"Good afternoon, Tamina. Just came to check in on Ginni." Tyrrin says with a notably softer air than is typical for her, her demeanor somber.

Ehos Denulia |

She laughed and sat down on his lap. "Well, then, how did you want to spend your recovery time?" she asked, leaning her head on his shoulder and cuddling close. "If you're not taking suggestions," she teased.
Ehos grinned, letting his free hand wander a bit as Jaiye snuggles close. He plants a soft kiss on top of her head, between the ear. "You're making a pretty good case for some tongue excercise right now, sitting in my lap and being all sexy..." reads his tablet, and there's the slightest hint of mischief in his eyes if Jaiye looks up, one hand slowly tracing up and down her back.
"But..." the ominous word is probably missed as Ehos nibbles on the tip of an ear, sending tingles down her spine.
"Tickle time!!!" big letters flash across the screen as Ehos begins relentlessly tickling Jaiye, tablet falling to the wayside as he dedicates both hands to the endeavour.

Janie |

like this, only a dude.
He nods, as his armor shrinks slightly, then rises out of the water, hovering above it.
"Yeah, hey Janie, calm down, you got this."
"Right. Calm. I can do this," she muttered, sitting down on the wet concrete floor, and staring at the growing clouds. She could feel them growing as the heavy weight of the water piled up and up and ....oh, crap, no, she couldn't let herself get drawn into it. The last time she'd let herself get caught up in a storm like that she'd started a tornado in magical theory class.
The cloud keeps getting bigger and it's starting to get a little darker too. Electricity is jumping all over Janie's skin, as she stares at the cloud.
1d20 + 19 ⇒ (20) + 19 = 39
And then the electricity stops and the cloud breaks up into several smaller clouds, which drift slowly apart, the rain slowing and eventually stopping as the clouds become too small to sustain it.
"Woo! I did it!" she whooped. "I actually did it! Without inciting any miniature natural disasters on the way!"

Jaiye wriggled in his lap, giggling and squirming as he tickled her. And somewhere in the squirming she pushed him down on the bed and sat on his chest, catching his arms with hers. "Well, if that's the game you want to play," she said with a wicked grin, "then I guess I'll just have to oblige." Her soft, fuzzy tail brushed back and forth across his belly where his shirt had ridden up during their wrestling. "That what you had in mind?"

SIM Room -- Mel
Mel looks at everyone tehre, well, Aanandareavekki helped us already so she would be of great assistance.
Oh Tryko'Sam, to answer your question, yes, I am a time traveler, well I used to be, or maybe that's will be. anyway, the rift I am in is full of a type of energy that I am highly resistant to. but I kind of got stuck in here what I was attacked. so I really need that modified reality bomb. I really don't know how long I can maintain my connection with your current timeline.
Nodding at Melody, Tryko'Sam straightens up and says, "I'm on it. Hang in there, toots. We'll get the top peeps on this asap." He gives Vickory a quick up-nod and then makes for the exit, stepping out of the SIM Room in a hurried fashion.
@Aanandareavekki
An inter-school message containing all the information just shared by SIM Mel would arrive shortly with a 'high priority' flag to her attention, requesting her assistance and what all-- along with the SIM Room's program name as a reference.

"Ace" |

Ace visibly relaxes and gives Ty a hug, then morphs his blade into a plain walking stick. "You are quite the welcome sight Tyrrin. Thanks for coming to visit"

Vickory West |

"These sim rooms are amazing. I totally have to try making a Grognack the Barbarian comic as an interactive adventure. If a sim room can do this, that should be easy." Vickory says, making a note on the little images floating around her as she follows Sam, and surprisingly not forgetting to drag Hermes along as well.

Vickory says, making a note on the little images floating around her as she follows Sam, and surprisingly not forgetting to drag Hermes along as well.
"So, Vickory, what now? I got things I can go do -- anything on your plate?" He stops in the hallways after walking a bit, doing that 'distracted' look, hands on his hips looking fairly charming without trying. If he had anything to share after her comment, or leaving the SIM Room earlier, he doesn't voice it.
"Kinda surprised we don't have an easy way to just pluck her out of another dimension-- but I suppose there's limits to what this magic can really do, huh?"
He clearly is dwelling on the situation somewhat, hence the question and stance.

Aanandareavekki |

Inside Melody's special SIM, a screen lights up and Aananda's face appears. Not sure who is still in the room. Arthur? Well, obviously SIM Mel.
"Hello? Anyone here? Come on, you can't flag me for an emergency and then not be here," she said a trifle impatiently, waving someone away in the distance. "I told you, I'm fine. I'm not going anywhere. It's not going to hurt me to work as long as I stay in bed," she said testily to someone just out of the frame.

Aanandareavekki |

"Uh well that Sam guy just ran out I think it was to get you. He seems not entirely stable" he pauses realizing something "and yes I gather what that sounds like coming from me lately"
"He's been through a lot, I gather. And is maybe not always coping so great with it. It's a common problem around here and I wish I were better at knowing how to help with it, but I'm not. I'm reallly just a glorified mechanic. Which is not addressing the point exactly. I'm looking at the schematics here, and I can make changes to the already programmed instructions to the nanite tanks in the advanced mechanics classroom to allow for these modifications, but someone is going to have to do the physical assembly. I'm afraid I can't help in person. They won't release me from the infirmary. You faint while vomiting one time and everyone freaks out and starts throwing around words like bed rest and medical leave," she said, rolling her eyes. "So I'm not going to be able to do more than advise this time."
And now you know why Aananda didn't freak out about the unidentified dragons flying over the school...she was a bit busy. :P

Red arrows (not the usual green) light up in front of Tryko'Sam and Vickory. They appear to be leading back into the SIM room.
Glancing at the arrows and then back to Vickory as if to confirm he's not imagining things, he says, "Guessing the SIM Mel might need more? But -- that's odd for a program to interact out here. Warrants a look see."
With that, he'll head back to the SIM Room and knock once before pulling the door open to walk back in.
Seeing the addition of a new face on the screens, he says while walking in, "Hey Prof, what's the haps? Something we -- oh, yeah, right." A slight smile forms on his face.

"Tryko'Sam, you called me. I think we might need to lock you out of the SIM rooms for a while every night so you can get some sleep if you forgot that so quickly," she said, looking a little exasperated. "I was just explaining to Arthur that I won't be able to help with this project in person at this time. I'm currently confined to the infirmary," she said with a frustrated sigh. "But I can make changes to the nanite tanks' programs remotely and I've already got them started working on the parts you're going to need to build this device. You are going to need to assemble it yourselves, but I don't think that this will be a problem. Between you, you have the technical expertise necessary to do this. How you're supposed to get it to Melody once you've done so is beyond me. But you have access to all of the data we collected from the first rift on the computers in the advanced mechanics lab. I'm here to advise, presuming that they don't confiscate my equipment. I am resting," she snapped at someone off screen. "This is restful for me. No, I am not being uncooperative. But it's not realistic to expect me to just...nap... Sorry about that," she said, bringing her attention back to the group in the SIM room. "We're having some differences of opinions on what bed rest means exactly."

Tryko'Sam smiles at the monitor the moment Aanandareavekki speaks, and when she finishes.
"Hey now-- I didn't forget, brain was moving onto other things once I stepped outside. If this rift is nearby, I can probably help deploy where ever this 'bomb'," he says with fingers quoting the air, "needs to go-- honestly was going to wait for that. Guessing the assembly part is going to be left to someone besides me. Just to make sure it's not built wrong, I suppose?" He shrugs once, appearing not too attached to that result.
Looking back at Arthur, he adds, "So, give a hollar when you've assembled this, mang, and then point to a map -- I'll get it there, if it's fairly close and not too big when assembled."
He glances briefly at SIM Mel and adds, "You'll be ...uh, blown up? soon. Irradiated, I suppose, or bombarded. Then again, for all we know, we already did this and you're aware-- just not /here/ yet."

"No, no, no. The rift is already closed. That's why Melody is trapped. You're not usually able to travel between parallel universes. I think. Except my daughter does it all the time. But I think that's more of an exception that proves the rule kind of thing. It was all there in the info you sent me. Did you actually read the notes on those schematics?" she asked, dubiously. "The point is, I have no idea how to send something between universes. You are going to have to work that out in order to send the bomb to Melody as she's asking. The notes on the rift might help understand how it might be done."

"Yeah, see -- I figured, the schematics and grease monkey work, not my bag. I'm more of the smarts in a slim form these days, plus witty commentary." He grins for a second, then walks over to the console calling up some of the specs as shown earlier. Clearly he paid attention.
"I'm not aware of how to breech the dimensional curtains of this universe, someone more dimensional sciences can cover that-- or, if I've read right and recall, a wizard person. The name ... Air, someone hot stuff Rena knows, can handle that. Huh." He looks off frowning for a second, then back again.
"Prof, can we access your PA system from in here? could just put the question to the student body-- see if someone able to lift this thing, resist the energy type SIM Mel described, and wiggle fingers to do the teleportation thing; might have one of two choices. Either pluck Real Mel here, or drop the package with her and bail so Melly can do her thing there. Something tells me--" he squints as if thinking on the memory, "it's a bit of cake work, opening a ... Gate? is it? to another specific person if they are known well enough. Find her guitar, use that as a resonator, and boom-- synced and go."
He turns back and looks at Aanandareavekki, "Sound like a plan? Just gotta put it to the student body or teachers and boom-- done. Once Mister Build It here puts it together out of your nano-factory." The way he says it, and with his innate charisma, sounds like a walk in the park.

Phaezeriel |

Vai scoots a little closer to her demonic friend and gives him a warm smile. Tentatively, she puts an arm around his tiny form. Phaeze can feel her shiver ever so slightly.
"I don't know if they really are. Just a thought I had I guess. Maybe it's even what Lumos wants me to think. Can't let that stop me for feeling bad for them."
She sighs and pulls Phaeze a little closer. "I don't know if there's a way to help them though. They're stuck in this war. How can we fix something like that?"
Phaezeriel leans into Vai as she embraces him. One of his wings arches up and around her, nearly as flexible as an arm. His thoughts are full of the warmth of his affection, ::You would not be the Vai I love if you did not have the empathy that you do for even such as the Patrons. That you can show me such a view of them...:: He smiles happily up at Vai, ::You are truly a very special person.::
His expression turns more serious and he goes back to looking at the eggs while they sit there, ::I do not know how we could alter the eternal struggle in which they are involved. How do you reason with a force of nature, much less one of the primal forces of the universe?::

Gareth Myrrdin |

Lang nudges Grim, whispering to him, Grim, be nice, he doesn't like water ok?
looking to Gareth, well, ok, you can play with us. My friend Sun says he has met you and he is with us. but we will be near the water but we won't go in. OK?
"I don't care if you go in, as long as I don't." He replies, looking relieved.

Aanandareavekki |

"If your daughter does it all the time can't we just send her? Or at least ask her for advice?"
"Yes, of course you can. I'm not sure which one of them you should ask. Ephebe and Andromeda are both experts in all this time related stuff. Find one of them. I'm sure they'll help."
Listens to Tryko'Sam's ramblings and then gives him the that made no sense look that was usually reserved for small children talking about invisible rainbow striped dinosaurs eating their breakfast. "You're talking about interplanar travel, Tryko'Sam. Anyone can do that. We have devices that can do that. You...really don't have a grasp on the whole idea of magic yet, do you? Look, a universe consists of not just lots of worlds, but also all of the attached planes. We live in what's called the Prime Material plane. There are also elemental planes, Air, Earth, Fire, Water. And there's Celestia, where you get angels and so on. And the lower plane where the demons and devils and so forth live. There are more, but those are the ones you're most likely to encounter. Travel between planes is easy. But we're talking about travel between universes. Each universe has all of those places within it. Parallel universes exist side by side. At some point they diverged from each other and the girls can explain that bit better than I can, but the point is that there are subtle differences. There was a rift between this universe and the universe right next to it. It had to be sealed because leaving it open would have destroyed both universes. So we sealed it. But Melody wasn't able to get out in time. We thought that she was trapped in the other universe, which was bad enough, but according to the notes you forwarded me, she's actually trapped in a sort of dead zone in between universes. That's why she needs the modified bomb, to make a new door. I presume that she intends it to be a only briefly open self-sealing sort of door or we'll just have this whole problem all over again. Anyhow, that's why this has been such a complicated problem. It's very uncommon, thank goodness, and it's not the sort of thing that lots of people can just deal with easily."

LIkely that can be made to happen to it's less than an instant event."
He seems to pick up on the universe distinction rather quickly.

But it shouldn't take you long with the arrows and there are three of you there that I can see, so one of you can go and find Ephebe or Andromeda and the other two can get started on building the device. That seems efficient enough to me. With the added benefit of not starting a panic."

Mel was working the controls of the simulated ship control room. when Sam goes to leave Mel waves goodbye, bye Sam, don't forget I promised you a dinner sometime. Oh and bye lady friend that I don't really know yet. or maybe I did and forgot.
Getting back to work, Mel pulls out a wide brimmed straw hat. I like this hat.
Sim Mel seems to have a rather carefree attitude considering the situation.
After a bit an image appears on the monitor screen. I found a weak spot between the time streams. This area seems to be a hot spot of temporal activity.
The screen shows a spot in the school in the center of the infirmary.
I think I may be able to concentrate a beam of Artron energy at that point. it will not open a hole but an physical object that is there at the exact spot at the exact time will be sucked into the rift. but timing is of utmost importance. and since time is a bit wibbly wobbly in here will make things more difficult.

Actually it's really simple this time. Ephebe is outside and Andromeda is inside, so the arrows will take him to Andromeda.
The arrows lead Tryko'Sam to a small room just off of the cafeteria. A small group of students are inside eating their dinner, including Dave, who he recognizes. And a four-armed guy he doesn't know as well as a petite girl with light brown hair pulled up into a high ponytail. Probably the girl he was sent to find.

He gives Andromeda a charming smile and looks around briefly before waiting.

So you have mortal beings like us, and then there's immortal beings like angels and demons...well, immortalish really, and then there's gods, and then above that there's...well, champions refer to them as Patrons. There's not really a proper title for them. They're...concepts. Like Time, Pride, Freedom, Death, Love, Light, Darkness, Love, Madness, and so on. And they have this sort of game for lack of a better term. An eternal competition if you will. Which is what they have Champions for. We get special powers and in exchange we are supposed to advance the interests of our Patrons. Historically Champions stay as far away from each other as possible. But in the last couple of years everything changed. Now we work together...which gets complicated when one of our Patrons goes homicidal. Most of the current Champions are here on this planet if not in this school. I'm not sure why they changed the rules to put everyone together, but to be honest, it doesn't exactly bode well. There's probably something universe threatening coming down the pipe. Or they just got bored waiting so long between turns and decided this way was more entertaining. One of those," she rattled off, obviously a talker this girl. Slight tendency to ramble, but good luck interrupting.
"Hey, when you said you were dealing with something far too often, were you referring to the dying a lot or the identity crisis?"

Tryko'Sam stands there listening to Andromeda intently, and then looks to when David speaks.
"I'm not sure which would be a worse possibility, the universe being in danger, or the patrons getting bored"
"Given what Andromeda just said, and my interpertation-- isn't it one and the same? I mean, for all we know, these Patrons are the Universe? But in this Universe, you get talkers-- versus the quiet type." He shrugs.
Then back to Andromeda he adds, "Little bit of A, and lots of B due to A." That does give a pained grin though.

"You might be right, but I can't actually think about it too much. The harder I try to consider it, the more my thoughts go skittering off. Like I just can't concentrate my perception there. Kronos does that when there's something she's keeping secret from me. Ugh. I'm getting a headache just trying to think about it," she said, rubbing her temples.
"Sorry, man, I know just how that goes. Well, maybe not just how. Pretty sure we're not getting there the same way. I spent the last three years my time...err....one year this time I guess....well, anyways, I've been every possible version of myself and died every time. So I'm trying to sort out which me is me from hundreds of possibilities," she said with a shrug. "Which yes, Dave, means that that fight back when you first met me was internal conflict of epic proportions."
"Anyways, we should go. Person to save, preferably without causing any serious damage to time and space. For once. It would make a nice change," she said, practically bouncing with excess nervous energy.

"That ain't right at all. We got any way of determining if you're under any mental tampering? I'd probably lose it if I found out I was being manipulated." He appears very concerned.
"... as for the similar life styles, yeah-- different, but that's interesting. At least you're kind of doing it oppositely? Full disclosure and then sort, versus, rebuild from the parts."
He does look ready to go, just waiting.
