Just want explain what just happened. When Taron's "escape plan" went haywire Asch and Amada got shunted to the plane of shadows. Asch had to absorb pure shadows to help them escape which explains his arms current state and his new abilities. It also empowered his vampirc half so he now has a bite attack and a dhampiric form (aka barbarians rage)
Home. Exhausted. Will probably be sleeping most of tomorrow.
Schedule of events ahead....Krays visit to the graveyard. Training montage of some sort as it looks like Ephebe and Asch (and potentially Krays if he wants to make any adjustments after the graveyard visit) both have some new stuff to sort through. Asch, you up for the vampire storyline now or should I still hold that in reserve? Just finished the arc with Ephebe's changes so we're getting ready to move on to a new story arc and that one would fit here.
Sorry to see that Tom has decided to step out. Hope he decides to come back at some point when he has more time.
And now to collapse and sleep and hope that I didn't pick up too many strange new viruses on my trip. :)

Yes. Other than being a little shaky right after, she's perfectly healthy after the procedure to fix the demon's mistakes.

To some extent that's up to you. If you want to trade out any abilities or add slight upgrades now that's cool. I'm not really applying a level adjustment for young dragons since there are story constraints keeping them from abusing their power to begin with. And honestly, juvenile dragon or below isn't really giving anything that crazy to begin with. Also, if you want to adjust your abilities now is the time. My suggestion would be that power upgrades come with decreased flexibility. Having to trade out helps keep the power creep down.
Ok...well I figure I'd change his racial stuff from kobold to juvenile black then...since they can cast spells as a sorc anyway, im not going to bump that stuff up at all...I'll keep his mental stats as is and adjust if necessary the physical ones.
I would imagine that when he remembers who he is, he probably never represented himself as a kobold...so I'm trying to decide if he stays as a kobold or uses his old humanoid choice for when he shifts...
Blacks normally can't shift but I usually alow all dragons to do so since its so minor an ability.

Well, the way Death described his new state would lead me to believe that he keeps the kobold humanoid form. It was the form through which Krays was able to learn humility and reclaim his position as champion, and that lesson shouldn't be forgotten.

That's the way im leaning, honestly. Plus all the "how come youre not a kobold anymore?" questions would get old...
If you want to add some fluff to his recent change without having to go full blown dragon form all the time you could do the energy shell thing or the partial transfomation trick.
For example sense your thinking of increasing his physical stats he could gain a natural claw attack that over shadows his hands when used, or when he uses abilities related to his dragon self they have a theme to them. You gain a fly speed but when its used you sprout black dragon wings or black energy wings.
Plenty of ways to go about it but I agree you should keep your kobold form.

A kobold that can turn into a balc dragon vs a Dragon that takes the shape of a kobold as a front is kind of 6 of one and half dozen of another...
You guys are making me itchy to bring out my gear wyrm, don't care if he is metal and I made him, he is a dragon too. ;P
But that will bring the corruptor and Solivala really hates him so maybe its best if he remains unknown >.<

Juveniles. Except that we stretched the rules a bit regarding sexual maturity and moved it up an age category for the dragon hybrids. So they're effectively teens even though by dragon standards they're still children.
Aananda is a young adult dragon. Which is weird when you consider that she has three mostly grown up children. :)

Yeah, that would be totally fine. You can go ahead and do that. I don't think a robe and scythe would be game-breaking, although it would definitely increase his creepy factor with the other students. :)

Yeah, and so does Ephebe. I'm pretty sure a school that's okay with students walking around with guns isn't going to fuss about a scythe. :)
Although the idea of a 'retractable' blade might be a good safety measure...perhaps the blade itself is composed of negative energy? Or force or whatever. Just a thought.

I decided I liked the pathfinder version of the black dragon more than the 3.5 version...blacks are one of the smaller dragons and really ahve no business looking that menacing. I think the new art keeps some of the menace while maintaining the elegance of a dragon.

By all means, join in. If you'd rather not join in the vampire storyline, I'll cook something up for you back at the school while the others are out storming the temple. If you want an in for the storyline just insist on coming along because Ryleh insisted that you keep an eye on her granddaughter.
