hotel, Royston had be looking for any on this lost world who could help him, workshops yes, but he was not factory worker, he would give it 2 more days, then if the resistance did not contacted him, he would take a ship off world, no point waiting for something that was not going to happen.

Your recruitment in game is going to wait until after the headmaster has time in game.
The people doing it in game aren't going to pile more onto a waiting list outside the office. They'll wait until that's over.
Just one more short thing.
Tell ya what. Once goblin's in there, I'll get to you and we can draw out talking in the town until goblin is finished.
Is that OK?

Having mentioned her disdain over it over PMs, and the fact that it's been over a week, I'm starting to think that I will need to ask someone else to help me fine-tune my Spellscar Oracle idea if I'm going to get him in this game. Is there anyone that can bear that burden reliably? I have need to do this quickly, as I will soon have to take very many consecutive overtime hours to help pay for my medical bills, and I'd like the character to get a foothold in the story before I have the limited time to spend on this.

Wiznit, what part of this isn't a good fit for you and I don't think this is going to work out was unclear to you? I would have gladly kept this to PM but since you're insisting on making a spectacle of it, have it your way.
You essentially did the equivalent of calling in disgruntled because someone didn't get back to you fast enough after a first interview and instead of accepting an apology and explanation continued to badger and be unpleasant. And then gripe about not getting the job. Applying to a gaming group isn't that different. If you cheese off the person in charge before you even get started, it's a nonstarter. This is pretty much common sense. You may be an absolute delight in real life, but you've been extremely difficult with me. Given that, you will not be joining Avalon. Good day, sir.

Darklighthitomi here with an alias.
I have the description in the alias but the stats will come later, along with more in depth info on her as I discover it.
Looks good so far. I have a few questions which I'll PM later tonight. Aside from basic stats and some potential tweaks to fit the setting better, there shouldn't be anything else you need to do.

Also given the fact that pretty much everyone loves and respects Lynora... yeah. If you've run afoul of her, you're definitely not going to fit in this group.

Awesome, tonight is school rather then work so Ill have plenty of time tonight starting around 10-12 (central time), depending on how long class lasts.
I have stats, except skills and spell list, it just takes forever to post it all on a nook.

I see, then. I must agree; this is not a good fit. I was only told that this would be an extremely active game. I was not informed that the GM would be unreliable and easy to upset, even with polite words. The fact that the community here would defend such a person is also troubling. I believe that none of my words with Lynora have been harsh, just used to push for a timely resolution to my dilemma. Perhaps this hostility is a mere attempt to save face, but that is just mere speculation. All that I ever insinuated is that she took on a task that turned out to be more than she was prepared for, yet this brought about anger from her, and frustration and confusion from myself.
In any case, I felt it necessary to tell my side of the story, thought I know it is in vain. I am but a stranger, and no amount of evidence I bring will sway any of you from any slander Lynora is in the wrong, merely giving into a bout of emotion. I regret upsetting her, I admit, but nonetheless, I must choose to withdraw from this attempt to play my character idea. I just wish I was better informed about this situation before I even attempted by the one who sent me here.

Without knowing exactly what was said behind the scenes, it sounds like you harassed her too much about your PC, pushing her to respond, when she probably was too busy with her real life. Its been said over and over that she generally responds to PMs over the weekend, and she usually has a massive amount of them to wade through.
Patience is a virtue in this game. I started working on Ace in June of last year, I believe, and he didn't enter play until Jan of this year, if I recall. Granted, there was a couple months where I wasn't working on him at all, but it still took me at least four months to complete him. Of course, Lyn has said Ace is one of, if not the most complicated character she's help build.
Did you even give her a month?

Wow. The sheer amount of arrogance it would take to post what you did after curtly being told to leave Wiznit tells me plenty about your character.
Let me tell you a bit about Lynora - she is a full time mother and student. Which means that even before her commitment to the game she is short on time. Yet somehow she finds the time to help the 15-odd people that play this game manage their characters, while simultaneously helping each of us to roleplay in game. Often times, she will receive at minimum 2-3 PMs a day, most of which require a measured and thoughtful response, and take some work. Not only that, but each game day sees about ~100 new posts, split between gameplay and discussion. That alone can be alot to keep up with at times, yet Lynora still makes time for all of us.
My guess is that your impatience and badgering is what upset her, not any of your words, but you seem to have an overabundance of vanity (displayed by your need to post here when you have been asked to leave).
That being said: you do seem like a very self-centered person, so I doubt any of my words will matter to you, but you must remember that we all gave you the /choice/ of public help. But no, you wanted to discuss it privately with the busiest person in the game, even after several warnings from people that she was indeed busy.
I sincerely doubt that this task is 'more than Lynora was prepared for' as she had worked on a Spellscar Oracle before. Strangely enough, that guy also turned out to be a pompous, impatient (homophobic) idiot. Maybe there's something about spellscar oracles that draw the asshats though.

FireclawDrake |

Foul, you should realize what it is that Wiznit is doing before you say that. He is not defending his honour or integrity: he's throwing a tantrum. An adult version of a tantrum, but that is what it is.
He's been asked to leave, and instead of walking away with his head held high, he decided to make with personal attacks. He is effectively kicking and shouting as much as possible because he didn't get the candy he wanted in (his idea) of a timely matter.
Pretty sure that's not the kind of person you want to be, Foul. Wiznit would've shown considerably more character and grace if he had simply accepted Lyn's verdict graciously and moved on. Instead, he has become spiteful which serves him no other end but trying to hurt people. I don't think that is the kind of person you want to be Foul.

FCD, bravo! Once again you have hit the nail right between the eyes.
Also, is anyone else amused that acting like a self-righteous asshat is now referred to as 'pulling a Spugley'?
Being a super controlling overpowered 'I'm stronger than you, no I don't care what you said' could be a 'Chaos'
