Rakki Okane |

Rakki takes the chained wallet from his pocket and tosses it onto a poolside chair as he takes a shirt run and jumps into the water fully clothed. He's under for a moment, and there's a pop sound from under the water. Thousands of small bubbles drift up through the water, each releasing a small puff of the quickly dissipating white smoke, similar to when his guitar vanished or he summoned the bottle of soda.
When he resurfaces, he's not wearing the same clothes he jumped in with, but a pair of black swim-shorts with a green stripe down one side and a blue to the other. He continues to rise past where he should be able to, and a large serpent breeches the water under his feet, supporting him as he stands on its head. It's gigantic and has like a coral snake sort of pattern in light blue, black, grey, black, light blue, black, and so on.
Anyone especially perceptive would notice he seems slightly more toned in muscle than he was before, but maybe it was just the clothes.

Janie wrote:"Ok!" He runs into the boy's locker room, and begins looking for swim trunks.
"Yeah, that could totally work! Well, at least it's worth a try," she said enthusiastically. "Okay, here we are," she said, opening the door to an enormous room filled with a large mostly empty pool. "Boys locker rooms are that way. I'll meet you guys back out here in a few. There are school swimsuits in the locker rooms so don't worry about not having brought one."
There are swim trunks available in every shape and size in styles that range from ugly to uglier to what in the nine hells were they thinking. Apparently the best deterrent from theft is to make something that nobody actually wants in the first place.

"You are being a bit too hard on them, yeah. You have to keep in mind the timeline. The world itself has been trying to change and adapt since it got flipped right side out. That's a lot of changes in a short time, and sometimes it's frustrating that it doesn't go faster, but this world doesn't have a central government and they're trying to overturn centuries of tradition in just a few months. As for Kuros...it's been a week. They're barely through the memorial services. But they're not beaten down. You should go there this weekend if you get a chance. It might surprise you." He shrugged. "It's easy to get impatient, but people have to make their own choices. And change is a process. It doesn't just magically happen...He looks to ponder the words for a bit.
"Perhaps. While Empires may not be to taste, a centralized government for world affairs would seem advantageous for times such as these. On the other had, it is easier to corrupt things when power is centralized...
I suppose we will just have to 'hope' this world is ready when the time comes, letting the cards fall as they may." he does not seem comfortable with that notion, but there is a bit of resignation.
"I'm confident that Tyrrin can get the elves up to speed and ready, so at least Avalon and Kuros will have their support."At Fei's comment, he raises an interested eyebrow, but says nothing.
Jiminy sighed. "All I know is, I never wanted to sign up for politics, but everything I do I end up up to my eyeballs in it."
"Here we are," he said, opening the door to the hangar and sighing again. "Oy! You three! No climbing on the mechs! Look but don't touch! Didn't you learn any manners up on that sun?"
"And now I'm getting early practice for when my kids hatch," he muttered under his breath.

"I thought dinner just meant it was big? Or was that supper..."
"No, now you're dealing with regional differences. Breakfast always refers to the first meal of the day. Lunch always refers to the midday meal. Supper always refers to the evening meal. But in some regions they refer to lunch as dinner and in some regions they refer to supper as dinner. I don't know why. It's very confusing. We....moved around a lot after my powers manifested...for obvious reasons. So I've heard quite a few variations. But I always think of the evening meal as dinner since that was what I learned first."

vis's foot taps nervously, fidgeting a bit."You, Uhm... You get hurt easy?"
Vis is following along, and kinda fidgeting.
"That doesn't sound quite like my kind of game... I can try, though! Might be nice."

From down the hall, Kezzin can hear Asha's voice. "Yeah, yeah. I got it the first five times. Only practice landing inside the SIM rooms so I won't sustain real injuries."
"You are not taking this seriouzzly enough, young lady!" another voice scolded her. "A shattered arm, punctured lung, and ruptured kidney is not zzzomething to take lightly."
Asha rolled her eyes. "Before I came here, that list would have meant it was one of the good days. Seriously, just actually read my chart, okay? Besides, I'm fine now. So no big." She stopped when she saw Kezzin talking to the nurse, a very frazzled looking mantis creature trailing her. "Oh, hey Kezzin," she said cheerfully. "Did you get confused about where we were supposed to meet?"
"Oh," she said blinking. She still wasn't used to this idea of someone being concerned about her well being. She had just about come to terms with people being worried or feeling guilt for accidentally hurting her, but just being concerned about her was...new...and rather odd. "Well, I'm okay now. You're not intruding or anything. I just didn't think you'd mind about me being hurt. I mean, not like you wanted me to be hurt or anything...." She sighed. "Everything I say is coming out wrong now. I'm just not used to people caring about my well being. Nobody ever thought it was that important before I came here."

"Sorry. It really is the best confession I could come up with. I've always been a bit of a rule follower," she added apologetically.

Ephebe |

Ephebe gives up in frustration after a few moments of walking around the grounds looking for Gareth and snaps her fingers to summon an aschen, who she instructs to find Gareth.
It scampers back in a moment and leads the small group over to the bench where Gareth was reading.
"Excuse me, Gareth. I'm sorry to interrupt your free time, but I did promise you I would find you someone to help you with that book...this is Lang. He's in our class. I'm sure you've seen him there during lessons. I think he can help you. And this is Professor Reading. She might be helpful as well, but she's mostly here to supervise the two of you in case you need to access the bigger library or anything of that nature."

Melody Waverider |

Sim Mel stood there awkwardly for a bit then finally broke the silence, So, Arthur, you did remember my journal that I left you before I went into the rift. there are numerous calculations in there along with all the...ahhh... <mumble> <mumble> corrections <mumble> <mumble> made by Raelle
So basiclly the plan is to use the journal, and the information that just got added to this Sim, to create another modified reality bomb and send it to me in the rift. now you may need some teacher's help with this.
looking to Tryko'Sam, It is nice to see you again, I know you are pretty smart, could you please help Arthur, he sometimes need help to stay focused, well actually he becomes over focused, so keep him less focused? <thoughtful pause> well whatever, try and help, please?
Oh and I have a show I promised Tybs this weekend, so please kind of hurry.
She goes over to Tryko'Sam takes him by the arm and leads him over to the control console. you can access the database from this. there was too much information to ive you access to everything but there should be enough here to answer most of your questions
She shows him the basics of operating the simulated TARDIS database.
turning to everyone, Oh by the way, you may see images of me around the school, these are temporal ghosts, they cannot interact with anyone in this timeline. they are completely divergent from this reality. but if they go away my connection with this timeline could be lost.

The Prismatic Band |
a small black dragon and a much larger blue dragon (with fins) fly over Avalon academy.
"I told you we were lost."
says the black dragon.
"Mazia, would you just stop that? it's not like you have any right to complain, you're just as lost as I am. Probobly more lost then I am."
the blue drsgon looks around, turning to circle around the school.
"I told you this was a bad idea."
spouts the black one.
"You did not! you willingly tagged along! And you went out flying on your own just last week!"
the black one chuckles.
"But I still told you it was a bad idea. Just because I'm a hypocrite doesn't make me wrong."
the blue one pauses, a while.
"... I hate you, you know that?"
mazia smiles.
"Thanks pal. Means a lot."
the blue drsgon grumbles incoherently as it circles the school.

Tybalt Baneko |

Tybalt is still out on the lake, prepping his catches to take inside when two chromatic dragons pass overhead and start to do circles around the school. They haven't attacked anything yet, but if he remembers right, the not shiny ones generally aren't good guys.
His eyes are wide as he stares, a cluster of fish hanging from strings in his left paw while his right grasps his crook.
"Uuuuuhhh..." He looks left and right as if searching for who exactly he should be informing about this when a yellow glint across the lake attracts his eyes. The champion of time, as made obvious by the golden aura was here, and likely knew what to do, also being the headmistress.

Tryko'Sam |

After being guided to the console and such, Tryko'Sam appears engrossed with the device (even if a SIM) and starts rapidly utilizing it. He's a fast learning. With a quick glance over the shoulder he says to SIM Mel, "I think your boyo has a robo to help out with keeping focused. This is impressive-- are you going to retain this in the SIM memory banks? Wouldn't mind reviewing it later."
Glancing around again and then back, "You're temporally elsewhere, and yet, managed to generate this SIM -- fascinating, so that implies you've familiarity with temporal travel. Hmmm."
After another few looks around he furrows a bit and says, "Any idea which teacher sort would be best for a bomb?"

Rylehtin'akksavith |

Sitting in the garden watching the children playing, she couldn't miss the sight of two unknown dragons flying overhead. Very, very calmly, she put down her teacup, stood up and walked a reasonable distance away from the little table before shifting into her dragon form and taking to the air, flying quickly and steadily towards the newcomers. Getting uncomfortably close even. They find themselves faced with an enormous gargantuan in game terms purple dragon who does not look pleased to see them.
::Who are you?:: they hear echoing inside their minds, with a definite sense that it would be unwise to answer this question incorrectly.

Ephebe |

Ephebe looked up as the dragons passed overhead and stepped away from the children, preparing to take off....but then stopped as she saw her grandmother take to the air. She remained watchful, but held off, watching to make sure there weren't any other rogue dragons about to show up. If anyone could handle this, grandma could.

Tamrin - Gunslinger of Tomorrow |

On the roof of the school closest to where Avalon's airspace just got violated, a lone male figure appears with his hands hooked in his belt. The duster draped over his body flaps lazily in the breeze.
He looks up at the interloping dragons with a wolf-like grin that is anything but mirthful, waiting to see what they do with Ryleh challenging their presence here...

The Prismatic Band |
nither of the two seem the least bit intimidated. The blue one speaks up
"I'm somone who really doesn't take threats well."
mazia rolls his eyes.
"And he's also the one with zero tact."
zanthos growls, before mazia continues to mock him.
"Well. it's true. Elegy hsving to recreate our bodies before raising us would take longer. Not fun. So show at least a bit of respect."
yet, at the same time, mazia is barely aknowkadging that there is, in fact, a threat.

Silinrul |

Easily spotting the dragons fly over the school, Silinrul shifts back into his human form, scooping up the Chosen One, and passing her off to Jeran. "Go and take her some place safe. I do not know this school well enough to do so myself and while I do hope these dragons do not mean the girl harm, I do not trust our enemies to have not sent them either. I will observe them and if they seem intent on going after her, do my best to slow them down"
He spots a small outcropping of rocks and easily climbs atop them, for a better vantage point. He sits, legs crossed, simple wooden staff across his legs, and watches the pair of potentially hostile dragons.

"Ok, Boss. Alright guys, if you'll follow me..."
he heads into the hangar, gathers up Ardiente's pals...and begins a tour for everyone. He covers the main mecha bay, the pilot mission briefing/debriefing room, the locker rooms, and finally the 2 man quarters for rest. he also shows them to the mess, but comments that the school's mess hall is better. All in all it takes about an hour or so."Any questions?"

Ghalen Kiln |

Ghalen follows along, nodding at certain points. he asks questions about the mecha specifically, but Mithros only for sure knows about his mecha. He briefly goes over what Jeran's does, but nothing too technical.
Ghalen remains silent for the rest of the tour.
"None from me. Do you know when training formally begins, or what our schedule will be?"

Mithros Phoebus |

He shakes his head no.
"No not really. Before the "world flip", we had pretty regular schedule.
Jeran and I's training coincided with the concept and test flights for the mechs. With all the crisis lately, though, we've kinda met and done maneuvers when we can, but most of the time it's personal time in the simulator, any more.
I know the Boss wants to get things back on schedule, but, hasn't happened yet. Between the "life pod incident" and the attacks on Kuros, it's been tough. I have a hunch Jiminy will hand over leading training to Jeran, but that's just wild speculation on my part. Prolly not the answer you all wanted, but it is what it is. We'll get everyone up to speed, don't worry."

Tyrrin Denulia |

He hesitates just the slightest.
"Of course M'lady. How shall I reach you with the answer?"
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (13) + 24 = 37
Tyrrin catches the slight hesitation and glances over at Thel. "On the other hand Thel, I can manage. Thank you for the tea, it was delicious." she offers him as warm a smile as she can manage before heading out of the classroom, going down towards the infirmary.

Vai Sunwake |

Phaezeriel shrugs a little, ::I dunno. You all certainly seem to think so. And far be it from me to argue with dragons.:: His smile shows the joke for what it is.
He turns to face her fully after a moment, and his thoughts are serious when they come again, ::You don't have to answer if you don't want to: But why are you spending so much time alone lately?::
The smile weakens just a little bit. "Just... been a bit thoughtful, I guess. Lumos has been quiet, and I think she knows I was serious about my threat. But I dunno. It's just easy to be alone, I guess."

Ehos Denulia |

"I'm making progress. It'd be easier if I'd started on it oh, say, a year ago, when I ought to have done all of it. You don't smell like anyone but yourself and you're not known for being indiscreet, so I'm guessing dreams again?"
"Yeah." he says, pulling on a fresh pair of pants on and squeezing onto the bed, finding a space to sit in all the madness. "It's like I'm seventy again. It's annoying and embarrassing." he says with a huff.
"Are we gonna train when you're done? I need to mentally prepare myself." he continues, sticking his tongue out slightly, obviously not overly shaken up by his dreams.

Tyrrin catches the slight hesitation and glances over at Thel. "On the other hand Thel, I can manage. Thank you for the tea, it was delicious." she offers him as warm a smile as she can manage before heading out of the classroom, going down towards the infirmary.
"Yes, M'lady. As you wish." He retrieves the tea setting, and places everything on his cart, with a measured Elven grace, but it is apparent from his reaction and his behavior, he is not a servant by occupation.
"Nature's measure to you, M'lady." he says as he's leaving.

Phaezeriel |

Phaezeriel wrote:The smile weakens just a little bit. "Just... been a bit thoughtful, I guess. Lumos has been quiet, and I think she knows I was serious about my threat. But I dunno. It's just easy to be alone, I guess."Phaezeriel shrugs a little, ::I dunno. You all certainly seem to think so. And far be it from me to argue with dragons.:: His smile shows the joke for what it is.
He turns to face her fully after a moment, and his thoughts are serious when they come again, ::You don't have to answer if you don't want to: But why are you spending so much time alone lately?::
Phaezeriel grins at Vai, ::It's always good to have quiet time. I know how that can be sometimes. I just wanted to make sure my first real friend was okay.::

Rakki Okane |

Even the largest splash Gavin was likely to generate wasn't enough to make the enormous serpent falter, especially considering it being at home in the water.
A second and third snake rise up from the water underneath Janie and Gavin, albeit with them sitting and not standing like he'd been.
"Will this do?"
He grins with his arms crossed, obviously quite pleased with himself and their reaction.

Rylehtin'akksavith |

nither of the two seem the least bit intimidated.
A swarm of small crystals flies out from the purple dragon and surrounds the two cheeky intruders, spinning a web of ectoplasmic ropes around them, which constrict tightly, pinning their wings against their sides. They are both grabbed by the backs of the necks and thus prevented from falling or crashing.
::I do not threaten. If I wanted you dead, you would be dead. Nor am I the only thing you have to worry about. Now, are you going to tell me who you are, or do I need to pry the information from your minds?::Her mental voice was no calm and her statements matter-of-fact, if slightly annoyed. If these two were from the Empire, they were the Empire's stupidest scouts. Their lack of recognition of what she was indicated to her that they might be from somewhere else and bought them a little more rope to hang themselves with.

Jeran Darkclaw |

Chosen One
Needless to say, loses her <censored> and grabs first ahold of Silinrul, who even with the bug wings (I believe they are still there?) has 'related' to him exceptionally well, and then Jeran, panicking at the appearance of even MORE BIG WINGED THINGS!
"Come on, Cho," Jeran said, prying her away from SIlinrul and picking her up to take her inside. "Let's get you inside away from the big flying things. Which will be taken care of shortly. You don't have anything to worry about. Look, see, you're indoors now. There's several stories of building between you and them and don't worry, Sil will be alright too. There's no need to panic...oh, for the love of....put your dress down, Cho! Putting it over your head will not make things better and the rest of us would really rather not see your underwear," he said in a long-suffering voice, glaring at some passing boys who were enjoying the view too much.
