Tenro touched upon a few things I was going to say, but I'll add my thoughts as well.
Umineko,
You're problems are all of your own making. It has nothing to do with the pace of the game, the others not choosing to interact with you, or anything you've claimed.
The problem lies with you. Several of have gone out of our way to offer advice on how to get you in the game, with both of your characters. Instead of taking the advice, you've just complained more.
In a Play by Post, especially one as open and interactive as this one, "forcing a scene" as you call is it kinda normal. You want to get involved with some PCs, regardless of who plays them? Walk on up to them, and do or say something. Use Ghost Sound to make a loud noise, right behind them. Cast Mage Hand and knock over their drink, causing it to spill over them OR the guy/girl they like. Or just strike up a conversation, that seems innocuous, but contains questions about your target.
I think a large part of your problem is your admitted lack of knowledge regarding the game and its mechanics. Even just some zero level spells, like the two above, Prestidigitation, Message, and Dancing Lights can all give Rhaze stuff to do.
Go research the spells of the game, really research them, and you'll see that there's plenty you can use to accomplish your goals. If you need help, PM Lyn, or DB3 or some others and ask.

I figured she couldn't but Dom doesn't need to know that. ;)

"If you can dodge an Infernal Engine, you can dodge a ball!!"
Doc Zeppler ~ "How would you like to take a break from that fine lead-based paint... and learn about Dodgeball? " ;D
sounds like fun!

Narrator! wrote:OMG...is Raelle a cryptic? She is indeed....it's a great fit with her illusion magic and really incorporates the stuff she's already good at. :)
But her confidence issues are really making this process of her new abilities starting to happen that much harder since she's unconsciously suppressing and rejecting them.
This is kinda funny. When I was looking for a second class for the other half of my gestalt, before I settled on Taskshaper, Crypic was one of the classes I was looking at. Kinda glad I didn't.

I am so getting detention. :(

ha ha. I notice. Something tells me we're going to butt heads a lot. I was trying to avoid getting in trouble to. NNnnnooooo!!!!!!!

And here I thought that you were asking him the question as an example of stop talking or you will miss something.

There's been no new posts here for over 12 hours, which bothers me.
Hey Lyn, I have a bunch of friends on Facebook who might interested in this game, but I don't want to post a link to the game in case you get flooded with requests.
Thus, would it be ok if post a link to recruitment on my Facebook??
Also,
On my way to see the new Oz movie. Be jealous lol.

lynora |

I am jealous! Might take the kidlet to see that this weekend. :)
Ummm.....I dunno about the facebook thing. I'm a little worried about adding a whole bunch of new players right now. One or two at a time works better than a whole influx. And I'm afraid another rush would completely derail my attempt to get Chance back up and running.

Gonna see if the family will go tonight but my eyes will have viewed this movie at some point soon.
Also I think that there are plenty people on right now.

Chance? capotal C?
patron of chaos/luck?
Chance as in a huge port city in the country of Sorryn (technically Chance has its own government, the politics get confusing) and the world of Nexus.
Homebrew 3rd level gestalt game. (Games of Chance) The characters are members of the city watch in the worst section of town. Much like this game there are no limits on the number of players. The pace is slower than Avalon though and it's much more structured.

Lyn, I'm gonna pause the Ardiente/Vai/Fei/Aananda scene if that's alright with you. I know Dalesman probably doesn't want us waiting on him, but I feel like Fei might want to add a few words to this conversation.

Unless there is something troublesome there... I think I will actually leave it to Fei to react to that. Ardiente and Vai should've both taken penalties to perception anyway, emotionally distracted as they are.
Sorry Death_Keeper, if you wanted to get right into it. Fei would've been the first to notice it anyway.

Ardiente, of the Fuerte |

I'm not entirely sure how Ardiente would react to an observer spying on his most private secret... especially in so delicate a frame of mind.
Like, I literally don't know. Another reason why I want to leave it to Fei. XD

lynora |

Is this an illusion or is he physically there? Because with the sensitivity of the info shared in that room, the nanite cloud would have been screaming at Aananda if there were a physical intruder. An illusion would still likely get some response honestly. But it would be more of the tracing where it came from and having a 'little chat' with the offending person type response as opposed to the would have been kicked out as soon as they got there type response.

You'll want to talk to Anthony then...he took over as the school bookie now that Dennis is enjoying 'legitimate emplyment'. ;P

Just reacting to what I see in game, FireclawDrake. As much as possible and where possible, I'm attempting to be IC with Anahita. No super seeing eyed dog, no radar sense, no cosmic awareness. Just.. her personality and history.
Just wait until I start applying learned experience to her. Then it'll start getting ugly-er? Heh.
Not throwing stones! Honest.
None the less, art imitates life. I think that's the proverb/saying.
Maybe?
"Fyodor Dostoevsky predicted that at first art would imitate life, then life would imitate art, and finally, that life would draw the very reason for its existence from art."
~ Ravi Zacharias, Can Man Live Without God (Dallas: Word Publishing, 1994) p. 73

FireclawDrake |

I know I know. Just find that funny. In some of my characters it is deliberate (Vai is working through some trauma (contents slightly disturbing, but it's a wiki page), Ardiente has his own reasons), but honestly I find shifting emotions to the best way to play out character dislikes/quirks. I just wonder if I overdo it sometimes :)
