Ooh, enchiladas!" she said, practically drooling as they got to the cafeteria and she got a look at what was being served for dinner.
"Heh, thanks. Maybe some day whenI'm a little better at the whole granting deal, I could help you guys out with that. The least I could do really. I might still have been... stuck, if you and your sis hadn't done the whole deal in the desert that the boss needed me to help out with." He laughs when she's so enthused to see the food. "You want me to help you get trays? Something I'm pretty handy for." He grins as he clasps his hands together in obvious pairs. It only takes a moment, but when they arrive in the cafeteria he looks around the very open and tall space in discomfort, breaking his usual grin with a frown before he spontaneously grows a couple feet taller and tries to play it off like it was usual. Andromeda would notice through their varying interactions that he tends to attempt to match the space he's in, preferring not to be too small at any given time. Even in the desert he was enormous the majority of the time.

huh I was thinking baseball to basketball size, but then Arthur also feels compelled to install death rays of varying functionality to his drones
Arthur makes his way to the sim room with a roll of his eyes "guess I'm the glorified gofer here" as he adjusts the settings as intended "no explanations for what I'm doing, just take it and trust.... Ah who am I kidding, I'll take every chance I got, besides. This way I can disassemble, analyze and reassemble the little sonic multi tool... Analyzing specific harmonic frequencies... Destabilizing crystalline matrices..." He fiddled with the device before he gets to the sim room and uses the device as instructed
The device gives off the familiar buzz sound and the program is loaded into the Sim room.
the loading process to start the Sim takes a bit longer than expected though and there appear to be a few safety protocols that got disabled or overridden though none seem too dangerous.
Eventually the light goes green and the the Sim room is ready for use.
there is enough time for others that are helping Arthur to arrive at this point
here is a basic idea of the simulation, (minus the police box part of course.)
When the door opens the room looks like some sort of control room with a center control console also there is a large work bench with all sorts of tools. sitting on the bench is what's left of Arthurs power armor he made for Mel. It looks like it was in a battle and took lots of combat damage.
Standing at the control console is Mel. When she notices you, she waves you all inside.
Welcome to Susan's Rift ship. this isn't the whole ship just the control room are. the rest would have been to much to program.
Only Mel is in there there is no Susan.

Having followed Vickory to what assumedly would be the location where Arthur would be as well, Trkyo'Sam looks around and squints a moment looking at the Melody SIM.
"Huh-- oh. Hey. So ... you're Arthur?" He looks over at Arthur and gives an up-nod in greeting.
Trkyo'Sam is a young male, humanoid, without any noticeable scars or issues of health. He's extremely charming and immediately likable without any effort on his part. He's currently in some black outfit, t-shirt and jeans, which are likely a form of the school uniform, altered in fashion. Boots at the end of his legs, covering his feet. He has appears, if checked, to have a back pocket with some 'wallet' looking thing in it, perhaps a datapad or something of similar size.
Looking over at Melody he greets her as well, "Yo, SIM Sis. How's things? Heard you were missing. Where'd you go? Someone kidnap you?" He might be mistaking her for the real person, or ... just being casual with the simulation regardless.
Hands go into his pockets, and he looks a combination of disinterested and relaxed, while glancing about taking in the room's details.

@Tryko'Sam: Yes, I didn't specify cause I wasn't sure that was you final destination so I tried to leave it open in case my assumption was wrong.
Awesome, thanks. :)
Mel give a semi-forced smile, Hello Sam, sorry Tryko'Sam, nice to see you again, and clothed this time.
Mel goes to give everyone there a hug I am glad you decided to help. Anyway, I was not kidnapped, Arthur knows all about what happened. but here is the rundown, There was this rift that needed to be closed. the rift was giving off large levels or Artron energy which I have a rather high resistance to. anyway when I entered the rift with a Reality Bomb that we constructed, I discovered two thing, first was this ship, <indicating the sim setting you are in> and some other strange robot like creatures that wanted to escape the rift.
well thanks to the armor suit that Arthur made I survived the first attack from those robot things and was able to counterattack. Mel is rather animated at this point playing out the epic battle. The suit started to take lots of damage and I knew I wasn't gonna make it if I didn't do something, fast.
A quick check of available power, I had just enough to generate a shield to protect me from the bomb blast, so I activated the shield and the Reality bomb. After that everything went blank
Then I woke up on board this ship. It belongs to my new friend Susan but she asked to not be part of the Sim program. Anyway I have a plan to get out of this rift, but you will have to create another modified reality bomb, then get it to me inside the rift.
You may want to get some teachers help for this one though.

The missus didn't like it, but he can't be left unsupervised. And he can't be left to his own devices, so I've got him building clockwork toys during the off hours. He's alright so long as he falls asleep on his workbench. Otherwise we finds him trying to smash his head on the walls or shut his hands in the doors. Or worse. But what else can we do? As long as he can work he's mostly fine."
"As for the power issues, well, they sort of crept up on us, but they've gotten worse as the week's gone on. Might be sabotage. More likely just incompetence. Don't think we had any troubles with it two weeks ago though. The boss wouldn't have let it drag on that long, I don't think."
"I...work in the Infirmary at Avalon Academy as a healer. My abilities heal the body rather than the mind, but I could request that he be seen by those with those talents. His willingness to harm himself is something that warrant immediate care, I believe. But only if you feel it could benefit him rather than traumatize him even more."
"And I will bring these power issues to Mr. Sunwake's attention, then see if I can trace the source of their occurrences before they get any worse."
"Much obliged, kid. And anything youse can do for Mr. Threon would be appreciated. He needs help, no doubt about that. But so do lots of other people. What the whole town needs is more healers of that sort. Well, of any sort for that matter. I'm guessing this will be a lot more comfortable for you than the big room out there," she said, opening the door to a small room filled with a couch and a couple of chairs. She sat down next to him on the couch and started lifting off lids of the different trays on the cart, trying to figure out what was what.
"Well, that's how it seems, but I've had a taste of time travel. It's how I died. And the time I spent in Ephebe's brain...yeah, I'm not really keen on those fun powers anymore now that I know what they cost. Plus, I've always been compulsively responsible, just ask my brothers," she said, rolling her eyes.
She shoved what had to be at least twenty five enchiladas in her mouth. "Mmmmm.....enchiladas," she said, her mouth not as full as you would think given how many of them she was chewing on.
