every so often she mumbles something in some unintelligible language.

"The kids," he murmured. "There were three young children...from the elementary school I think. They were in the garden. I'm not sure why. But they would have been hit by the schrapnel and it would have killed them."
"I'm sorry, Rena. Your clothes and hair are a mess because of me," he added apologetically.
"Hush, don't apologize for that Bradley. You were exceedingly brave to take that upon yourself. Besides, it's just clothing, I don't really have much need for it."
Rena unclips the soggy top and pulls it off, exposing herself seemingly without shame right there is the cafeteria. Of course, she almost seems to defy gravity. Large but somehow perky at the same time. Truly, she must be from Heaven. "See? Nothing to be concerned about." she says, with that same radiant smile on her face, though it is very likely that no one is looking at her face anymore.

Anahita stares. Well, at first, unflinching at Ephebe before a blink occurs."I am uncertain of what is going on-- this is technologically based. I would prefer to tend to the land." Anahita peers around again considering the destruction of the landscape and all the fallen trees.
Then, pausing, she peers back at Ephebe and asks, "Can you rewind what happened here, and prevent this destruction? If I can aid you in this, you have but to ask. This loss of life is ...abhorrent. I ... will fix this, if not."
Another glance to the lifepod and Mithros over the door she had used her magics on, waiting.
"Ah, no...that power causes more problems than it solves," she said, shaking her head. "How is she doing?" she said, nodding to the passenger in the the escape pod.
And we may need to pause here until we find out more about the mysterious new arrival. :)

Bradley smiled brightly even though he still had numerous wounds. "Thank you for your gift of healing," he said respectfully to Dom. "I get hurt a lot, so I have a lot of respect for healers," he added with a self-deprecating grin.
Rena bends forward slightly and kisses Dom on the cheek as they're clustered around Bradley. "Thank you for acting so quickly Dom. Your talents are truly amazing." She strokes Dom's arm fondly once again before returning her attentions to Bradley.
The angel-girl's top is soaked through with Bradley's blood - which of course makes the material cling to every inch of her. It would be super sexy (and probably see-through), except that it's... blood. Not always the most arousing thing.
"Who couldn't you let die, Bradley?" she says, and once again his head is cradled in her lap, though she's quite a bit more bloodied now than she was before - even her blue-white hair has some blood in it.
Edit
Dom Nods to Rena then looks to Bradley. "Don't worry about it, but your not fully healed yet so lets try not to get injured much more. Still where you can here my song for a while also. It should heal you the rest of the way."He continues his song once again hoping to heal as many as possible before his arcane energies run out.

"Wait Dom!" the now-topless Rena calls after the healer just leaving, as Bradley passes out. Rena is now getting /quite/ a few looks, and whispers are going around the cafeteria. "I think Bradley's hurt again, he just fainted and his nose is bleeding. Maybe he used his ability again."
She looks around at people. "Is there something wrong with me?" she asks him. He did seem fixated on her chest. She could feel a breeze across them and shivered slightly - though she wasn't cold.

Sorry for the sudden disappearance, I had a friend emergency. Sometimes I think I should hang out a shingle.
When Mithros approaches the life pod, he can see right into the interior. There is no seating whatsoever, simply a smashed console where a pilot might sit in a normal life pod, and a large, silvery stasis capsule with only one marking on its surface: (looks kinda like this, minus the red crap and the box)
G7-8360J
There are no visible keypads, keyholes, clamping mechanisms, or other means of closing or opening the device. When Anahita shows up and casts knock on it, there seems to be no reaction from the stasis capsule; it sits quiescent.
Ephebe arrives and once she moves around to where she can view the stasis capsule, to her altered perception, she can see that the capsule is changing.
A hiss sounds from the capsule as pressure is released, and previously invisible seams appear across the surface of it as four panels curl back like a mercurial banana skin. Inside is a young girl, perhaps 15, laying flat on her back. There is something subtly .. wrong .. with the way she looks. (Heal DC 37)
A few seconds after the pod opens, a strident and distinctive beeping pattern of sound emanates from the open cockpit of Big Boy 2. Mithros feels a cold chill rush up his spine; that is the biohazard alarm.
I need everyone within 15 feet of the open capsule to attempt a DC 25 Fortitude save.
Anahita senses the appearance of teeming billions of new life forms. Microscopic, voracious, and aggressive life forms. A veritable invasion force of hungry virus.

Round One -- Lifepod Fight
Doing Rolls and such first!
Heal Check: 1d20 + 28 ⇒ (10) + 28 = 38
Fortitude Check: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (17) + 22 = 39
End of Rolls and such!
With a glance at the figure from where she is standing and then the roaring sensation within her mind's eye and ear of more things, Anahita seems to grasp immediately what the cause of such is.
She takes one step back and says calmly, "The fire will burn, but be assured, I will heal any damage-- we must stop the unseen threat of minute creatures!"
That said, she invokes her domain's power, whipping up a sheet of flame instantly after gesture, word and channeled energies. A 'Wall of Fire' is generated, creating a circle some 30 feet radius, yet going up 20 feet, and dipping into itself, with the flaming heat pointed inwards, towards all three of the people gathered-- including the occupant of the lifepod.
Casting Wall of Fire, up to 40' radius 'circle', 20' height, but as much as possible, the top of the walls are pointing inward to meet, or try 'cut' off air-- the one side of flame is pointed inward, since it has two.
Damage is: An immobile, blazing curtain of shimmering violet fire springs into existence. One side of the wall, selected by you, sends forth waves of heat, dealing 2d4 points of fire damage to creatures within 10 feet and 1d4 points of fire damage to those past 10 feet but within 20 feet. The wall deals this damage when it appears, and to all creatures in the area on your turn each round. In addition, the wall deals 2d6 points of fire damage + 16 point of fire damage to any creature passing through it. The wall deals double damage to undead creatures.
Sadly, I think that means that both Anahita and Ephebe (unless she was out of the 20' radius) will take 2d4 fire damage:
Fire Damage, up to 10' Away:: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5
Fire Damage, 10' to 20':: 1d4 ⇒ 2
This /might/ light up the occupant as well in case.
The air borne creatures, would soon feel the power of much worse, as she seemed to be flowing into another action to follow the first, only the lightest of frowns on her expressive face.
| Ephebe |
Heal check 1d20 + 28 ⇒ (19) + 28 = 47
Fort save 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20
"Wait, I think she's sick...." and as the biohazard alarms go off, "and we might be now too."
And then there was a wall of fire. Thankfully it wasn't terribly strong.
She has Fire Resistance 30.
"Well, that's one way to handle it..."

He teleported from the ruins of the lab to the animal hospital, but it was already too late....much, much too late.
He felt numb. She was probably the only person he's ever met who didn't want something from him except friendship. Well, her and Nasima. But....Sima was gone and maybe never coming back. And if he hadn't been ignoring Kitty...if he'd done what he was supposed to....he should have been here. He should have protected her.
He looked around at the destruction. There was so much blood. So much...even the stupid squirrels in their little outfits...
He picked up the limp body of her little blue drake. She wouldn't want him to leave it behind. Of all of her animal friends this little one was the most important to her. He tucked the body inside his pocket so it wouldn't fall on the way to the temporary infirmary and picked up Kitty's limp body. Whoever had done this had been viscious. Her neck had been stabbed so many times her head was almost severed. He cradled it carefully against his shoulder as he picked her up. The whole thing felt so surreal. He wished it were just a bad dream. But it wasn't. It was all to real.
Keme stumbled into the cafeteria carrying Kitty's blood-covered body.

I am waiting on Mithros' reactions before moving ahead, but I need to go to sleep, so hold off on further actions.
Ephebe feels nausea and weakness wash over her. Only the worst of nerve toxins operate this fast and strong. She can feel the presence of the virus in her body. Can feel it changing her. She feels a confusing hatred pressing against her; a hatred for Anahita. And Mithros if he succeeds the save. :)
Ephebe: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 Wisdom damage, 1d6 ⇒ 6 Constitution damage.
Anahita can sense the fire annihilating the virus, its numbers dying in their millions. But it seems that there is no end to them. They are appearing as fast as she can burn them.
The oddness about the girl is that her arms and hands are off. There is an extra joint in each finger, and the proportion of her arms is wrong. At least until the fire hits her, then she screams, her eyes snapping open, and her skin reddens, blisters, then a ripple passes through her skin and her arms and fingers revert to normal human proportions and her skin takes on a reddish hue. She stops screaming. Her eyes remain wide open though she seems to be staring at something very far away, and she is mouthing "no" soundlessly, over and over and over.

"Not here, but they'll definitely have them in the cafeteria."
"If I don't come talk to you before tomorrow come find me...I have something I could really use your help for."
Wyrd nods to Jiminy then sinks into the stone again. A few moments later, he emerges to about his ribcage, or at least, where his ribcage is sculpted, in an empty portion of the cafeteria floor. "I need a large container." One of the cooks brings him a large mixing bowl and with a grimace of pain, he begins grinding the diamonds to dust between his iron hands. Once he finishes he holds the bowl out in the general direction of the nearest healer, "This is powdered diamonds. Jiminy said it needed to be powder. Use it to fix the dead people."

Does it appear the Wall of Fire can 'cap' off any virus escape up the top of the Wall, or do I potentially need to do something to 'cap' it further, Lurch?
The walls of fire seem to be keeping it contained, but they are not able to eradicate it. Something is producing it as fast as it can be purged with fire.
And this is Lurch, officially signing off till tomorrow morning. Good night Avalon.

Keme stumbled into the cafeteria carrying Kitty's blood-covered body.
While turned away from from Rena Dom notices a boy with strange ears enter. In his arms is a bloody girl. Both looked about the same age as he and Tami, but the girl was covered in blood and not moving. "Oh gods. Tami I think I'm going to need more fresh water." He drops the shirt and bends all the water from the pitcher of water and rushes over to the boy and girl. "Quickly set her down on the table." He tells Keme while pointing out a clear table. "How long has she been like this?"
How far gone is she needing a rez or just about -10. If needing a rez how many rounds has past. My rez gets harder to do the longer they have been dead.
| Rena, the Companion |
"I-I wasn't ogling. Ok maybe a little. I'm sorry." He bows toward them both. His face was red with embarrassment. Dom slips off his own Hawaiian style shirt and holds it out to Rena, now trying to keep his eyes averted. "Here Rena you should cover up with this. The buttons work even though I don't use them."
At Dom's reassurances that Bradley was alright (though she wasn't sure how her surprising him had anything to do with fainting and nose bleeding), Rena laid him down on the infirmary bed, as one of the other healers came around to tend to him.
Rena takes the offered shirt from Dom and slips it on - though doesn't really take the necessary time to button it. He did seem strangely insistent that she put clothes on. The shirt doesn't quite fit enough for her to button anyway, as it has to encompass her wings too. She's still in danger of flashing everyone present.
Before Keme's entrance carrying the dead figure of Kitty, Rena had walked up to the girl standing next to Dom, smiling at her broadly. Given that the shirt remained un-buttoned, Rena was still showing a fair bit of skin, though the primary focus of attention had been covered up. Still, Rena takes Tamina's hands - which are heavenly soft - and brushes up next to her. "Are you the love that Dom spoke of?" she asks sweetly. The angel girl runs her hand up and down Tamina's arm, savouring the delicate soft skin of the elf. Given Tamina's generally scantily clad garb, the sight of the two would probably prove extremely distracting (assuming that Tamina didn't pull away).
When Kitty's body was brought in, Rena's stomach did something completely foreign to her. It twitched in revulsion, and it was all Rena could do not to spew vomit everywhere. Her eyes watered a bit, though after the almost-upchuck, she turns away from the horrific scene and instead "tucks" herself into Tamina, obviously seeking comfort.

Fei walks the remaining distance to the Materials and Supplies building, and upon arriving... well, suffice to say, it's the smell that gets to him before anything else.
The smell of melted and burnt matter, flesh and various other non-living items. It's then, that, unless the building is completely air-tight, that he might notice just the slightest bit of smoke still casually creeping out of the place.
Depending on any awareness he might have of magical or martial warfare, of the technological variety, it's a question of whether or not to open the door into the build, considering what might be within.
Additionally, unless he's completely deaf, there does sound as if some 'movement' can be heard from within, plus a few low moans or the like. The thick walls to the place, though, might make it harder to hear.
Fei comes up short as he rounds the corner of the school, the smell and smoke coming from the Materials and Supplies building not the result of the recent shower of metal shards. Though he no longer needs to breathe, the young monk has to take a steadying breath against the repeated assaults against the school...and now here, his home.
His brow furrowed, Fei quietly approaches the main doors from the side, keenly aware of the moans coming from his coworkers, but also of the movement which could indicate something...else...
Up to you, Fei-- Perception roll if you would like, and any Knowledge: Arcana or 'Military' (for tech weaponry). And while you're at it, let's get a Knowledge: Religion in there for good measure.

She re-appears outside the cafeteria - out of line of sight of Kitty's corpse, and puts a hand on the wall - she was looking for the comfort only one person could give - her Mom.

She seems willing to just sit and talk with the new person for as long as he'd like. This helps keep her mind off all the bad things that were happening and his mind off the impending sense that he could never be anything but a scary monster. "What's with the fire?! Are you crazy?"
He hears the girl scream, and starts to work firebending katas to extinguish the fire...
Yes. Yes you did. I missed those few words. I did catch the part with the helmet, but did not know that there was a fully sealed environmental suit involved. But given the "fighting in outer space" perhaps I should have. Mithros does not need to make any Fort save. Would he have any communication with BB2's systems in the environmental suit? BB2 would still have detected the biohazard.

Yeah, probably will hear alarms over his headset in the helmet, or via a heads up display in his helmet, so we're good there :)

As Mithros begins firebending, the fire starts to slacken, and Anahita can sense that the tide of viral invaders is no longer held in check by the fire; they are being produced faster than the fire is killing them. She is now certain, something is producing them.
He hadn't actually started to firebend...but he's doing the somatic component (kata) to do so. I stated this to give someone a chance to recognize what he's doing and stop him. I don't even know if he can bend fire due to a spell, or being formed and held by magic.

Okay, that was not super clear to me. It is not a catastrophic containment failure in any event. It is more a case of them slowly winning at this point.
I will be afk for several hours.
