Also this is mostly about Yrrin and his arrival, so he gets the spotlight so to speak. It would be cool to have Ace there, kinda as a test of his abilities. I'd rather either keep him away though, so as not to steal any of the glory, or have him in a support role. Aiding townsfolk, helping heal, stuff like that.
Of course, there's probably not much reason for Ace to actually be in town, when this goes down, so if he shows up, it'll have to be due to hearing about it at school.
Pretty much my plan if there's no reason for him to go that way then he and Zilla won't. As for not stealing the spotlight I doubt a specialist healer could steal the spotlight in a fight.

Yeah, the group heading to the sun is leaving early in the morning and the expedition to the frozen volcano heads out shortly after. The demon summoners sleep in a bit cause it's a weekend day before they head into town.

its actually when posts get intertwined and people are running through multiple scenerios at the same time. posts get buried real fast and responses go unnoticed.
its not an in game time thing is a posting logistics thing.
especially if they have characters involved in both.
but we shall see... I usually just adapt to what's going on and take applicable actions as required.

The only time I miss responses (usually) is when there are a few people in a scene and they charge on ahead without waiting. I'm guilty of this too, so I'm not trying to bash people.
Also it might not matter for me anyway, since it looks like Ardiente has found something else which suits his story better.
People think I miss responses but really my posting time is just limited somewhat these days, so if a scene has advanced significantly, I usually just have my characters react to the most recent action(s) rather than jumping back and forth.
Lang, I wouldn't be too worried with the trip to the sun getting burried.
There's three different "adventures" taking place, yes, but I believe DB3 and to a lesser extent Fireclaw are in charge of one, while I am more or less handling a second, with Death Keeper on assist.
Also I am pretty sure none of Lyn's PCs are involved in either.
However, she has three PCs(I think? More?) going to the Sun and she's pretty much in charge there.
So you should more or less have Lyn all to yourself.

Ignace had an incident where she got upset during class time and turned the girls bathroom into an inferno for a little bit. No one was hurt.
Dave wasn't paying attention very well during Ryleh's last class. Kiara and Dave are likely to face a pop quiz on Monday (in game) as a result. That covers the highlights of what Kiara should know.There are a lot of upset firebirds running around after the announcement that the firebird sun is being destroyed in a few days. There was a fencing club meeting with an unnatural number of accidents. Folks are excited about their weekend plans. That's about what I've got for a general sum-up.
Edit: Yes, that's right. Fei went boom. He's also better now.
Also some new people arrived some more dramatically than others.
Oh and Johnny has a freaky new ship. Also Johnny broke up with Tybs.
In all seriousness though, the firebird 'exodus' is probably the single biggest storyline with wide-ranging implications in the region. Most of the other events have been localized to either the school or the nearby town of Kuros.
How much you missed depends mostly upon whom your characters were interacting with last (which I will confess to not remembering off the top of my head) (=^-^=)

If she starts using her abilities regularly it very well could. I doubt they appreciate living portals.

So today I've been trying to catch up on the business side of being the GM. Answering questions and sorting through backlog and all that crap. I've even been cleaning out my email and putting important info in places I can actually find it. I'm getting a new computer so I need to organize my files basically. Next step sorting through my PMs for the same type of thing. But the site keeps going down. I haven't even been able to get through enough of this crap to even think about updating the game thread today. :(
It's gotta be tough, being a dm with this much on their plate.
